The waitress Chloe was very helpful . We ordered a Teriyaki katsu which I did not care for. The mayo was too spicy. Then I went ahead and got a delicious kids pasta and butter. I liked the house salad . Soda is expensive.

It's my second time visiting the Cheesecake Factory and it was a good experience! Came here for lunch and got the chicken Alfredo. This was delicious! Finished it all. Also got my choice of a cheesecake slice (mango key lime) since they are offering a free slice with the app this month. I like mango and key lime so I decided to try it but when they brought it out I was super surprised with how HUGE it was. Now I know why it's 1300 calories....it comes with a bunch of whipped cream and the bottom of the crust has coconut flakes. It's good for the first few bites but it's really sweet. Server was friendly and was able to explain how to redeem my cheesecake. Although there were a bunch of people at the restaurant, it didn't seem crowded because they have tall ceilings. I like the architecture and was able to get some work done on my computer too.

Valetine's Day 2026 was bitter sweet! Sweet...lovely day of surprises to and from my hubby...flowers, heart shaped donuts, Valentine's cards and dinner at the Cheesecake factory. Bitter...one my hubby's close colleagues unexpectedly passed away on Friday. While at dinner, a close friend of mine texted me to call her. I told her I was at dinner, was it an emergency? She said she had some sad news. My heart immediately sank. For her to reach out to me on Valentine's Day, it had to be serious. When I called her she told me that a close friend of ours was killed by her boyfriend and her boyfriend then killed himself. I was absolutely shook! You never expect something like this to happen to someone you actually know. We immediately prayed for their families. Needless to say, that put a damper on dinner. It caused me to contemplate life and its fragility. The restaurant...we arrived at Cheesecake Factory at 6:10 hoping that getting there early we could get in straightaway. This was not an original idea as when we arrived there was a 50-minute wait. Cheesecake Factory does not take reservations. Fortunately, for us it was not as long as the folks that came after us as they had a wait of one and half hours. They took my cell phone number and said they would text us when our table was ready. In the meantime, we went next door to GameStop and Barnes & Noble bookstore to poke around until we received the magic ping from their text. Our table was ready. We were seated in a two-person booth in a cozy corner of the restaurant. We are lifting the families in prayer My hubby ordered Cajun salmon with mashed potatoes and corn. I ordered herb crusted salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We both had large pieces of salmon and generous portions of vegetables. The mashed potatoes had the potatoes skins included but were light, buttery and hearty. The salmon was thick, flavorful and served hot. We were pleased our meals. Last night, the food was exceptional. How can you come to Cheesecake Factory and not get cheesecake? We shared the Turtle cheesecake. We only had a couple of bites as were very full. Overall, the food was excellent. A bitter sweet evening indeed...

We waited for a host to seat us and they were not busy at all. Disappointing visit. It took a very long time for our orders to come out, especially over a lunch hour on a work day. My chicken parm sandwich came out with charred ends and it was maybe 5-10 minutes before our waiter checked on us again for me to bring this to their attention. They took that back, after about a 15 minute wait I got my new sandwich which was perfect. But! Lunch time is over and I had to take it to go. No comp, no nothing. Not even a check on me with the new sandwich. Very sad tat this particular restaurant doesn't seem to take the time for it's customers nor does it seem to invest in customer service as a priority. We paid our bill and left. Only to return for cheese cake to go. Never for a sit down meal again.

So many to choose from. Can never go wrong with any choice

I needed a little something between jobs. I had just enough time to eat in my car and get to my other job. I love their avocado rolls, I get them pretty much every time I come here. I think I inhaled them, but from what I remember, they were warm, creamy, and a little light crispy. I did have a few left over, so I was able to finish them off with my breakfast the next day. Great service as always. To go counter was quick and easy.

It's been over 10 years since we've been back to Cheesecake Factory. The atmosphere has not changed and the portions are just huge alike I remember. We came during happy hour and had a chance to try a few items from their happy hour menu. Their main menu is quite extensive and a good selection of kids menu as well. It took us at least 5-10 mins to browse through all their menus. We really liked the avocado eggrolls (5/5) and the fried calamari (5/5). The Roadside sliders (3.5/5) were tasty but a bit too oily for our taste buds. Happy hour menu offers a good selection of cocktails. We had the Whiskey Smash (3/5) which was on the sweet side. Alcohol used was also bad. I would skip this. We wrapped up dinner with the lemon meringue cheesecake. I enjoyed the tartness but overall a very sweet dessert. Overall it was a very satisfying meal which was elevated by the wonderful service from our waiter. We're glad to give Cheesecake another try and probably will come back to try a few other items on their regular menu.

Back for more! The skinnilicious menu is my favorite, hands down. I had the grilled salmon and ventured out and had a cheesecake with some cappuccino. Everything is always so good here. My son got the Korean chicken which was super delicious! Such a nice weekend wrapping thing up at the cheesecake factory. Be back for more again soon.

