I tried using the contact form on the website, which was broken. (I will update the star rating…read morewhen this concern is addressed.) My questions are: Primarily where do you get your milk? Are the dairy farms from which you get your milk humane certified? Are the cows treated with hormones? I think this information would be valuable to the consumer; my choice to consume your product is entirely dependent upon the level of the welfare of the animals from which you get your milk, and I think this information should appear on your website. Thank you for your time.

The company itself makes pretty decent cheese. This particular review is on their Brie...eh echm,…read morelets begin...I am really trying to like Brie, maybe because of the hype or maybe because I love me some cheese. I was excited to get a wedge and let it get to room temp while I cut all manner of fruit to have my first taste of Brie. In Culinary School we ate many different cheeses and rated them...a full spectrum of cheeses was at our munching pleasure....except Brie...? odd. But now I believe I know why it was not there. First it smells like a storage shed made of concrete with too much moisture. I tried it alone and it has a creamy texture that was nice but the shed smell is now in my mouth. Kiwi, Star fruit, Honeydew, strawberries, green grapes all unimpressive. So still trying to like Brie I chopped the ole faithful yellow apple which made it palatable, but then the apple usually does...I mean throw shredded cheddar on warm apple pie and go to heaven. I digress, Brie is not the cheese for me and I would not recommend it to anyone else, don't waste your money. Besides the shed taste and smell it is full of disappointment...and I can eat the ass end of cheese. Crumble some Gorgonzola on a homemade pizza and I'll be over but you serve Brie and I'll take the rain check.

My mom was able to redeem the promotion of "finish the punch card, get a free item". I don't remember what the stipulations of those cards are but she uses them every time she comes in, so if you think you could become a regular, I would recommend one. If you enjoy cooking and experimenting im the kitchen, this is a fun place to visit to help you do just that. I've come here dozens of times over the years, both with my mom and with my best friend, and Olive Cart has never disappointed. They still have Covid measures going so don't forget your mask when visiting here, or downtown in general. Some stores are allowing vaccinated people not to and others aren't so it's best to keep them handy like we have been.

The truffle and chipotle avocado oils were really good. The aged balsamic, truffle balsamic and smokehouse balsamic were tasty. Along with the avocado oils and balsamics we bought after trying them the cheesy bacon, habanero garlic heat and Parmesan artichoke blend for the oils or cream cheese. Can't wait to try them all out on top of fries, marinaded in chickens, mixed in with salads, as dips with crackers and blended into cheese balls and on top of portabella mushrooms. Mmm. Come on Fridays, it's 25% off. Tuesdays they give you two stamps for each bottle purchase. You get nothing on a Saturday. Fill the card and it gets you a bottle for free.

Their prices are a little on the high end (I can't ever seem to leave spending less than $50) which I would expect from the smaller size company, but that does not deter me. This particular location has their products organized somewhat strange from what I am used to. Take for example, trash bags. Most other stores would place these in the paper good section which would be by the toilet paper / paper towels. In this store they are located in the "Picnic Goods" section which is over by frozen foods section. Again, this is not enough to deter me, but it does cause my trips to this store to take a little longer as I have to walk up and down looking at what is in each aisle. If I had to pick one thing about this location that needs to improve it is their checkouts. More often than not, I find that the lines are long and it takes me 10+ minutes to checkout. My favorite thing about this (and all Martin's) is their produce / meat. Nobody in the area can touch them on their quality. Quite often, my wife and I will buy our can goods from one store and the rest from Martin's because it is worth the extra trip.

Too many cost reductions. I sent feedback to the link and got some cold a spartan nash manager has been told. That was a month ago.

Both my husband and I love their french bread pizzas as my husband has been eating them since he was a kid. We will most likely be making this Aldi our regular grocery shopping place or at least until the location in Stevensville opens. The biggest con of Aldis is still that they tend to only have one cashier at any given time. That can allow for long lines but for me it is worth it. The checkout cashier referred to me as "young lady ". apparently she is unaware of how offensive the reference is. Using that phrase is ageist and what gerontologists call "elderspeak" which is full of condescension and very patronizing. This hasn't happened frequently so when it does, I usually just smile and move on. She called me that twice, apparently thinking she is on top of things. I haven't decided if I will say something to her if it this happens again or if I should just avoid her line. I do wonder though if she knows how rude she is being. frustrated in Michigan, Carrie T
