Small but lovely. Located in by gate D12 at MIA. Had a 3 hr lay over starting at 730am. We arrived at gate D38 and it seemed close enough but no. Give yourself 15-20min to walk there. Today MIA sky train was out of order so we got our steps in! The lounge was not very busy when we arrived but def picked up as the morning continued. I read that the kitchen was run by Celebrity Chef, James Beard award winning, Michele Bernstein. So we were excited. The spread was small but delicious and substantial. Breakfast consisted of delicious flavorful shakshuka, chilaquiles, roasted sausage potato Parmesan, lemon ricotta whipped pancakes, lots of fruits and fresh OJ! The coffee/cap machine also made a yummy cap. Seating was not as plentiful and the tables were not turned regularly. Other than that we loved our morning here! read more

Visited the Centurion Lounge today July 12 2025 at MIA AIRPORT around 3:20pm after flying from NY to FLL 45 minutes earlier, ubering from FLL to MIA, and connecting in MIA to fly to DC. I arrive an hour early. I get to the desk and this bald gentleman tells me I'm too early. He asks if Im connecting, I say Yes. I show him the boarding pass from Allegiant Air. He tells me I have to go downstairs because its a different airport. But I explain Im connecting and I'm exhausted. I plead, Can he make an exception. He says thats not his problem. But its the way he said it. I ask for his full name, he says he cant give it to me. Tells me its just Bobby. I ask for a Manager. I wait for about 20 minutes, but his manager never came. I call Amex and explain the issue to the agent. She wants to speak with him through my phone but Bobby says no. The agent pits me on hold and calls into the Centurion Lounge directly. He goes to speak with her, but doesnt want to speak with her in front of me. He goes to a different corner. He comes back and hangs up the phone, wouldn't even look at me, turns the chair around and gives me his back. The agent comes back on the line in my cellphone after the short hold and tells me she cant override what Bobby want to do because the Centurion Lounge is not an AMEX LOUNGE???? WHAT?! Says Centurion workers are not Amex employees. They just have a "partnership". I say no problem. The lounges are the reason I have this card since 2017. I'd like to close the card, please. I say, if you cant resolve this poor customer service issue I am receiving I want to cancel the card. I pay $695 for my membership card plus $195 for 3 other members of my family. I'm not paying $1280 a year so that Bobby can treat me without empathy or consideration. The agent transfers me to an Amex manager, so I leave the Lounge and go downstairs. The manager tries to save the account but I just tell her, if this is what $1280 a year gets me, I dont want it. Please close the account and reverse all the annual fees. She proceeds. I'm writing this review so that both AMERICAN EXPRESS AND CENTURION LOUNGE can see what poorly trained employees are costing them. The whole point of working in hospitality is to give good customer service. The Lounge was not full. There was no waiting time. Bobby could've gotten me the manager. He could've spoken to Amex in front of me. And he certainly didn't have to roll his eyes and give me his back. I'm not a criminal. I'm a loyalty member since 2017. Or I should say - I was. Crowded space with lots of kids. Access is only by elevator and no stairs. Expect to wait to get in. Facilities are disappointing. Unable to use the shower facility. Per front desk, they're full. Toilet stalls limited to two for the men's restroom; the other stall is out of service. One of the stalls has a faulty lock and needs to be fixed. I kindly requested my table be wiped down before I sat down, and the lady who came by wiped it with one of the existing napkins on the table and left. Never came back with a real cleaner. First time at Centurion Miami. Delayed due to impending Hurricane Ian and this was a great alternative to passing the time by gate. Breakfast buffet and coffee is plentiful and many hands running around keeping up with clearing areas. We found a comfy section and settled in. Hopefully not for too long. I took this picture of the men's bathroom in the middle of the day. Allow me to describe what you're seeing; there is toilet paper stacked on the toilet scrubber, a lime on the floor, a glass cup on the back of the toilet, and I don't need to mention the contents of the toilet itself. I was traveling to Costa Rica and had about an hour before my flight took off so I gave this Lounge a try; It's located towards the 1st part of Terminal 1 and is close to Admirals Lounge as well. Upon entering, you'll need to show your Platinum or Centurion card so be sure to have that handy. Tables are plentiful and seriously, this place is huge; when you get passed the front check in desk, there is space to the right and left; complimentary food and beverages are available with alcohol opening at 10am. Showers are also available if you wish. I was't impressed with the food selections for breakfast; the taste wasn't all that great and the options were few. Perhaps lunch or dinner would be better...I'll need to return to see how it is during those times. read more

Long line wait, prepare for an old bouncer dude at the elevator door, over crowded, jam packed like can of sardines. Good luck in finding place to sit and relax, kids running all over the place, kicking and screaming. I think my partner and I contracted Norovirus there because we ate the buffet food and became ill, probably the serving ware got touched with fecal matter as the only bathrooms are constantly being used and I've seen people not wash their hands. Miami Centurion could not ever compare to or even come close to the Amex Centurion Lounge @ LAX. After being to the new Centurion Lounge @ LAX, this one here in Miami is a sad case. If you do not HAVE to go to the Centurion here because you have other options of seating for an hour or two such as any one of the hundreds of restaurants next to the Centurion, I would advise you to just skip out on this one. It's small, there aren't any extremely comfortable spots to sit, it's 10x more crowded than the terminal areas, and there's just not much space to move about. Not to mention, the front desk here does not have that welcoming effect like ALL of the other Centurion Lounges we've been to. We came here, stayed for a few and then went right over to Delta Sky Club which was 10x better. read more

Well here we go again. The lounge is supposed to be open until 10 PM, but they start pulling food at 8:30. The food that is left is cold and was cooked earlier in the day. Flavor is as usual - bland. The only two smiles I received were from the full bar bar tender and the greater at the front counter. Tables were massively dirty and hadn't been bussed. They bussed them about 20 min after I arrived and had to clear my own table. Am Ex is this your idea of exclusive? This isn't free in-fact you charge $700 a year for this "privilege". How about some customer service training? I stopped tipping in the lounge unless I get a friendly greeting by the server, so only one tip this trip. Now at 8:50 they pulled the cookies and are telling guests they are out, nice just lie to your guests. Just very poor for one of the high end lounges. We waited in line for everything from the elevator to get up to the lounge, food at the buffet and had to circle the place a few times to find a table for 2. If this is your first time using a centurion lounge please do not make the Miami location your first. You will be highly disappointed. The front desk reps (Carmen and Darin) act like Bouncers. I understand this location fills up quickly, but it's all about the approach. The front desk reps were making several mistakes by turning away guests who boarding passes haven't updated or seat assignment weren't listed yet. Only to found they were incorrect after the guests called them out. If you're 2-5 mins ahead of the 3 hours minimum requirement they'll make you go back downstairs and not allow you to stand Aside. I saw Darin go into the lounge and make several guests get up out of seating because they were a little close to another guests chair. Literally walking up to them, loud and calling them out. It was hard to watch. This is suppose to be an added luxury bonus to having a Plantinum card and not a pain to endure when accessing it.
