The doors opened right at 11am and you order from the counter and have a seat. The staff is welcoming and assist with the line and seating to have everything move smoothly. The prices were not bad at all and we got alot of food. The fried chicken is out of this world. A must get. You won't regret it. It is so flavorful with crispy skin, yet moist chicken. Also, it is not super greasy which was my favorite part. I enjoyed the green beans and corn on the cob. The jalapeño corn bread was amazing! My mom got the black eyed peas, mac n cheese, and regular cornbread with her fried chicken. She raved about the black eyes peas. We also ordered banana pudding and Mrs. Pearl's Cheesecake. The banana pudding was my favorite and a great sweet treat to round out my southern meal. The inside of the diner is not very large but does have plenty of seating inside and some outside. Please ask pickup prep crew to stop lining your pickup boxes with paper that sticks to the cheese fries. Use foil sheets. This has happened on the last 3 orders we've placed from You guys. Second Bad, a full order of Bacon Cheese fries used to fill the entire bottom of the box. It Now it consists of two small handfuls of fries. Not the amount expected for $13. If I'm adding steak for $3-$4 extra I would expect more than 4 small pieces of steak. It used to have 10-12 pieces of steak when the order was $10 a box. I do understand that beef prices have increased but not so much that you skimp too much after raising prices on the order. I'll end on a positive. Sunday Chicken, the Cat is the best door greeter!
