Here is the thing with Cheesecake Factory. The food is always good. So good in fact for birthday week (and while I complaining why would a cheesecake place do ice cream for your birthday?). this was my second time this week. Two different locations and one at lunch (Scottsdale) and one for dinner (Arrowhead) but good grief this is not a relaxing experience. The tables are so close you have zero problem listening to your neighbors full conversation. Friday night noise decibel might as well go to a rock concert. Yes I am "middle age". Any who hear is my real issue. Scenario: Sit down at restaurant (Friday night) order a drink. Sorry the bar is really backed up... waiting ... I expect busy on a Friday night. I was surprised we were seated right away. Order food. Two table sit down beside us. They order, they get their food. We get our food and it's wrong. She says something we don't quite hear. She takes the meal to correct it. We ordered fish and chips and sliders. We asked for cheese and no onions on the sliders. Nothing complicated. I eat my whole meal. Then the second meal arrives. Two tables leave. We order dessert to go. And boxes for the food. Server brings our check. She rang in a second entree to have the kitchen cook the entree correctly and comps the second entree. Confused we ask her. She says they had to order a second one to get it ordered in the kitchen so they comped that one. Ok so what about the first one we waited 45 mins for ? She says what about it you ordered that one. You are taking that one home. You pay for that one. Ah ok. Let me talk to the manager. He proceeds to say the same thing. Sir I get what you are saying. I don't need you to explain how you do something to ring up food. My question is I would have liked to enjoyed a meal together. But that isn't what happened. One ate. One stared. And now one will eat at home. 2 hours sitting in a crowded noisy restaurant with a baby screaming. No doubt my patience is worn thin. Manager, oh I see the disconnect and comps the meal. We were seated after about 10 minutes and no one came by our table for about 10-15 minutes and I needed water. when it's like 110 degrees, you should be faster with water. We didn't even get someone stopping by saying I'll be with you in a moment. I used to serve so when you're triple or quadruple sat, you should probably do that. Vibes were the same as any Cheesecake Factory, loud, busy. Calamari was delish. 9/10 would eat again. It was cooked nicely and had a good crisp batter and it wasn't thick like I am in the winter. Basically it was a good calamari to batter ratio. Sauces were decent, aioli and a cocktail sauce. My food was the Asian tenderloin bowl. They burned some of the veggies but when they plated it, flipped over the burned side so you wouldn't see it. Not a fan of that. If you burn them, leave them off entirely or make a new one. Garlic sauce on the noodles was decent. We had $20 of extra drinks that were on my bill and I almost just paid it. They had to fix it a few times to get the correct drinks, but we only had 1 specialty drink, everyone else just had water so it really should have been simple. They also forgot the cheesecake I ordered and fixed the bill again to add it. I should have taken it as a sign not to order it. It was the same cheesecake I get there any time I order their cheesecake. This time it was mid. My dad liked his food. The bottom of his bread looked a little extra toasted but he wasn't going to say anything so I didn't ask. He had the French dip. It did look decent. He said it was filling. My mom had the chopped salad. She didn't say anything about it so it must have been mid. When she really likes something she talks about it A LOT. The honey ate his food pretty quickly and quietly. He said it was okay. It looked like a basic burger. Kiddo really liked her flatbread. She gave me a piece and it was pretty good. Texture of the flatbread had a good chew to it, decent amount of toppings. The wooden board it comes in is weird imo bc it's like the same size of the flatbread. She got the bee sting flatbread. Haven't been here in 3 years, there's now a special menu, skinnylicous, and brunch on the weekends. We came here for HH, it starts from 4 pm-6 pm in the bar area M-F. Luis our server was great, fast, attentive and knew his stuff. I ordered their HH burger, it was really good! Double cheese was melty and the double patties were juicy and full of flavor. My BF ordered their Peruvian chicken off their special menu and he said it was okay. It was more like a Cuban dish than anything. Wayyyy longer wait than we were told. It's one thing to use a long wait, we fully understand that and was prepared, but they could've at least gave us a more realistic wait time. They told us 20-30min wait time to be seated and we even changed it to be inside or outside given that it's already 100 degrees outside with the misters because my grandma gets cold and she would've preferred the warm weather outside and still, it ended up taking 1 hour to seat us. Our go-to order is always the pasta da Vinci but I seriously don't understand why they can't put more sauce on the plate. The cost of sauce is so minimal compared meat and it would make the dish infinitely better. This is common, not just for this pasta dish but I feel like every other pasta dish everyone orders extra sauce on the side for this very reason. The vodka pasta should not be named vodka pasta because it does not taste like that, it tastes like a chile pasta which tastes great if you like the flavors of chile and the heat but it's way off from a vodka pasta. The Thai lettuce wraps are always great but the chicken portion is so small it's disappointing. I hope these small things are taken into consideration across the board. Visited for a belated birthday lunch on a Saturday. Didn't have much of a wait, our server (male) whose name I didn't catch unfortunately was the best!! We ordered the GF lunch portion four cheese pasta which was Al dente, the sauce was very flavorful and the perfect amount of cheeseness. The lemon garlic shrimp was delicious as well. However the lunch portion of the chicken piccata would be rated as 