Tiramisu to go, not nearly as impressive as when you eat in

I frequently stay at one of the two Hilton properties that are right behind this restaurant. Although I have never actually eaten in the restaurant, have ordered takeout a few times. Each time I have been disappointed and I think I have learned my lesson after this time. The takeout portions are extremely small and the dessert was very underwhelming. Check your takeout order before you leave because they left out my dessert on this order and they left out my garlic bread on my last order.

It's basically Olive Garden but they add $10 more per dish. Food is fine but nothing exemplary and the prices are basically rip off level for the portions you receive. Our server was friendly and attentive but there's only so much she can do with a restaurant this sterile.

Great and great service! We reserved at the Château in Franklin for Mother's Day. I misjudged the number in our party and the team was very accommodating to adjust the seating so we could all sit and eat comfortably. There were nine in our party and we all enjoyed our meals you've got to try their cannolis!

Toasted raviolis came with no lid so sauce spilled everywhere and were soggy.

Ordered take out and got a veal parm with penne, chicken parm with angel hair and toasted ravioli appetizer. My mom liked the veal parm but I didn't enjoy my chicken parm at all. The sauce was horribly sour, I could only have a couple bites despite being hungry for my dinner. I had horrible heartburn from the sauce immediately. I took the toasted raviolis out of the bag and opened the container and the dipping sauce was all over the raviolis making a few of them soggy. No lid to be found for the dipping sauce. I wouldn't order here again! I have had much better meals at their original Waltham location.

I have been to this location a few times now and they have never disappointed me. It is clean, the staff are friendly and the food is really good. I particularly like that there is numerous seafood items with choices that aren't all fried. Tonight my sister and I decided to dine in, it had been awhile and she was craving a meatball. We both like the style of bread. I prefer warm roles, but this is somewhat traditional and the butter is soft. She got the kids spaghetti and meatball. This is a generous sized dish. I got the broiled haddock with baked stuffed shrimp. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a nice buttery flavor. The shrimp were delicious, the stuffing was great and they weren't dry. My sides were squash and mashed potatoes, also delicious! My sis had a pudding style dessert and the overall experience was great!

    Metal in my chicken

The food is generally good. However, the last time we went for dine in, there was glass in my mashed potatoes. Manager apologized and offered me new mashed potatoes. I declined. We ordered on Uber eats this week. The chicken broccoli ziti has metal in it. It could be a staple, not sure but it was stuck to a piece of chicken I put in my mouth. I will never return. If you like to eat glass or metal, this place is for you!

The place is huge and each room decorated just a bit differently. We enjoyed looking at the murals and the photos on the walls. Our waitress, Donna, was fantastic and very attentive. She brought us sourdough, another type of bread and an oil mixture when we were first seated. They had about ten dinner specials the night we were there, all sounded good. I ended up sticking to the regular menu and ordered pollo alla scarpariello. It was very tasty and huge. I brought at least half home with me to eat the next day. My husband ordered the halibut special. He said it was really delicious. My son ordered the bolognese, which he ate but didn't care for the creaminess of it. One thing I will note is that I wish they had a better selection of wines by the glass. They had a great list of bottles of wines including some super Tuscans , which I love. The wines by the glass list was lacking though. I was the only one at the table drinking wine so I wasn't going to order a bottle. Overall a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.

My substantial bone-in pork chop (special) with vinegar peppers & roasted potatoes was topped with a grilled fennel sausage and was juicy and delicious. My meal was preceded by a house salad with blue cheese dressing--nothing extravagant, but solidly above average. My dessert selection was the affogato and hit the spot! It was a little non traditional but very tasty! The table setting was well appointed and the old world classic vibe of the restaurant itself is soothing and elegant. I'll be back for other special occasions!

The portions are good and the prices are reasonable compared to other places in the area. They still give a salad or soup with many of the dinners, and serve nice Italian bread with butter and olive oil. If your try this place and like what you got, chances are very good you will like it the next time because they are consistent. The only thing that occasionally varied is the steak tips. I chalk this up to being hard to determine in the kitchen, because until you cut into the steak, you may not know if it contains a lot of fat and nerve. All the waitresses are awesome. For example, on our recent visit there was a man with 4 small kids by himself. One of the children, who was very young, was really loud. The guy was trying to do what he could to keep the noise under control. I watched what was going on, and the waitress for the table (Dee who is absolutely awesome), another waitress, and even the woman who greet you and assigns a table all were going over and being nice and trying to help the guy out. That is really awesome and something I have never seen anywhere. To The Rome owners, management, and staff: Please keep doing things right. We made a quick stop at La Familia after spending the afternoon at Jane D'Amico Playground, and it was hands down the best decision we made. Everything about our visit was phenomenal: Food: I ordered the mussels in white wine sauce. My son got the chicken parm, and he hasn't stopped raving about it. She went above and beyond by bringing my son paper so he could draw while we waited. Speaking of waiting... the food came out super fast! Bonus: They do NOT play around with their bread portions. Big, fresh, WARM, and generous. You gotta love a place that knows the key to a happy heart is extra bread. We left feeling so grateful, full, and taken care of. The interior is inviting with a large dining room, and the hostess was welcoming right away. Service stood out--attentive, consistent, and professional throughout the meal. The menu is extensive, almost to a fault, but it works in your favor if you're indecisive. They were out of one of the surf and turf specials, but with so many options it wasn't an issue. Drinks were well done--the spring sangria was a highlight and worth ordering again. We started with bread and truffle-style fries. The fries were overcooked and a bit too hard, but still flavorful and a generous portion. For mains, the short rib was pretty good and well-prepared. The chicken and broccoli leaned a little heavy on the garlic but was still enjoyable. Steak tips looked solid, and the fish and chips were another strong dish. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but for the amount of food and variety, it felt reasonable overall. In the end, not a bad spot at all for a suburban restaurant. A few minor misses, but plenty of positives. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
