I used to go to a different med spa for almost 3 years, and while everyone there was great,…read morescheduling started to get a little difficult. I also didn't love that I would see a different person almost every time I went in for treatments. It just felt like I had to keep re explaining my goals over and over. I decided to try Skin Theory, and I'm really glad I did. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, and overall they just seem a lot more flexible with scheduling. One of the biggest things for me is consistency, and so far I've seen the same provider, Nurse David, which I really appreciate. It makes a huge difference when someone is already familiar with your face and what you're trying to achieve. David has been amazing. I went in for preventative injectables and specifically wanted to try Daxxify, which they offer. He was very attentive, listened to everything I was saying, and I never felt rushed, especially during my first consultation. He's very detail oriented and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results. I had my first visit about two weeks ago and just went back yesterday for a follow up. I'm still fairly new to injectables, so I had more questions and even decided to add a couple of new areas I've never treated before. He walked me through everything again and made sure I felt confident moving forward. So far I'm really happy with my results and the overall experience. As someone who used to struggle with cystic acne, one pimple isn't usually a big deal anymore (thankfully acne hasn't been an issue for me the last few years). But I'm heading to the East Coast to meet some family members for the first time (tomorrow) and I was feeling very self-conscious. Mary Grace took me in even though I didn't realize they were actually closed today Life has been a roller coaster these last couple of months, and I've been doing my best to keep my head high. I shared a bit about my trip with her, and she had exactly the right words for me, words I truly needed to hear. I haven't been emotional at all through everything I've been dealing with lately, but in that moment the tears just started falling. She asked if she could pray over me. As a believer, I said yes, please. The prayer she prayed over me my trip, meeting my family, my life was one of the most beautiful and meaningful prayers I've ever experienced. I was full on tears. I've also been dealing with recent anxiety episodes (1st time in my life) something I've never experienced before, and she prayed over that as well almost as if she already knew.
