    I really like Camp Transformation ! I signed up for their 3 week keto challenge and had plans to leave after it was over. In that short period of time I worked out 5-6 days a week and am starting to see real change in my body....so I signed up for the new 6 week challenge! Can't wait to see how I can continue to transform!

    The Camp Transformation Center is a gym that offers various programs to start new healthy lifestyles, with a nutrition program paired with exercises that are meant to either lose weight, or to recomposition your body by gaining muscle, and losing body fat. The program that I participated in was 6 weeks long with the goal of losing 5% body fat. It included eating, eating, eating, and eating, along with exercising twice a day for 5 days a week. One High Intensity Interval Training session, focusing on either upper body, lower body, or full body, paired with a resistance session training the same muscle groups targeted by the HIIT workout. As part of the nutrition guide, I had to consume 4.5 cups of rice, 6 cups of broccoli, and 24 ounces of chicken, along with 3 protein shakes a day, and exactly 15 almonds. At first it was difficult to eat so much, but as the weeks went by, it became easier, and I felt like I really needed it, especially with the amount of calories I was burning a day. My Apple Watch averaged over 1,200 calories burned on my training days. At the end of my program, I was able to reach my goal of losing 5% body fat, fixed my sleeping schedule, able to wake up before the sun comes up, and fit into the pile of clothes that I put away that wasn't able to fit anymore. Thank you to coach Ted, Mack, Lou, Jas, and Keri for the opportunity to transform an important aspect of my life, especially having my beautiful wife do the same program by my side.

    I've been in the camp for a week few days doing their six-week fitness challenge. During the challenge, you have an FTDI diet that they provide which offers pescatarian and vegetarian options. You do have to commit to going at least five times but you can do more and even go more than once a day. All the trainers are good and they have the week broken down in to arm, leg, and full-body days. It's nice because you don't feel like you're doing the same workout each time you go in. If you are competitive this place could work for you but you have to be willing to push yourself On your own since everyone is going at their own pace. The camp only has group classes and ranges in the number of attendees. I've been to classes as low as 5/6 and as many as 20 approximately. This also depends on peak times bc they have three classes in the morning and evening and two on Saturday. They are closed Sunday but do have an app you can use. There is more to the six-week challenge and they offer a good amount of other challenges. But, if you want to just join as a member there's an option for that too. It's definitely worth checking them out.

    The Camp is not just a gym it's a second home. I found not only my family here, but myself. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this place. I have been able to overcome mental and physical health difficulties with their help. Not saying they are a cure to anything, but they make you want to do and be the best you, you can be. They are not only great trainers, but incredible friends. The community is phenomenal. I wake up at 4am everyday excited to come and workout just because these amazing people I get to call my Awesome Fit Family.

    So, I completed the 6 week, 20 lb challenge and want to share my experience.  To get the full picture, though, let me tell you where I started and what my motivation was. 9 weeks ago I visited my primary care physician for a routine physical.  Do that if you haven't!  Don't wait.  When I weighed in I topped the scale at just over 200 pounds; an all time high for me.  Okay, I thought, I can always lose some weight.  Then came the vitals & the conversation with the doc that started my mind thinking about solutions.  For the first time in my life my blood pressure was outside of the normal range and my resting heart rate was out of control.  My doc asked me to go pick up a home blood pressure machine & keep a daily journal for the next 2 weeks then come back to review the bloodwork and journal results.   7 weeks ago I went for the follow-up appointment.  Bloodwork was fine but the at-home results were in line with the BP & resting heart rate she had seen at her office.  She told me if I didn't fix it myself the next step is beta blockers which would mean being dependent upon medicine for the rest of my life.  That was it.  I left her office with a choice to make. When I got home, I asked my wife to join me on a journey of change.  She didn't need it but she is my rock so I knew if she would work out with me I wouldn't give up.   I called Jaz, explained my goals & scheduled time to come in for orientation.  It was time to get started.  My initial, official weigh in was 199.4 pounds. Week 1 was tough.  I mean it was tough.  But we kept going!   Week 2 was a bit easier as was week 3.  In week 4 I remember saying to one of the trainers that it seemed to be easier already & his response was "It's not easier, you're just getting better at it..." and that became my new mantra.  I'm getting better at it.  I'm pushing harder.  I'm doing more with each exercise.  I'm not giving up because I have a goal in mind & that goal is to live and be healthy enough to enjoy watching my grandchildren grow up! Week 4, 5 & 6 were much the same.  The workouts were real.  They were intense!  But...I kept getting better at it. I finished.  I hit my challenge goal and much, much more. Today, 6 weeks to the day after my first workout my BP and resting heart rate are both in the normal range.  Not just barely either.  I'm well within the normal range.  My final weigh in was 176.6 pounds.  22.8 pounds of fat lost & a 4% increase in total muscle mass!!!  Amazing results. I'm not here to sell the program but if you are in a situation where you need a change then I think you should give it a shot.  Don't give up.  Just keep pushing & get better at it every single day! To Jaz, Lou & the entire staff, a great big HEARTFELT THANK YOU!!!!  Seriously, pun intended but thank you from the depths of my heart.

