    The venue

Brick Bistro has potential, but the event I attended was disorganized; one chef, one hostess doing everything. Online the venue says it opens at 12:00pm I arrived 11 min after the start of our event and it seemed they were just setting up. The food was just okay. I ordered the steak, eggs and potatoes. The hostess didn't ask for the temperature but they made it medium rare, which I prefer medium well, but it was cooked well done. I also ordered salt and vinegar wings and I cannot tell you how they taste as I left after waiting for them. I told the table to share amongst each other once they came out. Not enough seating. people left early so others could sit. The themed rooms (lounge or dining) are a nice touch, and it's BYOB/Hookah which sets a cool tone. But if I go back, it'll be with a small group, hoping for more polish next time.

This place has potential. I came here for a "Link & Drink" gift exchange. When I drove up I was a little confused. The sign from the street makes you think it's inside of the liquor store, however it's actually behind it. There is some street parking but if you can car pool or rideshare I suggest that. The concept is cute. There's I think 6 private rooms each being able to seat up to 7-16 people at once. Theres also an area outdoors that's would be great when the weathers nice. Each room has its own vibe and is color coordinated. The staff is very friendly. I took some points off for food. It took a really, really long time for us to get our meal, and one of the pizzas we ordered, we couldn't get because they didn't have the ingredients but we weren't told for over an hour. They have Salt & Vinegar wings which has become popular. Think Lemon Pepper wings with a twang. They also have cards and board games you can borrow. I would come here again.

I came! I saw!! I conquered!!! I found this place last Thursday while leaving another establishment. I ran to Google so quickly to see what this was about, that I almost twisted my ankle !! Lol After viewing the website, menu, IG and Yelp page, I was shocked that I hadn't heard about this place sooner !! I immediately invited hubby on a brunch date!! Once you view the hash browns, you'll understand why !! Ha So let's get to the meat and potatoes of this review... literally!! Street parking! This place has street parking just like everywhere else in Hampden. DO NOT park in the garage across the street as it's not affiliated, and you'll be towed. Hubby and I had a small moment trying to locate the door as there isn't huge signage. Once you walk through the gate from side street, you've arrived. We were the 1st customers of the day. We entered a welcoming dining area where we were able to chose our seats and were assisted immediately. Collectively we ordered the following. Twelve Herb Chicken Sandwich: Very flavorful and well plated. Great portion size. Waffle, Chicken Sausage, and Scrambled Egg Whites w American Cheese: Hubby enjoyed this meal so much. It was soooo plentiful. The chicken sausage was amazing! Brick Berry Bliss: Delish Mocktail. This was 1 of several. Very refreshing !! Banana Pudding: Hubby devoured as much as he could there, and inhaled the leftovers as soon as we arrived home. This was an amazing experience. Customer service was quick, consistent and polite. Hubby and I toured the outside. They have individual climate controlled seating pods that have specific colors themes for each. They also have 3 different sized pods. I'm guessing they hold 8-16 folks each. They're insanely cool. I've been showing my friends and family the pics since leaving. If you have not visited this neighborhood gem, make it a priority !!

The food good (minus the vegetables the were a little too done for my taste) and the vibe was amazing. This is such a cute concept. Definitely great new year trying new places. The staff was friendly but service can be stepped up.

I was so excited to visit this new restaurant! It has an amazing outdoor area. It's BYOB and they can add your liquor to any of the mocktails. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and kind. The beef smash burger was delicious. I can't wait to come back to try the pizza. This is a great place to hang with friends, enjoy a variety of seating areas, and play games. They have private rooms too for small events!!

Let's hear it for new businesses with creative concepts! This place is a new spot and I have to say that their vision of individual dining rooms, has great potential. Each room holds between 8-10 people and it's an opportunity to have your own private dining experience without the hassle of other guests in your space. The rooms are equipped with televisions where you can play music and there are board games available for use-making this very family friendly! Drinks: it is a BYOB establishment-if you desire something more adult lol. But, their strawberry lemonade was actually very refreshing and the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Appetizers: Crab dip with fresh baked bread: wasn't the best that I've had but it was tasty Cheesesteak egg rolls: not really a fan but I get the vision Shrimp rocket: not my favorite, it was a little bland Caesar salad: delicious! And they added multigrain crotons Main dish: I ordered the steak and shrimp teriyaki which came with a rice pilaf and fresh green beans. The first steak I ordered was really salty but after a discussion with the manager, the chef corrected my order and hand delivered a perfect steak! The shrimp on the side was perfectly cooked and the rice pilaf was a hit with me! Seriously, that was some amazing rice pilaf! Not too soggy and not too hard, there is an art to preparing this dish and the chef mastered it! The green beans were my fav! SO goooood! Service: they are fairly new so the service can use some work, a general manager, and food and beverage training to help the staff thrive. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and would give them another try for breakfast or brunch when I'm back in town. Let's support Black owned businesses and give this place a try! The concept will win you over.

