Snow Pants Happy Hour Special $5.

Ellie's Tavern is a stellar restaurant and bar that executes on all levels and screams all that's great about Baltimore. There is seating inside and outside. Inside features great brick walls and Baltimore sports memorabilia that make for great conversation. Every server, every bartender is amazing. They are informed, pleasant, energetic and just do a fantastic job. You'll want for nothing while you're there. The beer selection is great, their mixed drinks amazing. My wife ordered an Old Fashioned and it was one of the best I've tasted. Perfectly done. The wings are huge, and seasoned very well. We had Old Bay wings and buffalo. Both hit well. Cooked well, flavored perfectly. We also tried some of the appetizers they feature. The Crab Rangoon dip is perfect! The chips light, tasty, the dip...perfect combination of savory, creamy and sweet. Just a fantastic dish! Reason alone to go to Ellie's. The steak poutine was hearty and delicious as was the chili Mac and cheese. This is elevated pub food. Truly elevated. TVs everywhere with captioning. The perfect place to watch a game. Great Happy hour deals as well. If you haven't tried Ellie's, I highly recommend you do. Just a great dining and drink experience in Canton.

Ellie's is such a cute neighborhood spot! I love the drinks and food that are always changing. The outdoor area is super cute and I loved their Christmas decor! My one suggestion is that I wish they served the corn dip hot in the winter because it would be sooooooo good to warm people up. In the summer, keep it chilled! The pomegranate martinis with gin was very delicious. The shoestring fries are some of my fave in the city!! The flatbread I got with sous vide egg was interesting- I don't know if I am a sous vide texture lover but the pizza was really good besides that! The service was pretty fast for a busy night. Great for date night or chillen with friends! This was my first time sitting upstairs and it was awesome to see how many TVs they had and how they play hockey games! Will def be back for a game watch one day.

Our favorite spot for cocktails They are right across the street from us so we love walking over, takeout is great and service is good if you sit in there as well.

Went here for trivia on Wednesday night and it was all decorated for Christmas - very cute and festive. The staff were amazing, super attentive, and friendly. The menu has a ton of variety and isn't just "bar food" so it seems there is something for all to enjoy!

We loved checking out this cute upscale dive bar. The interior is warm and welcoming. Still had some Christmas decor up which was fun! The food was good and there was A LOT!!! The beer yummy. I really wanted a beanie because my goddaughter's name is Ellie and I just love a beanie. They didn't have any left. I joked if one of the servers would sell me the one she was wearing and she did!!!! That's amazing service. Thank you!!! We will be back the next time we are in town.

Awesome place! New owners, Dre and Natty are amazing!!! I love the atmosphere at Ellie's, great bartenders, jukebox, pet friendly, second floor very spacious, outside seating, cheap drinks and clean restrooms. Food is great! I personally love their Sweet Chili Wings, their sauces are delicious, wings are cooked perfectly and well seasoned, their Snack/Cheese Board is good as well. Their menu has "specials" that change every so often, one of my favorites so far was "Shrimp Corndogs with pineapple pico de gallo" the pico de gallo sauce was perfectly made and sweet which I loved! If you're a Chicken Wings junkie, enjoy watching sports while having good priced drinks and great atmosphere, then this is the place to be at in Canton! I recommend!

I loved Cardinal Tavern and was sad to hear it closed, but I am so happy to see another thriving business in that beautiful space. We were driving somewhere else for a Friday lunch, but we saw the new signage and open windows and had to stop. The servers were friendly, but admittedly service was a little slow for there being four people in the restaurant at the time. It was a gorgeous day and we were happy to wait, and thankfully the food was worth it. The crab rangoon is deconstructed with fried wonton chips. The rangoon comes in a very hot skillet and was so yummy, the chips were great too. This is a pretty filling app, we didn't finish (even though we wanted to) so we could save room for the sandwiches and... We were so glad we did! The blackened salmon sandwich was fantastic, and I really loved the Caesar dressing. The burger was indeed a Classic Burger, it was perfect and extremely tasty. Loved our lunch here and we can't wait to come back and try the other eats on the menu.

Date night!!!! We've wanted to explore some restaurants we discovered along our evening walks and settled on Ellie's for tonight. We completely forgot it was an O's night. This place has lots of cool O's focused menu items for game nights. Our server was very personable as was the entire staff. Multiple people took the time to check in and make sure we were enjoying our experience. While it was super loud because of the game, this is definitely a place we'd revisit. Now on to the food: the Thai salad was delicious. Definitely opens the nasal passage which is not a bad thing for a gal struggling with pollen and allergies. Fries... a little salty and I LOVED it. It came with some type of spicy ketchup which I wasn't a fan of but thank goodness for regular ketchup on the table. The vegan curry was also a bit salty but good with a good level of spice. The grilled Romaine could have come off the grill 30 seconds earlier and they could have used a little less dressing but I was still excited and enjoy it. The parm shavings were clutch. I added salmon to the dish. I requested well, but the salmon came to the table only slightly kissed by heat and swimming on the inside. I guess he didn't hear the request. Overall top notch spot with outside and upstairs seating. A definite spot to visit.

    $1.50/oyster special

I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong. Ok, I'm not. But when someone calls me on it, I'm going to own it. I swore up and down, back and forth I would NEVER step foot in here again after our last experience, under its previous ownership. Tonight, with the help of $1.50 oysters on special, my husband convinced me to give the new kids on the block a shot. We live in the neighborhood and it's incredibly convenient so I caved, mostly so I could say "I told you so." Yall. I cannot. What a fantastically different experience. The staff AND ownership were polite, attentive, and kept their hands to themselves. Everyone, like literally everyone, in the place was having a good time. No drunk, miserable mouths running anywhere. All smiles, anywhere you looked. Our food was so good. The oysters were clean and shucked perfectly. The mignonette was delicious. I would've loved some extra horseradish for the cocktail but it was fine without. My husband ordered the grilled romaine salad special with steak, cooked exactly how he asked. I had the spinach salad with salmon and I would very much like to eat this salad, with rotating proteins, on a regular basis. We're really looking forward to being able to include Ellie's in our regular rotation. If you haven't been, especially if you haven't because you're avoiding it because of she who won't be named, please go. I promise you will be pleasantly surprised.

Hesitant to go to this place since it was rebranded but it was nicely decorated and seemed to always have a crowd. They give us a table upstairs which was okay but they also put all the children upstairs so it was kind of loud until they left. The food was satisfactory. The chicken sandwich was definitely the main order coming out of the kitchen so I also ordered it. It was good but the chipotle aioli was a little spicier than I personally would have liked. Service was also a little slow but they were busy. The highlight was the bar. Drinks were refreshing and tasty.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy, so we had about a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. We ordered the G&G Country Scramble, Sweet Baby Jesus, Cap'n Crunch French Toast, and the spicy crab, tomato, and pepper jack dish. The menu definitely has a Southern-style Maryland feel with things like crab, biscuits and gravy, and grits throughout. Portions are huge, and the food was rich, comforting, and very filling. We absolutely needed a nap afterward. The Cap'n Crunch French Toast was perfect to share for the table. I recommend eating it first while it is still crispy on the outside. Our table favorite was the G&G Country Scramble, followed closely by the Sweet Baby Jesus. I also tried the homemade lemonade and it was delicious. Service was great and the whole place had a warm, family-style atmosphere. One helpful thing to note, a 20% gratuity is automatically included on bills over $50, and they do not split checks.
