Nashville Chicken Sliders with mashed potatoes
    Jacqueline A.

The food here was absolutely terrible. The servers are nice, but I certainly will not be returning due to poor execution of temperature by the kitchen and everything coming out horrid in taste. I have never eaten somewhere and been offered a substitute for everything that came out. The deviled eggs have crushed potato chips on top with a balsamic drizzle and the flavor once you bite down was a salty, wet mess lol. I bit into my burger and realized it was partially rare when I asked for medium. Ahi tuna tacos - extremely salty with sauce that didn't pair well on top. The macaroni and cheese was the only thing OK. This is a place you come to for drinks.. drinks only. Good luck.

BBQ Platter - Pick Two - pork belly and brisket with mac & cheese

Meh. Overpriced. I've been wanting to try Southern Provisions for a while and it was just kind of meh. The service was really good. Our server was attentive and pleasant. My friend and I shared a Caesar salad which was decent but nothing to write home about. She had the Mac and cheese with brisket and I did the pick two with brisket, pork belly and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very basic - it honestly tasted like boxed Mac and cheese. The brisket was very bland but was okay with the provided bbq sauce. I did like the pork belly. It had an interesting flavor profile. I don't think we'll be coming back to Southern Provisions, at least not for the food.

Really nice space they have a large inside space with plenty of TVs. they also have a large tent coveted outdoor space. The bar tender that served us was very friendly and poured a very good drink. Can't say that about all bar/restaurants in Canton Square. Definitely will be back

I came here for happy hour on a rainy Friday night. The drink prices were great. I didn't order food but I've heard great things before. Also, the service was good, I think if you are cheap drinks and a calmer happy hour this place is good. It might have been because of the rain but the restaurant was pretty empty.

This brunch is so good! They updated their menu and it's a really great upgrade. Highly recommend the Nashville chicken waffle sandwich. They also serve giant mimosas that are very delicious and refreshing. Really nice summer vibes when they can open up the garage door front. Been back multiple times for this brunch

Picked up takeout on a semi warm winter day and it was super easy! Ordered online and food was brought to the side door. They didn't give us napkins or anything in the bag so had to go back for that which wasn't an issue but would have been nice to have have been included. I got the southern burger which was cooked perfectly medium and so flavorful! The fries were crispy just like I like them so no complaints about the food at all! With a going on I honestly prefer when I can order online and pickup opposed to calling in an order but maybe that's the millennial in me

Yelp Fam!!!! I'm back with another review of a Canton favorite. As a whiskey Fan, Enthusiast & consumer SP provides many varieties of whiskey to try. I took advantage of that and had a Manhattan! Our server was very helpful and nice. The whole staff checked on us several times during the happy hour to make sure we were good. We ordered Manhattan- tasty Beers Wine Brisket French dip - was a generous portion of brisket it will need some of the delicious BBQ sauce they have to take it to the next level Fries- hot and crispy Overall this experience & the whiskey selection will definitely have me sitting in the bar again for happy hour!!!!

This was my first visit here. I ordered my burger over the phone since the kitchen closes at 11pm and it was 10:45, I asked for no cheese and to add carmelized onions & tomato. When I picked up my food I checked it at the bar counter, there was no tomato or carmelized onions. The kitchen staff was already gone when I got there a little after 11 so I couldn't get any carmelized onions but I was given the tomatoes on the side to add. I'm going to come back for dine in and I'll update my review after that experience. I do have a suggestion to add, dill pickles for the burgers/sandwiches should be an option. Not everyone likes bread & butter pickles, having dill as an option as well would be lovely.

Pimento Mac and Cheese Spring Rolls

MAC-N-CHEESE Spring Roll is a MUST TRY. Literally, absolutely AMAZING. Honestly, the greatest way to combine two comfort foods. My last day in Baltimore- some colleagues and I met here for our last friend lunch. We order the Mac-n-Cheese spring rolls for our starter. Let's just say we were all beyond impressed! So, hot and fresh and crunchy and cheeses and just damn good! The dipping sauce was so good. For my meal I ordered the BLT and potato salad. The BLT was not a normal BLT. It was loaded with bacon cooked in some sweet, savory, and spicy glaze. The tomato was a deep fried green tomato. The entire sandwich was PERFECT. I finished every bite. The potato salad...... yeah. Um. Never again - the only reason I cannot give all five stars. Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience. I strongly recommend!

    Upstairs event space

If you're looking for a private space to rent for an event, I highly recommend Southern Provisions. I had trouble finding a space around the city to host about 40-50 people for my friend's 30th birthday party. From unanswered emails, pricy minimums, unavailability, the process became quite frustrating. Jodie, the GM, answered my request right away and was very responsive throughout the party planning. I stopped by one random night to scope out the upstairs event space and without hesitation the manager, Andrew (aka Tomato), kindly showed me around. The space is full of fun, colorful decorations and lights, has its own bathroom, multiple TVs, a projector screen, and private bar. I even had the option of connecting to their sound system and playing music for the night. It was $200 to reserve the space from 7-10pm which went towards our minimum. The night of the party, we were allowed to arrive at 6pm to set up. The bartenders, Chelsea and Stephen, and the manager, George, were there to greet us. They were extremely helpful and took the time to hang decorations and help rearrange chairs and tables. We opted for the buffet style option for food and had a cash bar. All of the food was delicious and gone by the end of the party. We danced, sang, and cried (when the Ravens lost to the Titans). Nonetheless, it was a wonderful party. Thank you Southern Provisions for your hospitality and great service. The party was a hit.