    The Camp TC is great! Went here for about a year when I first moved to Austin. It was great! Supportive staff, great trainers, and good products. I love how the gym really creates a community atmosphere. People are encouraged and supported to meet their goals but also challenged to work hard. I joined because my best friend was there and we made other friends there. We were really all in it together! They also host a family/friend invite on the first Saturday of each month which was always fun! My only suggestion would be to have their flooring cleaned more often (so much sweat on that floor that requires members to lay down a lot), equipment could be updated and their membership prices were steep (more deals would be awesome). Overall, it's a great environment and wish I had something like this closer to where I live!

    Be Careful: Billing and Contract Issues…read more I have been a strong supporter of OrangeTheory, but after my recent conversation with Anthony, Regional Manager, with the Round Rock location, my wife and I have decided not to renew our memberships. I initially signed up under a promotion described as "pay for one month and get two months free." However, I later discovered that I had been enrolled in a 12-month contract. When I requested cancellation, I was informed that the previous manager, Jay, did some shady stuff and had offered deals that he was not authorized to sell. Upon learning this, I immediately submitted written notice to cancel -- more than 30 days before the end of the three-month period. Despite this, I was charged for an additional month. I was also billed on March 1, even though the studio manager, Britany, had confirmed in writing that billing would not occur until March 15. In fact, based on the timeline, the next legitimate billing date should have been April 1. However, since I canceled my membership more than 30 days in advance, I should not have been billed at all. Additionally, I was told by the regional manager that if I hold a membership at the Round Rock studio, I cannot attend the Pflugerville studio. This was surprising and unclear, as I was clearly communicated at the time of signup that I can do so. In fact, their app does allow me schedule sessions in Pflugerville. Can someone confirm, if the regional manager is saying the truth? Overall, this experience reflects poor communication and inconsistent billing practices. As a business owner and someone who has worked with Fortune 100 companies, I believe this situation could have been handled far more transparently and professionally. I would encourage prospective members to carefully review all terms before signing up, and not trust them on the face value. He has flexible hours (morning and evening classes), personalized group training and he is very knowledgeable about the human body and fitness. All this for an unbeatable price. He does his part and making sure he's there every morning. With that kind of dedication, you have to try it for yourself and give him a chance. I can tell my body is still burning calories after the workout and I don't feel like my body is dead tired. The best part about it is you can go 5 days a week and at $52 dollars a month, it's a good deal.

He's very energetic and you can also tell he loves what he does. He's also super friendly, approachable and very helpful. Kevin, who is a trainer there, is also great and comes up with great exercises that seem to always complement each other. You also have to check out his quote of the day on the board when you walk in! The workouts are fun and are as difficult as you make them. Both Miguel and Kevin also make great effort to know everyone by name, which gives it that welcoming atmosphere. I have also enjoyed meeting the other members and no one I have met thus far has been intimidating or off putting. There's a really good vibe where everyone seems genuinely supportive of each other. The prices for this boot camp are very comparable to other gyms around with a similar structure; however, this gym allows you to come an unlimited number of times a week instead of just a certain number based on the rate you pay.
