A good ride for all ages. This ride takes you through the book Cat in the Hat. It shows animated scenes from it. I thought it was fun and nostalgic. Definitely a longer ride than some of the others.

This isn't a thrill ride, but very cute if you grew up with The Cat in the Hat like I did. Love the whimsical feel of the attraction, and you exit in a well-stocked gift shop. Definitely worth stopping in this area to ride and shop the store.

The cat in the hat is an iconic kids story book. This ride was decent to say the least. It had some fun elements like the spinning and turning. But the animatronics are in a desperate need of replacement or serious repair. The cat in the hat animatronics eyes are literally sinking into his skull, it is absolutely terrifying! And thing 1 and 2 also have very uncanny movements. Please fix the animatronics and then this ride will get a 4 stars.

"It is fun to have fun but you have to know how." The Cat in the Hat I am a huge Cat in the Hat fan although I always wonder why their mother never taught them about stranger danger when I read the book with the kids at school. Good thing they had that fish babysitter. My appreciation for the book was really sharpened during the few months I had a student read it to me everyday because it was the only thing that made him sit still for more than 30 seconds. Scores of children grew up learning to read on the Cat and the Hat. If you haven't seen it since you were a kid it is actually pretty long. The ride opened with the park on May 28, 1999 as the flagship attraction of Seuss Landing. It is best for small children or anyone who has never been on it but for me however it is more of a place to sit back and relax for a few minutes. We were able to walk on which is the only reason we rode. The cars and loading area were looking a little dingy. The indoor ride takes you through the story with audio, video, and animatronics. The Cat in the Hat makes a mess, the fish scolds, Thing One and Thing Two clean it up just in time for mom to come home and you exit out to the gift shop. It was a good place to rest before heading off to one of the more exciting attractions.

The ride will spin a bit

Fun for all ages and the theme is thorough throughout the outside, inside, and ride. It's true to the book and the detail is fun. Only disappointment is that the Cat's voice is not the one from.the live action movie so it's not as nostalgic as it could be, but that was likely too expensive. The three of us had no issue sitting in the same cart together.

This is a really enjoyable ride that my family and I went to while we were at universal studios. I enjoyed going through the whole cat in the hat book and having things come out at you and tells the story of the whole book. We enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun.

The Cat In The Hat is a ride at Universal Islands of Adventure. If you're a fan of the Dr.Seuss books, you have to ride The Cat In the Hat! It's a slow, dark ride, geared towards children. In the beginning of the morning, there was pretty much no wait time. Towards the evening hours, there also was a little to no wait time as well. During the day however, wait times can get to approximately 20 minutes, summertime. Inside the queue, it's air conditioned and "Cat In the Hat" themed. If you've gone to Disney World or Disneyland, this ride is comparison to Winnie The Pooh, or Snow White at Disneyland. The ride takes you through The Cat In the Hat story. The cat goes through the house and you get to see memorable characters from the story such as Thing 1 and Thing 2. There is several twists and turns throughout the ride. My family and I enjoyed the ride! It's a nice break from standing in waiting queues for certain rides like the Harry Potter!

The Cat In the Hat is a storybook ride. If you have been to Disney, this is exactly like a Fantasyland ride. Takes you through The Cat In the Hat book. With all its flashy colors and rhymes. The line looked longer then it actually look. It was only a 15 minute wait, start to finish. The line space is a bit tight though. Kiddos enjoyed seeing a book I read to them come to life. Located in Seuss Landing at Island of Adventure, not Universal.

What a fun but very dated ride. It desperately needs an overhaul both inside and out. Other than updates, this ride continues to be one of my favorites and I have not ridden it in years until a recent trip here. The queue is pretty long and winding, helping with crowds when it's busy. During the trip though, it was a literal walk on! Upon getting to the front of the line, you use the sanitizer they pump into your hand and are placed in your own vehicle to promote distancing during these times. The ride itself is shockingly long and very twisty and turny so be careful if you have any neck or back problems. The animatronics definitely need to be replaced and updated due to how old they are. Quite a few were not working and a lot of the paint was chipping in areas of the ride but overall it is still a great ride with a cute story. I definitely recommend this ride but not if the wait is longer than 30 minutes for sure.

Very cute ride for younger children. The ride takes you through a colorful and immersive Dr. Seuss story. There is almost never a long wait.

We first started doing this in magical midway, but when that felt too rickety and unsafe, we started looking for other parks, and that's when we found fun spot! I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

We had a beautiful day to visit and smiled throughout the day. Some of our best moments were walking through the various city streets and seeing musical performances and dancing. The walkways were wide and we were never on top of other guests. Most rides had reasonable wait times and/or offered single rider options. The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. They have a convenient parking garage where the first three floors are paid parking, while the fourth floor and above are free. That was a nice bonus and made getting there easy. I was actually on my way to a restaurant, so exploring the park wasn't part of the plan. But once I walked inside, I couldn't help but look around. There were restaurants, food vendors, candy shops, drink stands, and so much more. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and full of energy. It looked like the perfect place for families, couples, or anyone just looking to spend a few hours enjoying themselves. This is a short review because I didn't get the chance to experience everything Icon Park has to offer. However, based on my first impression alone, I can definitely say I'll be back. It was filled with excitement for both children and adults, and I'm looking forward to exploring it even more on my next visit.

All three of these together took up about two hours and then we were able to go to Cafe tu tu tango to get a bite to eat. This was a great half day experience while we were visiting Orlando. There was a parking garage and parking was super easy. By that time we left around 8:30 PM there were so many cars, but when we first got there at about 5 PM there were tons of spots. They do have parking spots you can pay for in the lower levels so it seems like if you're willing to pay there will always be parking. If you want free parking, you need to go earlier because this seems to be popular for nightlife. I always appreciate when there's so many attractions together that you can walk to. This place has quite a few restaurants, some shops and the attractions all in a contained area. It was very clean and when we came, there was a huge police presence, because apparently a couple weeks before there was hundreds of teenagers that descended to the area and fought. So the place was doing a really good job making sure that everything was safe. This is a place for both families and non-families alike.

I walked through the warp pipe entrance and into the land, and that was a genuine moment. The colors, sounds, and scale of everything around me hit immediately in a way that was hard to prepare for even though I knew what to expect. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the music threading through the entire area kept the immersion intact as I moved from one section to the next. Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness is the ride to prioritize and the one that generates the most excitement in the land. I arrived at park open and went straight here, which was the right strategy as the wait times built quickly. Mario Kart is the other major attraction and delivers on the concept, with the Power Up Band integration adding a competitive layer that makes it more than just a passive ride experience. The Power Up Band is worth purchasing before entering the park if I want the full experience. It unlocks interactive elements and mini games scattered throughout the land that let me collect coins, hit question blocks, and track my score on the app. Without it I could still enjoy the rides and the theming, but a meaningful portion of what makes the land special is tied to having one. At around fifty dollars it is an added cost on top of an already expensive day, but for a Nintendo fan it justifies itself quickly. Weekday visits made a noticeable difference in wait times and gave me more room to engage with the interactive elements without feeling rushed. The land rewards people who slow down and explore rather than just moving through it as efficiently as possible, and there is enough packed into the space that I could spend a solid chunk of the day here without feeling like I had exhausted it.