Cool little bar. The food was better than I expected. I had the Deviled eggs and Chicken sliders, my friend had the wings. It was ladies night so they had half off drinks and also a DJ. Our bartender, Steve was cool too

A great place to go to for happy hour. They have a great variety of drink and food specials Monday thru Friday until 7pm. I can't remember what time the happy hour starts but I think it's at 4pm. I had a Kona draft beer which was 4$ on the Happy hour menu and got their Mac n cheese egg rolls for 7$. The Mac n cheese egg rolls were really good, and the sauce given for dipping had a little kick to it. We came on a rainy Friday night and it was pretty empty though, so I don't recommend coming here then if you're looking for a place with a lot of people and a good vibe. Will definitely be back again to enjoy the happy hour, and is a great spot to start off your night at.

The Cannon Room is a small cocktail bar tucked away in the back of The Pendry and is easily one of my favorite places to grab a drink in Fells Point. Only open after 5pm, it makes for a perfect predinner stop, especially if you are a bourbon fan. Their bourbon selection is seriously impressive, with everything from approachable pours to rare bottles that climb well into the triple digits. They also offer curated bourbon flights that change depending on availability, which is a great way to try something new. The decor deserves just as much attention as the drinks. The room is filled with warm wood accents and subtle Baltimore nautical theming that gives the space a really immersive feel. The centerpiece is the historic cannon that was dredged up from the harbor during construction of the hotel and is now displayed beneath the floor as you enter the bar. Service has always been 10/10. The bartenders clearly take pride in the craft of making cocktails and have the bourbon knowledge to back up the impressive bottle collection. Overall, the Cannon Room is a must stop while visiting Baltimore and an especially easy recommendation for bourbon lovers exploring Fells Point.

For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then I had the scallops, and this is where they really won me over. Perfectly cooked, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth... just one of those dishes you don't want to end. The whole experience felt elevated without being stuffy -- gorgeous waterfront vibes, amazing service, and food and drinks that actually deliver. This is a SERVICE review:…read more I recently visited Bygone in Baltimore for a friend's birthday celebration, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing--especially as a pregnant guest. First, I shall say that the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL and the skyline is breathtaking. Now, moving on to my experience: I looked over the menu hoping to find something I could safely eat, but very few options were appetizing to me. The crab dip sounded like something I could enjoy, so I asked the bar waiter if it could be prepared without the alcohol. I was told that it could not because it was premade. Once our party was seated, I ended up eating bread and butter. Later, my friend ordered the mac and cheese and encouraged me to try it. Because I'm pregnant, I asked our waitress a very specific question: Was the cheese used in the dish pasteurized? She said she would check with the kitchen. About 10 minutes passed, and I eventually had to flag her down. She came back and told me the cheese was "fresh." I explained that "fresh" was not what I had asked and repeated my question. She then said she would speak with the chef. While waiting, I was hungry and tasted some of the cheese sauce. The chef eventually came out with the waitress and told me that the cheese was safe. I clarified again: "I'm pregnant. I can only have pasteurized cheese. Is this cheese pasteurized?" His response was essentially, "No, but it's fresh and safe." At that point, I was honestly mortified and extremely uncomfortable. I had to excuse myself from the table because I was so upset. This was not about being difficult or expecting the restaurant to create an entirely new menu for me. I simply wanted a clear and accurate answer about whether something contained pasteurized cheese so I could make an informed decision about what to eat. My friend advocated for me and explained to management that the menu felt particularly limiting for someone who is pregnant. Benjamin, the manager, came over and spoke with us. He explained that many of the menu items contain some form of alcohol or non-pasteurized/aged cheese. He did try to accommodate me by offering a well-done salmon with salt and pepper and summer beans or red meat with no sauce, which I appreciate; however, it was quite late and those options did not feel appetizing for me. He also gave us his card and told me that I could come back in the future and order whatever I wanted since I did not make a choice. I do appreciate Benjamin taking the time to come speak with us and trying to find an alternative. However, the interaction with the waitress and chef left me feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable during what was supposed to be a celebration for my friend. For me, the biggest issue was not that the restaurant didn't have many options I could eat--it was that my very specific food-safety question was not answered clearly or accurately when I asked it multiple times. If a pregnant guest asks whether a cheese is pasteurized, "fresh" is not an answer to that question. I hope Bygone takes this as an opportunity to better educate staff on how to handle dietary and food-safety questions, particularly from pregnant guests. I would have been much more understanding if someone had simply said, "Let me verify that with the chef," and returned with a clear answer. I appreciate the manager's effort to make things right, but unfortunately, the experience still left an unpleasant impression on me.