We were greeted by the host and told to wait ~15 minutes for a party of 7 on a weekday night. It took a while for our server to bring us the bread even after being asked. She seemed uninterested in taking orders and borderline rude when asked questions, which ruined the dining experience. The food was decent, as usual. We ordered tamale corn cakes, chicken shawarma wraps, vegetarian tacos, tomato basil flatbread pizza, all of which were tasty, no complaints there. Finished off with a cheesecake slice of course. Tried the godiva slice this time, it was too chocolatey and slightly bitter for my taste so I'll stick with my favorite mango flavor for next time.

Came here to celebrate a birthday for one of my children. We made reservations about a month in advance and they did not disappoint. We absolutely love their fried Mac and cheese balls with the marinara sauce. It's a family favorite. We ordered two of those. So satisfying and full of flavor. I ordered their Grilled Salmon from the SkinnyLicious menu. It was quite satisfying and met my expectations. I shared my carrots with my spouse, since it was more than I was wanting. It's a big restaurant, but the way the seats are set up with the tall glass, you get a sense of privacy and that was perfect. Our serve was excellent and pleasant. Nice treat once in while.

Went for my son's 21st birthday dinner per his request. The menu has lots of options from many different cultures so there's something for just about every appetite. The vibe is always cool and casual. Service is good. There were several parties celebrating birthdays so the server was busy. He did pretty well keeping our glasses full and checking in. I had the pizza style chicken Parmesan which was surprisingly good. We shared the Mac & cheese bites. Ordered the celebration cheesecake to go. The server added a nice touch by bringing out an hot fudge sundae served in a little cute glass with a candle. Although there are a lot of choices on the menu deciding what to get is a bit of a challenge.

My daughter and I stopped in here last week on a day we were running errands for back to school. They still have the big menu but it's a bit easier to navigate with the categories. I got their beet salad and she got their sliders. Their bread is always so good and irresistible and even though I'm attempting to beon a low carb diet, I had to have some! We were able to get seated quickly in the bar area and parking was easy in the Arboretum. The service did take a bit longer as it looked like our waitress was also the bartender. The longest wait was to get my credit card back after payment so other than that everything was good.

    Louisiana Chicken Pasta
    Brooke D.

Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner the other night and had such a nice experience! I hadn't been to a Cheesecake Factory in years and I was super happy with the food we ordered as well as the service. We ended up sitting at the bar since it was so busy but our bartender was a great server. I ordered the Louisiana chicken pasta and oh my gosh it was massive. I ended up getting three meals out of this one serving. I substituted the bow tie pasta for fettuccine and thought it was super good but I think it absorbed most of the sauce so my dish really wasn't that saucey. My boyfriend got the bang bang chicken and shrimp and the bite I had was very good! We also got a slice of the lemon raspberry cheesecake which was delicious. Overall I had zero complaints and we agreed that we will be coming back soon :)

    Cajun Jambalaya pasta

Had Jambalaya and Carbonara here. Both pasta dishes were pretty decent, except Carbonara was a little blend on the noodle so had to scoop up the sauce with the spoon with every bite.

I chose the fresh burrito to avoid simple carbs. The food was a bit mild in flavor, so I asked for salsa. They have a delicious homemade habanero salsa that's bursting with flavor, and I especially appreciated that it wasn't smoky. That salsa alone earns five stars from me! Perfect Birthday Celebration at Roaring Fork!…read more On Sunday I celebrated my birthday at Roaring Fork with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Between the exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and attentive service, it was the perfect birthday celebration. I highly recommend Roaring Fork for a special occasion or a relaxing Sunday meal with family and friends.

And they picked the most perfect table that was tucked away in its own little private area but you could still see everything that was going on in the restaurant. Chef's kiss! Our server was so friendly and fun and everything came out at the right time and on time. It's Italian so of course I ordered a red wine, Cabernet to be exact. We ordered a few shareable bites for the table and I really enjoyed the bruschetta and the meatballs! For dinner I had the butter lettuce salad (so good!) and then a butternut squash ravioli that was absolutely amazing. I would order that again and again and again but... There are way too many delicious options to get the same thing every time you go. Everyone ordered something different and everyone had the same reaction. Delicious! I cannot wait to return and try more things off of the menu. Note, it's always best to make a reservation but keep in mind they also have a full bar with seating around the bar. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try and make sure you're hungry when you go because there's so many delicious menu items to choose from.

Review for Juliette's Restaurant - Arboretum Location…read more On August 7, 2026, my husband and I visited Juliette's in the Arboretum, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food itself was just alright -- nothing memorable or worth praising -- but the real issue was the environment and how we were made to feel. We were seated in a secluded area of the restaurant, noticeably apart from the main dining space. As the evening went on, we saw that nearly all the guests being ushered into the main area were Caucasian, while we remained the only minority couple placed off to the side. It was hard not to feel singled out. Our primary waitress was wonderful -- kind, attentive, and professional. However, when another staff member brought out our food, she looked at us and said, "Why you all hiding?" My husband almost responded, but I stopped him. She did not know that her comment hit a sore spot, especially when we didn't choose to be seated away from everyone else. As more guests arrived, the pattern continued: they were guided to the main dining area while we remained isolated. The entire experience felt discriminatory, and it left us with the impression that we were not "good enough" for the rest of the restaurant. My husband still left a generous tip because we believe in treating service staff fairly -- regardless of how we are treated. We will not be returning to this location. Perhaps the Barton Springs restaurant is different, but the Arboretum site left us feeling unwelcome. Even the promotional photos for this location show no minority representation, which sadly aligns with how we were made to feel. I do not recommend this restaurant at this site.