3 stars. The sauce was delicious and the angel hair pasta was cooked perfectly however the chicken was very chewy and it was hard to cut with a knife. Late post. We had a birthday celebration for my grandson who turned 21 on Tuesday. We sat out on the patio. It ended up being a bit breezy. Our server was wonderful. She serviced our party of 8 and was super nice and had lots of patience. She was very attentive to our needs. To start I had the spritzer with presecco as did my grandson. Hubby had his go to drink the Long Island ice tea. We ordered cheeseburger spring roll, calamari, stuffed mushrooms and fried cheese. Overall the appetizers were good. For main meal, I had the chicken Madeira, hubby ordered meatloaf, my grandson ordered as well. My granddaughter had chicken strips and fries from the kids menu. My other grandson ordered. New orlean shrimps (sm plate) and fried pickles. The birthday boy had grilled rib eye steak with Mac and cheese. My daughter had Louisiana pasta with crispy fried chicken. And my son in law had a bacon burger. My husband was not that excited about his food. It came out lukewarm. Mine was yummy with lightly covered in the Madeira sauce and mozzarella cheese. My husband and I visited the other day only to encounter a subpar service. We ordered our usual all dark bread, a soda, and an iced green tea to start. For the appetizer- deep fried chicken pot stickers; Dinner - Pasta Carbonara, Chicken Bellagio, and a Dulce De Leche Cheesecake to go. For starters, the iced green tea had mint leafs in it as usual, but as I looked closer, there were wilted leafs on part of them floating in the tea. I let it go because I always pull them out. Our server, Emily brought the all dark bread basket & butter. As my husband started to cut it, he noticed it had been baked a lil too long and was on the darker side and harder than usual on the outsides. We mentioned it to Emily, and she apologized. After a bit, our main course dishes came out and shortly afterwards the chicken pot stickers. Mind you, we were supposed to get the pot stickers first! We immediately noticed the unfavorable looking main dishes. My husband stated, "The pasta in the Pasta Carbonara seemed as if it was under the heat lamp a bit too long and was not steaming hot like it's usually served". My plate of Chicken Bellagio came looking like they threw the food together & had splats of cheese sloppily on the rim of the plate. My husband asked another server that was close by for the manager. Neither one of us touched our plates because both of our meals were totally unacceptable. We were really surprised they both were released from the kitchen as such. The Manager, Kim came to address our concerns, and I said this isn't Cheesecake's standards. She was very apologetic and took both our meals back to rectify the situation. When we eventually received our makeup meals, the quality was almost what it should've been. I told my husband my dish needed more seasoning like it usually does, but by this time we were hangry. Oh! The chicken pot stickers were lacking the usual amount of sauce & seasoning as well! We were too disappointed to complain at that point. Hopefully, the kitchen manager will catch the mistakes before the meals leave their stations. Capacity was about half full on Sunday lunch and food and service was still pretty slow. Food and service was 'ok' a solid 3 stars. We had a great meal at the Cheesecake Factory! After not checking out the Cheesecake Factory for many years, it was a great surprise we stopped by and were in the area. We ended up being surprised by how great the service and food was. The Mexican Corn I saw on social media, so I wanted to try it out and it didn't disappoint ! The flavor was so amazing. The Mexican Tortilla salad was huge even though it was chosen off of "The Skinny Menu." We almost didn't have room for the Adam's Cheesecake, but it had to be the best dessert I've had in a long time. Definitely coming back here again soon! Food: 2-stars - Ordered kid's grilled chicken with broccoli and fries. Pretty solid for a kid's meal. Did the job for my 2-year old. Crab dip appetizer was okay but made with imitation crab. Thai chili shrimp was okay; battered shrimp with a spicy mayo dipping sauce but shrimps were on the smaller size. Louisiana chicken pasta was delicious as it's my go-to plate at Cheesecake Factory; chicken was crispy and pasta was flavorful with bits of mushroom and red peppers throughout. Teriyaki salmon was okay; colorful and lots of fresh ingredients with a teriyaki glazed salmon over a bed of white rice. Rice was on the dry side but overall not bad. A big reason I gave -3 stars for food was the availability of appetizers - they were out of the fried calamari and spicy tuna on crispy rice. At the premium price point with such an extensive menu, would be nice to have the items available at a high-quality standard. None of the food items we ordered (besides their cheesecake) blew us out the water or will make us return for more anytime soon. Service: 5-stars - I forgot the name of our server but she was fantastic. Great attention to detail and wonderful personality. She was on point with our requests and did everything with professionalism, which is what you expect at a high(er) end dining spot. Ambiance: 4-stars - Dining in at a place like Cheesecake Factory should be transformative. Being a large chain restaurant that has been around for a long time, they create a nice atmosphere for dining. Overall: 3-stars - Food was mediocre but perhaps we are not ordering their flagship items. With such a large menu, it's tough to find the solid options when selecting what we want to eat. But once you find one you like (for me it's the Louisiana chicken pasta) I'd recommend sticking to that bc they probably do a few things really well and others are just meh. The server made our experience, but for a nearly $200 dining bill after tax and tip for 3 adults and 1 toddler, I am definitely not coming back anytime soon. Went in for lunch at 11:30 and left 2.5 hours later, full and happy. