What a wonderful dining experience! I haven't been to The Cheesecake Factory in years, and tonight's visit to the Cool Springs location in Franklin, Tennessee, exceeded all expectations. We chose several small plates and appetizers for our meal, and every item was absolutely delicious. The food was excellent, but what truly made our experience special was our waitress, Bryn. She was phenomenal! Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated, and she provided excellent dessert recommendations when we asked for suggestions. Our drink glasses were never empty, and Bryn consistently checked to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. Her outstanding service did not go unnoticed. Had a solid experience overall at The Cheesecake Factory. There was about a 20-25 minute wait, but they were clearly busy, so it felt reasonable and moved pretty quickly. Our waitress, Jada, did a great job--attentive, friendly, and kept things moving even with how packed it was. Food-wise, there were some real highlights. The avocado egg rolls were delicious as always, the street corn was super flavorful, and the Korean cauliflower was another standout. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit soggy, which was disappointing. Dessert was a bit of a letdown--we ordered Adam's peanut butter cheesecake and the slice felt noticeably smaller than expected. This place is always packed! Recommend reservations for the weekend. Front staff is great and so is the wait staff. Very attentive and impressed because they are so busy. Dirty martini was prefect and had good blue cheese olives with it. Bread is always good and warm! We started with Southwest-Tex Mex Egg Rolls and they were okay. They weren't as crispy as usual and a bit soggy. Filing was good. Kids butter pasta was a hit and very generous portion. Our table also had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries which were good. The Herb Encrusted Salmon was delicious but the presentation was horrible. Thank god the salmon was good (also generous portion) and mashed potatoes were delicious too. Sauce with the salmon was ok but asparagus was flimsy and not crispy. But the presentation looked odd (see pics). All in all, staff and drinks gets 4 stars, and food gets 3 stars. read more

This was a horrible experience from beginning to end. Order was not accurate, missing items, tiny portions, mutilated piece of cheesecake, lazy workers, etc. they have gone way down hill. The quality has also gone down hill& the portion sizes much smaller, yet the prices have gone up, lol. My sandwich was 3.5" x 3.5".. honestly smaller than a kids size bun.. my "salad" was just lettuce.. literally NOTHING else, not even a tomato. My tiny sandwich & lettuce was $20!! Absolutely WILD. Ordered my sandwich at 4pm & wasn't ready until 4:45, despite it being slow & given a time of 20 minutes. Hostess was also lazy. We made reservations but still had a wait upon arrival. The host stand felt understaffed and disorganized and there was little communication about who was being helped, which led to confusion for several guests. The entry door also made an extremely loud screeching noise that could really use some WD-40. When we were seated, the table and silverware were dirty, with dried lettuce still stuck between the forks. I tried to move past those initial frustrations and focus on enjoying the meal. We started with the fried macaroni and cheese balls, and wow - we've truly been sleeping on those. They were phenomenal and easily the highlight of the night. Highly recommend, though we had to pace ourselves because they're very filling. For entrées, I ordered the Chicken Madeira, which I've had before and normally love. My partner tried the Miso Salmon. His dish arrived piping hot, fresh, and beautifully flavored. Unfortunately, mine tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The mashed potatoes weren't even warm, and the chicken was barely warm. I mentioned it to our server and asked if it could be reheated. While they did take the dish back, it came out only slightly improved and still not properly hot, and difficult to enjoy because of the temperature. We ordered cheesecakes to go and have no doubt they'll be excellent. Overall, this was my least favorite experience at a Cheesecake Factory location. The prices don't reflect the quality of the food...except for the cheesecake which was delicious. There were good things about the meals yet some shortcomings. The service was very good but then again the restaurant was almost empty at the time. We realized that we might have forgotten our credit card at the restaurant and called to check if anyone had found it after we missed the card the next day which was a Saturday. We realized that it was a busy day but this is a serious condition these days when people seem to be more prone to commit fraud, so what would have taken 2 minutes at the most was put off as "they were too busy to bother a manager and he would call back later". He didn't call back so that evening at 9 we tried again before cancelling our card. Waited over 12 minutes as I was transferred twice and no manager responded. Poor customer service from management. We are not demanding people and in fact was seated at the worst table possible, right next to the servers station where there was banging of utensils and trays, falling metal items and such a racket that it was hard to have a conversation with our guests. But we left a nice tip anyway. Just really disappointed that the management couldn't have been more responsive. read more