Had the pleasure of hosting my partner's birthday brunch here. The concept of the private rooms (there are like 5/6- different theme colors) with the ability to use the TVs makes the space pretty flexible. You can plan a romantic small get together or just use it to change scenery while remote working. For our brunch in the "Red Room", it was an all-around fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, professional, and accommodating, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. We had just the right amount of check-ins and our friends enjoyed the concept and privacy. We also had access to using the TV in the room, so we got to curate the listening experience to our liking-- the vibes were vibing. The food was the real star of the brunch. The menu offered a great selection, but the standout dishes were undeniably the steak and eggs. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender and flavorful, while the eggs were just the right balance of fluffy and rich. It quickly became a crowd favorite at our table. My partner enjoyed the beef egg rolls and the chips and dip as well. The private room was a great choice--intimate, well-appointed, and perfect for a gathering where we could enjoy our meal, drinks and conversation without distractions. Overall, Brick Bistro delivered on all fronts: great food, excellent service, and a fantastic private dining experience. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a special night out or a private event with top-tier hospitality. Special shout out to the lead server, Ben, for making our experience epic. My partner had a great time and we will def be visiting them again.

Wow!! The ambience is amazing!! But the food!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGG The snapper 10/10 the broccoli 10/10 The shrimp and salmon linguine 10/10 The prefect place to come w friends or family or solo. I highly recommend you come and try thisokac

Make sure to make a reservation. Weekend reservations are impossible. On a weekday, we were able to book same day. Top notch service. Accepts credit card. Their menu changes. We showed up for a reservation but had to wait. The staff was nice and gave us a complimentary charcuterie board. Tavern board (charcuterie board) - was really good. Nice spread of salami and cheese. It's a nice precursor to the main meal Roasted oysters- tasted fresh. There's extra condiments on top, I thought was excessive Oyster pie- pretty interesting. Oyster was fresh, the crust of pie was good. I would skip next time Hog neck clams-really good. Tasted fresh. The real winner was the sauce. The complimentary bread was used to soak up the sauce. The sauce was so so good. I would get this again for the sauce. Fish and chips- cooked very well. Great presentation. Scallops - were exquisite and cooked perfectly. My friend who had this dish raved about how good it was.

We've been here for casual date nights, Valentine's dinner, and the last time we came was for our friends renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage. That alone says a lot about the kind of place it is. It fits both everyday moments and really meaningful ones. What stands out first is the atmosphere. There's a warmth to the space that makes it feel inviting right away. It has a rustic, polished look with a lot of character, but it never feels stiff or overly formal. It's the kind of place where you can tell thought was put into every detail, but it still feels comfortable enough to settle in and enjoy yourself. For me, the experience starts before the food even hits the table. The space has a calm, intentional energy to it. It's perfect for slowing things down and actually enjoying your time, especially with someone you care about. The food is where it really separates itself. Everything feels carefully prepared and well thought out. You can tell they care about ingredients, and that always comes through in the flavor. Nothing feels thrown together or generic. The menu itself gets you excited before you even order, and the food lives up to it. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just feel like a place serving food, it feels like a place creating an experience. The dishes have personality. There's intention behind them. It's not about being flashy, it's about doing things right. The service adds to that as well. Every time we've gone, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. It makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Another thing I like is that it feels distinctly Baltimore without feeling ordinary. It has a real identity to it, and that makes it memorable. My wife and I keep coming back because it feels like time well spent. Good food, great atmosphere, and the kind of place that actually stays with you after you leave. Overall, this is easily one of the more memorable dining experiences in Baltimore. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something that feels meaningful, not just another night out.

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit