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We ordered skinnilious chicken pasta and Tuscan chicken. Both delicious and fewer calories which lead us into slices of cheesecake for dessert. My gf ate half due to how rich it was and mine was half cake half cheesecake and was gone quickly. Still so many choices for food, enjoy skinny licious choices or smaller lunch portions n prices. Wonderful selection of cheesecake, would love if you offered a flight of cheesecakes to share amongst the table ( half of a normal slice). On Tuesday, May 26, I placed a pickup order from The Cheesecake Factory for my son's birthday dinner because he wasn't feeling well and we wanted to celebrate at home. When we arrived, we called the restaurant as instructed and informed the staff that we were outside. We were told our order was ready and would be brought out within a few minutes. Unfortunately, we waited in our vehicle for over 25 minutes and no one ever brought the food out. After approximately 30 minutes, we finally went inside ourselves, only to discover that our order had been sitting unattended at the bakery counter the entire time. By then, the food was cold. When we got home, the meal was ice cold, hard, and completely unappetizing. I contacted the manager, who asked me to send photos of the food. While I complied, I'm not sure how pictures can adequately demonstrate that food was served cold after sitting for an extended period of time. After about a week, the resolution offered was a $25 gift card, despite the fact that I spent over $50 on my son's birthday dinner and the food was never eaten because of its condition. Given the circumstances, I believe a full refund would have been far more appropriate. What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. This was not a situation caused by overwhelming business volume--it appears we were simply forgotten outside. The lack of attention, follow-through, and accountability turned what should have been a special birthday meal into a very disappointing experience. I have always expected better customer service from The Cheesecake Factory. Sadly, both the handling of the pickup order and the management's response fell far below reasonable expectations. read more

Front of house staff are atrocious at this location. From the host to the last 4x servers as well. MGMNT is a joke. Waited an hour and half for food, server never came back for drink orders. Server ignored the table and helped around only to find out MGMNT was going to be serving us. Our Thai noodles they ran out of materials to make it but never came to say it only to show up right as we were leaving with a bowl of it and when asked they said they magically came up with the extra materials and here enjoy. The workers that would bring the bread and butter must be having a really bad day. She would just plop it down on the table and you could hear the dish just smack the table. Guess she was in a mood today. As we did get more bread and she did the same thing again. Smacked the butter right down. The same worker that brought the bread, brought our food to our table and she spilled my mom's syrup on my dad's burger. As she reached over my dad to hand my mom her plate she also knocked some fries over with her arm. That is absolutely unsanitary and gross. She did offer to just get my dad a new hamburger bun but my dad said it was okay. But that's really gross her arm touched his fries. My mom's giant Belgium waffles was missing the whip cream and pecans. My boyfriend had to get the attention of our server to ask about it. Our server was great about refilling water but to place our order took some time. I got a grilled cheese that wasn't very cheesy as parts of bread had no cheese at all and my sweet potato fries were soggy. The food was mediocre and service was okay. Took a while for server to greet us. When she did, she said she was busy and would return to take our drink order. Took a few minutes before she finally returned. My mother in law made a comment "thought you got lost" or something like that and the server was clearly annoyed by said comment. We were more than ready to order food so we put in apps and meal orders. I have an orange allergy, I mentioned that and ordered a tuna bowl. My partner ordered a side of fruit with his meal and mentioned no oranges (as my allergy an oral and atmospheric allergy (like peanuts)). She returned and said they were out of tuna. Gave me a menu to pick something else. She was nice and made a couple of suggestions. She returned and I ordered the salmon bowl. She never offered us bread, we eventually asked for some. She said they were out of the brown bread. Eventually we did get some fresh brown bread and it was delicious. Brussel sprouts app was very good. My salmon bowl was only okay. Spicy sauce wasn't distributed well so I got a bite of spicy all at once. Mushrooms seemed a tad burnt- like a burnt teriyaki flavor, wasn't appealing. Salmon was a tad over cooked. My partners side of fruit came with oranges (so I could feel burning from the juice a little and he couldn't share it with me) She didn't really come back to check on us to ask how the food was. But her mood did get better as other customers started to leave. We got a plain cheesecake to share. It was good (mother n law said trader joes cake was better lol) Service was okay (got better) Food was mostly good. Need to pay more attention to allergies!! Overall, would not return to this location. We were visiting from out of town and would say this was the worst experience at a Cheesecake Factory. Not the best representation of the brand. read more

Food is tasty. Prices though on many of the items have increased by 30-40% within last 4-5yrs while the service has decreased. The servers fail to refill drinks after walking past empty glasses. The customers have to request bread basket refills. The server takes your order but doesn't bring out your food. They ask once how is your food and you see them one more time before they suggest cheesecake We observed several tables being cleared of dirty dishes but not a single table being wiped down. We have always loved the food but the rest of the experience isn't worth it. I'm glad there are so many other restaurants in the market. read more
