    Crabby Tots
    Abby S.

Stopped into the chasseur on a warm Friday evening. Parking may be a little tricky as it is all street spots. The ground level is a bar and if you go up the stairs to the left you'll find ample seating on their rooftop with bathrooms on the middle floor. We ordered one of their tequila flights which was super fun to do. They have lots of specialty drinks on their menu and a full bar. We got the crabby tots to start which were extremely cheesy and heavy. I ordered the crab Mac which was tasty but I didn't enjoy the big chunky onions inside, I also found a lot of crab shell while eating. My friend got the cheesesteak and he ate every bite! Service is fast as it seems the servers float around the dining area and cover all tables. The upstairs dining area gives you a beautiful view of the city especially on sunny days. The restaurant also hosts live music and events occasionally. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!

Overall, the food was pretty good. Would recommend the spicy chicken sandwich (sammy). Inside, it's very sports-bar vibe and can get super loud. Service was pretty quick and the servers were friendly.

One of my fave bars Good food and fun menu Cosmos are amazing and cheap My only con was that the Mac had 1 piece of crab. Still a phenomenal Mac!!! Just shouldn't be called a crab Mac.

Easily of my fave brunch spots. Staff is never overly friendly but the food and vibes are always great here. It does get pretty loud as something to note but there's three floors of seating which is great and you can make reservations ahead of time which I highly recommend if you have a group going!

Had brunch at The Chasseur and dined in their rooftop patio which opens up like a garage. Bartenders and servers were friendly and the food was delish! I had the lemon crush and the bruleed french toast. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and we shared an order of fries. So yummy.

To be honest, they have basic bar food--and not the best you've ever had--but the service was efficient and friendly, and I enjoyed the vibes inside. They also have a bottomless brunch, although I did not experience it. GLOWS: - They have 3 floors inside the restaurant, with the middle floor being an airy balcony vibe with garage door windows and bar with various sports games playing. The highest floor is a small roof top that you can sit out on and relax. -The chocolate chip cookies and ice cream dessert was really good -Delicious hand cut fries -They have grilled wings on the menu.. A big plus for me, as I have been staying away from fried wings GROWS: - The grilled wings were a little too charred on some of them for my liking. -The Brussel sprouts were mushy and lacked flavor -The drinks are not very pretty, just basic plastic cups, so don't look for aesthetics

My food was delicious. I got the Brulee'd French Toast and cream of crab soup. They both were delicious . One of my girlfriends got the avocado toast and assumed that it was going to be blended. However they had avocado slices on top of toast. She didn't like it. My other girlfriend got the chicken and waffles. However, the chicken piece was huge and she didn't like what they breaded it with so they both to sent their items back. One of the replacement dishes was the tacos and she preferred that over the avocado toast. Service: our waitress Maddie was awesome. She was very attentive and pleasant. Ambiance: it's was a very nice. They do have 3 floors which we were on the 3rd floor. They have it where you can open the sliding doors to have a balcony feeling. They have a pup menu and QR code!!

    Amazing chicken and waffles

I was a little skeptical due to the long wait to order and the bitter coffee, but it was all well worth it for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy with a delicious coating and the waffle was fluffy and perfect.

    Buffalo flatbread

Saw on their website that Monday nights were half off burgers for dine in, but when I went to order, the waitress said that there were no food specials, which was disappointing. Instead I ordered a buffalo flatbread that was pretty good, but had a lot of sauce, I personally would have preferred a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I also got a raspberry lemonade crush for $6 which was incredibly strong and only tasted like vodka, which in my college days I would have really appreciated, but on a monday night it was a lot. I do like the vibes there, and I could see myself coming in on a friday or saturday night in the future.

    Salmon BLT Sandwich

We always passed by here and never had a chance to stop in so we finally came for dinner on a Friday night to check out the place. Both the downstairs and upstairs have bar and table seating. The weather had turned chilly already, so the upstairs walls were closed off with windows. We had no problems getting a table right away even though some had been reserved already. We ordered drinks, and the staff was very attentive to preferences. The spicy cauliflower shareable was delicious and delivered the spice it promised so don't underestimate this dish! We each had a sandwich, a salmon BLT and a turkey BLT. The brioche bun on the salmon sandwich was soft, sweet, and perfect to complement the savory, flavorful salmon and crispy turkey. The turkey BLT was enormous! The white bread could have been a bit more toasted. There was a very generous layering of turkey along with cheddar in this BLT twist. The bacon was again nice and crispy. The fries were perfectly salted and had some crunch though most were a bit soft. If you're looking for a flavorful dinner with laidback ambiance and friendly service, don't pass on The Chasseur!

So on our weekly date night she decided to take us to the Chasseur. It was a nice little lounge off of Eastern Avenue. It wasn't too pack but had a nice crowd so I'm figuring that how we lucked up & found a parking spot right outside of the front door. We were seated very quick & our waitress was very good wit getting our orders in. For an appetizer I elected to get the Maryland half & half crab soup. It was pretty but needed a little pepper added but nice portions of crab meat so that's a win in my book. Next I went wit the grilled chicken Sammy now listen when I say this thing was delicious the melted pepper jack cheese was the thing that pushed it over the edge. This was an amazing call by the wife have to give her all the credit & thank the staff at the Chasseur for such an excellent experience

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

A few of us came early and got drinks at the speakeasy upstairs which I definitely recommend! It had a great drink menu and cool vibe. For actual dinner, the restaurant itself had an eclectic menu and swanky decor. The service was spotty. I had to ask for water refills 2x. Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.

I actually found Union Hill while planning my friend's 40th birthday dinner from another state, and from the moment I reached out, everything just flowed. I inquired about hosting a dinner and one of the owners, Matt, got back to me within a day. From there, the planning felt effortless. He answered all my questions, stayed in communication, and really helped bring the whole vision together. We had close to 30 people for the dinner in one of their private dining areas, and when I say the staff was impeccable... they were ON IT. My friend had no idea where she was going, so this was a full surprise. Once we gave the staff the green light, they were ready and immediately started accommodating everyone. Everything just flowed from there. We did family-style appetizers, which I loved because everyone got to try a little bit of everything. Everything was flavorful and came out at the perfect pace. For my entrée, I had the salmon and it was so good. And listen... I hosted the whole thing, ate there that night, AND still had leftovers to take home. That's always a win. They were also super accommodating leading up to the event. I was able to drop off the cake and cake pops the evening before, and I was even able to decorate the private dining area, which made everything feel really personal. What could have easily been a stressful experience ended up feeling seamless. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful. The private dining area worked perfectly for our group, and they even have an upstairs outdoor area as well as a downstairs outdoor space, which I didn't get to experience this time but definitely want to the next time I go back.
