This is my new favorite bar in Toledo. Service: great!!!! Very attentive and good conversation also. We sat at the bar, had conversations with patrons and staff he tenders. Food: nothing special but , the food is good. Ambience: great, classy, clean . They also have a great selection of IPA's and micro brews. They also have a few signature drinks. Top shelf Bourbons . I came here two nights in a row. Enjoyed each time that I was there.

First time to visit the Casual Pint. Vast number of craft brewed beer choices, food was decent, and live entertainment. Service was attentive and the bar staff was helpful in making choices. Food prices were a bit excessive. We had a good time in this very low key environment, sat at the bar and met some nice people. We will be returning in the future.

I do want to do 3 stars but that's because I'm annoyed Their beer prices are the most expensive in town. That annoys me. Forgive me I'm human. Casual pint is a chain. This is the fourth one I've been to on the regular and I do not like it. Hit or miss friendly bartenders. Crap food. Gotta give 4 stars for the beer selection. All craft all the time. One of few spots that always has a little of everything. Then they told me it was like $20 to fill my 32 oz growler for something or other. Spare me. Annoyed again. Snack type food. I really hope they up the menu because craft beer is strong. Need real food. Service is hit or miss. Crowd or no crowd. There's 1 female bartender that adores my man and we always get good service when she's there. A lot of 10oz pours for $7 and up. Why pay this when you can get a full pint for $6 around the corner. Love this chain but not this location

Nice bar to stop in and try beers from all around the area. They had a live band the night we stopped in. We enjoyed this place. We didn't try the food though so can't comment on that.

Alcoholic ginger beer. It's only 4.8 v/v EtOH, but it tastes like it's dry. Dangerous stuff. Good stuff.

Bottom line: The Casual Pint has one job...it sells beer. Suffice it to say that THE Casual Pint is damned good at its job. Beer: Now, we're not talking 'bout shit beer. Sorry pal, but you won't find Gennessee (sic) Cream Ale up in THIS mutha! Hell, you won't even find my beloved water-beer, Coors Light... CP features a very well curated draft list. There are, usually, 35 beers on tap, and, at this moment, 22 are from Ohio breweries. You'll find products from larger regional/national outfits, such as Boulevard's 30th anniversary ale. Also, you'll find beers from tiny breweries, like Wally Post RED (Moeller Brew Barn's, which is located just down the road in Maria Stein, OH). Seasonal offerings: Yes, and, uh, they change every season. Right now, if it's your bag, baby, there are multiple Fall/Halloween style brews on tap. For example, Roadsmary's Other Baby (Two Roads Brewing Company) is a nice tasty pumpkin/yam beer. Creepshow Smoked Porter, from Warped Wing in Dayton, is just what it sounds like. Carry out: Don't forget to take home a crowler or a growler for the kids! Furthermore, on the wall opposite the draft bar, you'll find shelves and coolers chock full of cans and bottles. You'll find wine, beer, more beer, and even more beer. Plus, you'll find mead, cider, alcoholic ginger beer, etc. Basically, if humans drink it, and it contains alcohol, it's probably represented at the Casual Pint. I didn't see spirits represented, but I didn't look too hard. Food: Some of the items on the menu actually sounded pretty interesting. I've never eaten here, so I can't vouch for the food. Maybe next time. Service: Perhaps it's a little spotty, sometimes. Personally, I've never had an issue. Business Model: Casual Pint is a chain, but each franchise (about 25 in the country, most are east of the Mississippi) is locally owned. Clearly, there is an concerted effort to feature, at least to some degree, local products. Atmosphere: Comfortable, but nothing special. Location: It's on the Secor corridor...the RESURGENT Secor corridor...it's located right in, essentially, the dead center of the Toledo metro area. So yeah, even though Casual Pint isn't a brewery, it is definitely a great addition to Toledo's craft beer scene. 5 stars!

    Buffalo Chicken Salad

Barring atrocious service (and that's not what I got here), a place with 35 craft beers on tap is bound to squeeze at least three stars out of me. The Casual Pint's beer board offered everything from the familiar IPAs and porters to offbeat sours and meads, mostly from Ohio breweries. Sure it's got a strip-mall eatery atmosphere, but if you're were looking for hip and edgy along north Secor you may already have overimbibed and don't need to go to a bar anyway. I can't give TCP any more than three stars because of the food. On my first stop I ordered a buffalo chicken salad, which was OK--chicken was surprisingly spicy--but small. When I returned I was craving something a little more decadent and ordered the "American" bratwurst that came with cheese and bacon. The brat was bland and could easily have passed as a plain hotdog. The cheese resembled cheese sauce, and the bacon tasted like it might have been taken out of the smoker a little too soon. It gave the sandwich some crunch but not much else. Some of the "Sidewinder" fried potatoes on the side were still a little cool in the middle--I get the impression they come frozen. Most of the people there (very few when I visited as that was during two weekday lunchtimes) were ordering the flatbreads, which could be the better choice. They don't call themselves The Casual Gastropub, though. For a place to get a pint, it's fine.

We came here for happy hour and had an early dinner. The menu hasn't. Hanged much but they did have an extensive lent menu which I thought was great. I ordered the Reuben since it's that time of year and the flavor was amazing! I do love that they still offer free popcorn to the tables while you wait for your food. We saw things going to other tables that looked good. Good beer menu as well.

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.
