Lastly, she kept my house key for months. I emailed twice to ask for the key back and I didn't get a response to either email. I contacted Jaime and she was very prompt and got it resolved immediately. I love my pet like a family member, which makes me anxious when I have to leave her. If you're a person who doesn't need daily updates while away on vacation, you'd probably be fine with the second sitter. After that experience, I chose to work with a different company.

Melissa took the puppy into her own home while she scoured the area for the owners. I was impressed from the start. That was before I had a dog of my own. A few months later, I bought a 12 week old Shar Pei puppy, Lola. She was scared to death of the city noises at first. Although she loved dogs, she was (and still is) somewhat shy around people. She never likes to be left alone, despises crates and she simply goes into a panic attack whenever I leave. I have gone through a series of conditioning exercises to calm her nerves. I reached out to Melissa to see if she would help me with the separation anxiety by coming to get her once every week or so to go for a walk with someone other than me. She not only took Lola for walks over the next few months, but she would come by the patio to say hi to her when she'd pass by on her other dog walks. Lola loves dogs, and she started to become very excited whenever Melissa would come around. In fact, she could sense when Melissa was in the area before I'd even see her. I'd know when I'd see her standing up on the fence with her tail wagging and Melissa would show up about 30 seconds later. Fast forward to today. Lola just turned a year old. Melissa is highly dependable and goes the extra mile to ensure a positive experience. She watched Lola on many occasions in our home including a week when we were out of town for a family wedding. Lola absolutely loves Melissa, and I couldn't feel more comfortable with anyone else taking care of her, especially with the sensitive anxiety issues. Highly recommended!! Let me summarize the main reasons why you should hire them. 1) They are VERY RESPONSIVE, there's nothing more frustrating than needing to make changes to your walk or book a walk for a last minute weekend and no one is responding. Whitney responds very fast and always does her best to fulfill your needs. She is very professional and has never let me down. 2) Walkers that pay attention and are attentive. I have had about three consistent walkers and they all follow the very specific long and detailed instructions I leave for my pups. Especially Bridget, she is wonderful and so caring with my dogs! 3) Petcheck technology, you can easily schedule/change, track the walk, view the walk report card, and see pictures from the walk. I also leave instructions and building codes on here, it's very easy to use and seems like Whitney checks it very often when you requests new walks. You can also leave notes for the walker that day, this is useful if there are minor changes or if you just need to leave a FYI for your walker.
