The meal I had I this lounge was better than any meal we had on our Norwegian cruise! Service was ok, nothing special. Ambiance was ok, but lacked the wow factor I got from other Centurion Lounges I've tried. We lounged here for 3 hours so I was thankful for the strong and reliable WiFi connection here. The lounge was at capacity when we arrived and we had to circle around a few times before we found 2 open seats near each other.

We stopped in here before our flight home. You had to scan a QR code to join the digital waitlist- it was about 20 mins before we could enter. It was VERY BUSY! We found a table and a couple chairs free but the place is absolutely packed with people. The hot food selections were picked over and really messy / unappetizing so went to back corner for soup and sandwich - those were fine - mostly bread on the sandwich - very thin tiny slice of turkey. My husband went to the bar to get us a drink and the bartender didn't want to give him two drinks - he did point me out sitting at the table with our bags, but I guess you're supposed to abandon your things/chairs and go looking for another seat? Nope. The lounge is simply not large enough for this airport.

This lounge had a good vibe. It was comfy with lots of seating options. The stand out though was the food! They served some kind of braised beef with delicious rice. The roasted carrots also were delightful. I had two large plates of food.

Five stars for the Centurion Lounge at Miami International Airport! The food is absolutely delicious, and the dishes curated by Chef Michelle Bernstein are always outstanding. Every time I visit, the quality and presentation are top notch. Yes, there can sometimes be a long wait to get in, but that seems to be the case with many Centurion Lounges across the country these days. Once inside, it's absolutely worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Easily one of the best airport lounges in the country!

Over 1.5hr wait to get in today. It's a nice lounge but usually super busy and today not really accessible. Food and drink options are pretty good. Service works hard to clean the place. Not too many bathrooms. Seating can be tough to get.

There should be a disclaimer for all American Express card users when they come to Miami... "Better join the Waitlist". I don't think I've ever been to this airport without seeing the same signage telling you to check in digitally for the waitlist. Today we ventured over from Terminal G to Terminal D, which was a hike, and I actually joined the waitlist when we initially left. It took about 40 minutes before I actually received my QR code for access, but at that point I decided to return back to our initial Airport gate. On my previous trip, I came and I'm not gonna lie. It was a hot mess. The level of traffic that goes in and out of there, the cleaning crew can barely keep the areas clean. All the chairs still have stuff on them so you feel like you gotta self-service cleanup. The offerings aren't great, and I pretty much left in disgust. The card carries a lot of privileges, BUT here at Miami International Airport, it's just not worth it. If you have a layover here for anything less than 4 hours, don't make the effort...Unless you need a shower, got no money, and have nothing better to do... Sorry, that's how you left me feeling AMEX!!!

American Express Centurion Lounge - Miami (Gate D12) Located near Gate D12, this lounge is beautiful -- modern, spacious, and definitely one of the nicer Centurion Lounges I've been to. The seating along the huge windows is a highlight. Sitting there watching nonstop American Airlines activity on the runway is oddly relaxing and a great way to kill time before a flight. The lounge itself is large, with two bars and two food buffet stations, so there's plenty of room to sit, eat, and unwind. Food was solid, drinks were good, and the wine and cocktail selection didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and professional, though you can tell they're under pressure dealing with the volume of guests. We traveled during a holiday weekend, so there was a waitlist -- about 30-40 minutes before we were allowed in. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm now with airport lounges everywhere. Once inside, we still had a great time relaxing, eating, and having drinks. The only real letdown was the bar situation. Even though there are two bars, only one bartender was working the full-service cocktail bar, which meant long waits for drinks due to the crowd. Overall, a very nice lounge and a comfortable place to spend time before a flight. With better crowd control and more bartenders during peak hours, this would easily be a 5-star experience. For now, a solid 4 stars.

A bit disappointed with this Amex Centurion Lounge. Very crowded, which isn't necessarily their fault, it is. Holiday week. But many coffee stations are empty at 0900. Perhaps not enough staff for the holiday travel rush? Food was just eh. Look for the quiet seating options tucked away down a hall near the entrance, especially on a busy day!

Recently visited the Miami Centurion Lounge during a layover and as many others have commented this lounge gets very busy, probably the busiest centurion lounge I've been to and there is always a shortage of seats. Food is good and there's a nice variety of hot and cold salads between the two buffet bars. It of course can be busy and while there was no line when I went in around 3pm, by 5pm there was a waiting list. I do wish they set up designated areas to leave used plates and glasses as the tables can get pretty dirty and there aren't enough servers to take away used items.

I've enjoyed the privileges of membership, which mostly is the exceptional level of service provided. The MIA D30 Admirals Club seems to have some nice people working there as well, especially Alexandra at the Check In desk. Unfortunately for Alexandra and her colleagues, the place is run by the miserable Catarena (she refused to provide her last name or any other identifying information and stated "just tell them Catarena in M-I-A Admirals Club"). We were connecting on a flight home via MIA and had some family with us. We went to the club at D15 and hung out there for about 30 minutes. We chose to move over to the D30 club, as our gates were much closer to that lounge. We arrived and my wife did not have her AAdvantage credit card with her. I showed the check in counter at D15 her card on the Citi app and they said it's no problem. We went over to D30 expecting a similar experience...but the polar opposite. Alexandra let me know she needed the Supervisor to make an exception. She didn't think it would be a problem, especially since the D15 club just let us in. Catarena came over with a negative attitude right from the start. It was apparent that she is one of the people who hates doing her job. I explained the situation to her and about how we had just come from the lounge at D15. She said she'd call them to "check" (as if I was lying). She said they don't remember letting us in, and said they let someone in with five kids and no one else so she could do the same. I explained we do not have five kids in the group. I also asked for the name of the person she spoke with. "You have my name, right? YOU asked for MY name, right? That's enough." I asked Catarena if she was going to help us. She refused to answer the question and kept going round and round with no answer and the stupid smirk on her face...you know it...the one terrible people in Customer Service use when they've "won" by upsetting a loyal, repeat patron. Catarena NoLastName finally set me off with her stupid smirk and disingenuous "have a nice day" in the most annoying and condescending voice. I gave her some choice words, wished her a terrible rest of her miserable life, and walked out with my family. Note: this club is the anomaly...it's horrible because they have a worthless Supervisor (Catarena NoLastName) working there...most Admirals Clubs are absolutely phenomenal!