we frequent this location a couple times a month, but this trip was not a good experience. We always ask for our bread with extra butter and got one small loaf of brown and sourdough with one butree for three of us. Cheesecake is always good about bringing more which he did. The issue was otr orders of the Factory Chopped Salad. Neither salad my wife and I ordered included avocado or chicKen Which is listed on the menu. We pointed it out to our waiter and he broughy out what looked like boiled chicken unseasoned and bland. We didn't bother asking for the avocad. Didn't want to press our luck. Came in for a birthday party and they are running a promo if you download their app you get a piece of free cheesecake. The server brought the main manager over he looked at my phone and it was showing a code 404 bad gateway. Then he said sorry maybe some other time. Someone else said can't you just give us a slice. He said no our owner won't let me give anything away. Which is fine but I would come up with a better way to tell it. He told us that the owner wants this restaurant to just churn people out. He if you notice the seats are not very comfortable. He's right I'm out. So Guest services saw my review and directed me to their website and find 2 links to answer some questions for them about my review. I tried for about 15 minutes to find it but had no luck. When I was younger, I was always so impressed by the cheesecake factory, but it's honestly been many years since I went until just recently. As I remembered, there are million choices on the menu which can be tough if you're very indecisive like me. I went with my a large group and the server was very accommodating and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The portions are large and well prepared. The restaurant itself is very clean and presents well and have very clean restrooms. Overall its a very well run restaurant and the staff is clearly well trained. I was mostly impressed by the kids menu which offered things like grilled salmon things you don't normally see on a children's menu. I also appreciate that there are lots of variations of different ethnic foods so you're not stuck to just one type of cuisine when you dine here. Don't worry, we have to be. read more

Seated promptly, bit of a wait for the server. Ordered our appetizer but our server walked away before we could order our meals. Ordered cheeseburger spring rolls for the appetizer. I got a Cuban, wife ordered Renee's special. 1/2 a sandwich, cup of soup and a small side salad. The restaurant was very busy but they did a very good job at trying to keep it clean. Been waiting about 20 minutes and still no appetizer. The cheeseburger spring rolls were a disappointment. They were basically hamburger rolled in a spring roll wrapper. Barely any seasoning whatsoever. Avoid ordering them. My Cuban wasn't bad but it wasn't that great either. The inside of a pressed toasted sandwich should be at the very least warm but it was not. The fries reminded me of oven baked fries, they definitely weren't deep fried. I went here yesterday right around opening time. My server was quite responsive and did a good job of checking on my table. I ordered the chicken jalapeno fritters. I thought the chicken would be breaded chicken with some form of jalapeños mixed in a shell but it was like balls of chicken salad mixed with jalapeños and then breaded and fried. It didn't taste bad but wasn't what I expected. But I really went there for dessert. There were so many great choices. I decided on a slice of Lemon Raspberry cheesecake with whipped topping. Probably the worst experience ever. We arrived at 4:45. We sat down before 5pm. It took about 5 min before the waiter arrived. Once we placed our drink order it was over 20 minutes to get the drink from the bar and no bread and butter was ever brought. Once we placed our order it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The two tables beside us had things wrong with their order and had to reorder. They got their order back before we ever received ours. Once our food arrived we ordered a piece of cheesecake to go. Issac was an exceptional server. However, it appears that staff is lethargic. With a reservation in the bar area for 5pm, we waited 20 minutes for table to be cleared. The bar area was not busy and the tables werent cleared after the patrons had left. Issac immediately took our beverage order and like the clearing of tables our drink and food orders were badly delayed. Food was luke warm. Very bad management and staff training was revealed. When food and drinks aren't served in a timely manner, the whole dining experience is negative. Ever since moving out of California I've missed having the Cheesecake Factory.. especially since I used to live within walking distance to one in SoCal! It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants. My husband also loves it too. We both love their crispy fried cheese. Although I will say I miss the old version they used to have that was more like cheese sticks. Now they only have 3 small triangles, so it's less food for more money since I'm almost positive they raised the price also. My all time favorite dish is their spicy chicken chipotle pasta, which of course is what I ordered. Even with ordering an extra side of sauce, I will say that the dish was severely lacking in the sauce department. The pasta looked so dry without it. I ended up having to get an additional (2 total) side of sauce for it to taste right. One positive is that our waitress was amazing! I completely forgot her name, unfortunately, but she was on top of everything. I ended up using a birthday perk during our visit since we were literally there on my birthday and our waitress was nice enough to bring out a little treat for me. They only give a tiny glass of whipped topping with sprinkles but I thought it was adorable. Overall I'd say the food was 4 stars but service was definitely top notch! I really hate to write this, I think more than anything it was my fault because we took our family of 10 and it was half price cheesecake day. But our experience was awful, I was so embarrassed. Next time I invite everyone I'm sure they will kindly deny. Our reservation was at 5, we were seated at 5:15. Wd ordered but didn't receive our food until 6:45 ! 