The food truck came to our work building, and I do like to try grilled sandwiches that aren't your typical grilled cheese sandwiches. I got the Sweet Baby Ray's which came with ham and bbq sauce. I really enjoyed the bbq sauce with it. It was grilled well; the bread had great texture. Would definitely try another one.

Yum!! And the guy at the counter was happy to split the sandwich into 2 plates - unexpected for this kind of place. The food was fantastic and made us forget about the seating situation outside the market.

I ate at The Cheese Pit during a trip to the Fremont Sunday Market. The staff were welcoming and pleasant to interact with. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long to receive my order, as it was raining with no available covered areas. I ordered the Turkey Bliss, which was good overall, but the quantity of ingredients in it made it very messy to eat. My hand was covered in oil and sauce by the end of it. And it was a bit pricey for a grilled cheese sandwich... after tip/tax it was around $16.

super friendly staff, super nice, as well patient despite having to work out in rainy cold weather (went during an event) had a few options for various grilled cheeses including vegan options, & had some options for drinks & sides to go along. we got the normal grilled cheese, & it was the most amazing, melt in mouth worthy grilled cheese. not to cheesy, not hard bread, fresh tasting, & not greasy / super buttery : all the perfect components - it felt like it was made with much love & heart ! 100/10 would recommend, & would love to try more from them !

I don't actively seek out grilled cheeses but every time I see them on social media, I want to drool a bit. The Cheese Pit really hit the spot and satisfied those cravings. The cheese pull was not as exciting as I've seen, but the taste was mouthwatering. We got The Old Skool and Meat Luvva's. The Old Skool - a fantastic, basic grilled cheese on sourdough which is key. Cheese pull was weak here but loved each bite. Meat Luvva's - this was surprisingly filling, but I should've expected that with all the meat. A sweetness accompanied each bite due to the honey mustard which could be disguised as maple syrup if I was blind folded and only had one bite. It was pretty sweet. Each bite was full of meat so they did not skimp nor layer poorly.

I have been so looking forward to trying out this food truck. They update their locations on FB page. This time around it was a place that was near to me and I couldn't miss. We reached them at South Lake Union Saturday market with many other good eats food truck. Reached their as early as we could to avoid traffic. Got parking after a while and rushed to the truck. We ordered their:- The pepper bomb - OMG! It was bomb be it in flavor and spiciness. The sauce that they apply to the sandwich pairs so beautifully with the hotness from the jalapenos. Soft sourdough bread with melted cheese sweet tangy sauce and spicy jalapenos. I was in heaven. My husband who is not a cheese person, (I know, how could he not, hehe) loved grilled cheese for the first time ever. It was that good. The quantity for the price is less, but what they gave was worth the price. Cant wait to visit them again when they are nearby.

Food is maybe 3.5 stars but the 45+ minute wait for 1 sandwich at 1230 seems like either poor planning or bad service.

Perfect for a cold winter day. Lots of flavor without all the saltiness! Go for the turkey bliss :)

Great food. The turkey bacon cheese sandwich is great. Always enjoy eating here when I can find the truck.

this included a trip to the breakfast bar - where i was able to load up with butter, whipped cream,…read morestrawberries, and a couple other fruits also came with a cup of syrup Whew - so this was a sugary rush. I don't know if I've ever consumed so much sugar in as short of a time period as I did here On each piece (that already came with powdered sugar) I spread whipped cream, poured syrup, and ate with butter Being french toast itself has some strong built in advantages - so I can really only compare this against other french toast So while I do wish there was something more solid with this meal - I did know what I was ordering going in The portion size was really good - there were three pretty decent-sized pieces of bread Each piece had an interior that was nice and fluffy but a bit too airy for me - I would've prefered a more solid interior of the bread Eating the toast didn't feel like you were eating something with weight behind it - it felt light - even though the three slices added up to make you full Going off that, the outside of the bread was pretty soft as well - I would've liked it to be more crispy As for the toppings - I thought the syrup was quite good - it complemented the top side of the bread in a nice way Similarly, the whipped cream added a pretty good flavor to the top. It also helped a good amount with the strawberries The butter I'm not sure on. It was hard to spread given the softness of the toast - and I could see that any attempt to spread it would result in the toast breaking apart. Eventually I decided to break off small pieces of butter and eat them at the same time as my toast bite.

I came here for brunch over Valentine's Day weekend. I usually visit the Ballard or SLU locations,…read moreso this was my first time at this particular spot. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated shortly after arriving, which I appreciated. My partner ordered the Vegan Banana Pancakes with a side of potatoes, and I had the Rancher's Breakfast with French toast. Overall, the food was good, but I was really disappointed with the French toast -- it was soggy and not what I expected. Everything else was solid. The service was decent, but when we asked questions about the menu, our server didn't seem very familiar with it, which made ordering a bit less smooth. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere didn't feel as clean or inviting as the Ballard and SLU locations, and that impacted the experience for me. Because of that, I probably wouldn't return to this location, though I'd still visit the others.