This isn't necessarily an every-week dinner for us price-wise--hibachi can definitely be a splurge--but if we could justify going every week, we absolutely would. It is hands-down some of the best hibachi I've ever had. And hibachi seems simple enough: great meat, fried rice, fresh vegetables, sauces. But when it's done REALLY well, apparently there is a huge difference, because Japon has completely ruined mediocre hibachi for me. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the meat is always cooked beautifully, the vegetables are perfect, the rice is ridiculous, and I could probably consume an irresponsible amount of their sauces. The food is actually so good that it inspired me to start buying fresh vegetables, good meat, rice, yum yum sauce and sriracha and making my own little version at home. It isn't Japon, obviously, but that's how much we love this food. What really deserves recognition, though, is their consistency. We've visited both locations, they've been absolutely SLAMMED, and somehow the service is still exceptional. We've never sat around forever waiting to be acknowledged or wondering where our server went. The staff is attentive, friendly and efficient every single time we've gone. The atmosphere at both locations is beautiful and lively, and of course there's the whole experience of watching your meal prepared right in front of you. Even the little details make it feel like a complete dining experience--from sitting down with a cold Topo Chico and fresh lemon to the little orange treat at the end. It's one of those restaurants where you leave already thinking about the next time you can justify going back. Yes, dinner for two can turn into a splurge. But we've never walked out feeling like the experience wasn't worth it. The quality of the food, atmosphere and consistently excellent service keeps us coming back. If you're craving hibachi in Austin, Sushi Japon is absolutely worth trying. Both locations have been fantastic for us. 10/10. If my budget had its way, we'd be regulars. If my stomach had its way, we'd live there.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess said that she didn't have the reso on her end; rather than apologizing or making a single effort to fix the issue, she just stared at us. We had to prompt her for clarification and next steps, and had to continue to prompt her through the process of getting us sat. When we finally sat down at a regular table, we waited about 15 minutes without a server coming by. I eventually flagged a server down, and we got our order under way. We requested the manager stop by to tell him about the issue with the reservation and the fact that his hostess needs additional training, and surprise, the manager was also not helpful. He did apologize for our reservation being lost, but blamed it on the system and denied any responsibility for taking care of it - basically just told us that "life is life". He did not offer a discount or any kind of relief for the setbacks or bad service. I wasn't expecting the world or anything, but good hospitality dictates that you do more that basically tell us to just deal with it. For the food: the sushi was pretty gnarly - it looked like somebody was angry at the fish when they were slicing. Most things needed salt. Steak and fried rice was good, but the vegetables were pretty much raw. I can forgive quite a bit when it comes to service, especially on graduation/mother's day weekend. But honestly I'm a little impressed at how little the entire staff cared about their guests.

When I arrived, there was plenty of parking available. They had a private room space reserved for our group. The servers were friendly and attentive to our needs. They brought out complimentary bread and butter, which was served warm and fresh. We had a prefix menu to choose from which consisted of a salad, petite filet and a side item. I ordered the Caesar salad and filet cooked rare with flash fried green beans and paired it with a mezcal cocktail. The filet that I was served was a bit smaller than others, but my filet was cooked as requested and topped with butter. The filet was tender and exactly the protein I needed before race day. The green beans were so flavorful and had the perfect texture. The Smokey and the Bramble cocktail featured Fósforo Ensamble Mezcal, Bombay Sapphire Gin, lemon juice, blackberry purée, and club soda. It was a very refreshing and flavorful craft cocktail that paired well with my meal. Great atmosphere for a group dinner and the service kept everything moving smoothly for our team. Definitely a great choice for an event!

The Seafood Fondeaux was excellent, easily the standout of the night, but the garlic bread…read moresituation was baffling. When we needed more, it was brought without hesitation -- and then quietly added to the bill. If the ratio of fondue to bread is that mismatched, maybe adjust the portioning instead of nickel‑and‑diming guests for something that should accompany the dish in the first place. The steaks were a consistent miss. A New York Strip ordered medium rare came out closer to medium, and both the bone‑in ribeye and the filet followed the same pattern. The flavor was fine, but every cut was cooked past the requested doneness, which defeats the point of ordering specific temperatures at a steakhouse. The chicken fried chicken was decent but forgettable, with the texture of something that spent a little too long under a heat lamp while the steaks were being overcooked. Nothing about it stood out. Aside from the amazing fondue, nothing reached the level of exceptional -- and in a city surrounded by genuinely great steakhouses, this felt like exactly what my associates expected when they pushed for a chain instead. The whole experience fit the standard chain‑restaurant aesthetic a little too well. And since this is another Landry's property, I'm already prepared for the standard corporate message they paste under every non‑glowing review. I've seen it enough times recently to recite it, so they can save themselves the keystroke.