90 minutes!! Some dishes were really good, mine was, salmon mashed potatoes and corn. But 2 people got chicken parm pizza style and they just picked on it and didn't want to take leftovers. Daughter in law always gets the Louisiana Pasta, in my opinion it wasn't edible. But she took it home I think not to hurt my feelings. The other daughter in law's salad was kinda mushy. My husband and I frequent this location usually 3-4 times a year. We love it because it is CONSISTENT. It is consistently good, the service is consistently outstanding and of course the taste and amount of food is off the charts. There is not a dish we have had or a dessert we have had that is not wonderful and we love that we always have enough for leftovers the next day. Our go-to dishes are Louisiana Chicken Pasta and Chicken Picatta. We brought our boys (9 and 5) for the first time this past Sunday night. Our server was ON TOP OF IT. Every time our drinks even came close to empty he was there and ready. Our boys just kept oohing and ahhing over how "fancy" and 'beautiful" the restaurant was and even went to the bathroom twice just to see how pretty it was. They inhaled their chicken tenders they shared and then loved their ice cream. We, of course, always love every cheesecake we try. From the moment we sat down, she brought such a warm, welcoming energy that made us feel taken care of right away. Arguably worst dining experience of my life. Ordered bottle of wine, waitress brought a glass, then brought wrong bottle, we took it anyway. Had to ask 3 separate times for kids drinks. After20 min, she brought wrong appetizer, we just ate what they gave us. Told they were out of bread, no big deal but often that is all my daughter eats. Brought wrong kids pasta. She ate it any way. Then tells me they do not have the entree I ordered, 30 min after I placed the order. So I just ordered a sandwich. Sandwich came before my wife's entree. Waitress brought wife wrong entree then argued that what she brought is what wife ordered. Even though my wife specifically at at the time of ordering asked if they had bread for sandwiches and what kind. They brought her steak frites. I went to bathroom, only half way done with my entree. Waitress took my plate and my wife had to follow her to back and ask for my plate to be returned. Manager confronted my wife just for doing this. It was like a SNL skit, I thought we were being punked. First time in my life I thought about not leaving a tip. I tipped $20 and am now regretting it. So many great restaurants in this town. I had to wait about 40 mins for my food and then when I got it the steak was rare. Does it really take 40 mins to bring a piece of rare meat and fries to the table? Cheesecake Factory seems to get a bad wrap lately. I believe it has something to do with the young girls in the dating pool believing this restaurant is below them for a first date. LOL REALLY? With Cheesecake Factory's overwhelmingly extensive menu, sometimes it helps to narrow down and give a personal opinion of what dishes are the best. So I'll attempt to tell you. The fresh grilled Atlantic salmon is superb! It comes with a very large portion of mashed potatoes [with skins] and a huge 'tree' of steamed broccoli. You can make substitutions here so I always swap the broccoli with asparagus. Not that I don't like broccoli but I do prefer broccolini. The salmon is a generous 5-6 oz portion, grilled just right. You can also ask for it blackened. 'Lemon sauce' is the best sauce for this fish, so ask for that one. There are several sauces you can choose, however. This is a satisfying meal for any diner. The portions are so large that you can split this meal with another. If you're in the mood for a sandwich I always choose the Turkey Club. But I convert it into a sandwich using not the toasted bread, but with using a hunk of their French Baguette. You get a bigger and better sandwich on a baguette that way. They always take a few bucks off when I order it this way. Other favorites of mine are the traditional Chicken Marsala, Chicken Costoletta, and Fettuccine Alfredo. I omit the chicken on the fettuccine dish because it always seems so tough. Not sure the method of cooking it but it would be more tasty grilled first with a char. They always take a few bucks off that one as well. I've been a big fan of Cheesecake Factory since my teen years. I think the atmosphere is subdued and relaxing enough to have a conversation with anyone. So basically, a great first-date-place. There you have it! My choices. Came here for happy hour and the experience was terrible. The food took a while and came out and when it did, most of it was cold, then my children's food came out 30+ mins after the other food, only after we asked where it was (50 mins after ordering) Our sever was friendly and our drinks were good. Went to the women's restroom and both stalls didn't have any toilet paper. I asked a server outside for some napkins and she gave me 2 drink napkins.... I informed the manager but I didn't see anyone address the issue after. Our server offered to give us a free slice of cheesecake (for the food taking so long) and we took it to go, when we ate it at home the first fork full had a piece of plastic in it.... read more

Our service was the WORST we have ever received. We were sat in the bar area and our server was Demarcus. We watched another server run circles around him. I even complemented the other server. He flipped like 6 tables before we got done. We never got checked on for drink refills until I asked the bus guy. We were at our table for OVER 2 hours. He just was not attentive and he did say he was new but refilling drinks, engaging with your table, and being attentive has nothing to do with being new. We had to wait forever on our check, to go boxes, ordering. Maybe needs some retraining. I hate to be so negative but he just acted like he didn't even want us there. read more
