Walked into Fired Pie on this wonderful Monday and had a great experience! The employees welcome us warmly and they were so kind to explain how this works and what the ingredients are since it was our first time trying this concept. The pizza was so good. The dough was so nice, thin and crispy, there was plenty of sauce , cheese and all the toppings we wanted . I don't think I can eat from a regular pizza place ever again!! I loved building my own!

I really love their pizza. 1000000/10 but what in the world is this pookie. I'm so sadddd

Great service & super fast with the lunchtime rush! These guys always get the job done, hopefully I can eat here again soon if my manager gives me another lunch break?

I came to order a pizza and some Mac and cheese (kids). I wanted a kid size Mac and Cheese and they said they could just put less but the price would be the same as regular. Wait, what? I thought that was really weird. So I ended up having to take the regular bc what would have been the point to get a kid size if I will pay for regular size. Lol that could have been easily accommodated imo just charge half lol. I do like the pizza and Mac and cheese was ok. Nothing special but ok for lunch when you're in a hurry like I was but don't want total fast food. Place needs to wipe the tables.

Pizza was so good! Slightly burned on the crust but I was ok with it. Thin crust was really thin, which was great for me being on low carb. Pizza made to order and it came out quick! I took one star off as the tables were all dirty. I had to clean the tables before we sat down. We will be back!

The location was clean and smells so good. The young men here are kind and hard working. It is hard to write a negative review for me. Our youngest can no longer tolerate corn and it comes with dangerous side effects. I didn't have any medicine to counter act a reaction so I was extra cautious. When I asked when ordering their was corn in the recipe corn meal flying everywhere. I asked if they had corn in the gluten free crust. He said no. Yet he proceeded to cover the tray with corn meal. I walked over to another employee and asked him if he could check. That way others could order while I confirmed. Without looking he knew there was no corn. The clock struck 12:22pm. I got a gut feeling. I walked out and called corporate. It ended up being another location. She was so kind and actually looked it up. There IS corn in the recipe. Not just on the trays. Now I dont like to put any responsibility for any business to cater to our goofy immune systems. I am very thankful when businesses go out of their way to accommodate us. This is not a good business for allergies or sensitivities. Only for those who avoid gluten for other dietary reasons. Another thing is the gal in front of me was personalizing her pizza. It was a thin crust with red sauce and pesto. He put a lot of pesto, but you couldn't even see any red sauce. I was wanting more for her just looking at it. She asked for more right after I was thinking it. He refused as it was a thin crust yet there was a ton of pesto. The red was thinner, but you could barely even see it. Great place for those with no restrictions.

Pardon the bite and half eaten salad.

Despite ongoing issues with their app, Titus and his crew are friendly and fast, making delicious pizza and salads. I get a pizza and a lil salad each time I'm here. Come to Tanger Outlets, do a little shopping and satisfy your appetite with a nice, hot pizza fresh from the oven and/or salad.

We visited today and had the best pizza we've had in a long time! The staff here was GREAT and all very friendly! Mason (I think he was the manager) was very friendly and super helpful. We enjoyed everything about this visit!!

My creation! The dough was a tad "off" and not nearly as good as their Deer Valley location. Still, a good pizza for around $9.00.
    Tim S.

A few years back, I was a regular at Fired Pie (Deer Valley location) and would get pizza from here at least once a week. That all changed when my lunch break changed (mid day, if you try to go here anytime between 11-1pm, good luck...takes up your whole lunch break) and I quit going. Fast forward a few years, and we saw Fired Pie at the mall. We decided to have dinner here. It was busy as hell, but they move the line pretty quick! I placed my order for my pizza and went with meatballs, steak, onion, artichoke hearts, garlic and spinach. My wife got her pizza, and we got a large lemonade. Total was right about $24.00. They give you a table marker, and bring your pizza out when its done. I ordered mine well done, but it wasn't as well done as I had hoped for. Still tasted pretty good, but something was off.....the dough/crust! Not sure if they changed their recipe over the years, or if it was just this location, but the dough and crust was way more light than normal and what I was used to at the Deer Valley location. At the Deer Valley location, the crust was crisp and chewy. At this location, it was way too "airy". Not a bad pizza in any sense, but not nearly as good as Deer Valley. Anyways........the pizza was tasty enough and their lemonade is always great! It was a good dinner for being in the area!

While the service was adequate, the food more than made up for it and quickly became the highlight of the evening. We started with the Sicilian Strada Board, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Beautifully presented on an impressive five-foot board, it offered an abundant assortment of flavors and textures. From the perfectly crispy calamari and creamy polenta to Tomaso's signature meatballs, every item was thoughtfully prepared and incredibly flavorful. The artisanal cured meats and cheeses paired wonderfully with the bruschetta, Roman artichokes, Sicilian olives, and sweet fig jam, creating a memorable appetizer experience that was perfect for sharing. We also ordered the Cured Meat and Cheese Board, which was equally impressive. The selection of artisanal meats and cheeses was excellent, complemented by fresh grapes, grilled ciabatta, Roman artichokes, olives, and fig jam. Every bite felt carefully curated and highlighted the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. For my entrée, I chose the Cacio e Pepe, a classic dish executed beautifully. The freshly cracked black pepper and pecorino created a rich, velvety sauce that coated the pasta perfectly. Simple in concept yet incredibly satisfying, it was a wonderful example of how a few high-quality ingredients can create something truly outstanding. The cocktails were also exceptional--easily a 10/10. Expertly crafted, balanced, and delicious, they complemented the meal perfectly and elevated the overall dining experience. The Sicilian Butcher offers a vibrant atmosphere, generous portions, and food that genuinely impresses. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, the outstanding cuisine and phenomenal cocktails make this a restaurant I would happily return to again and again.

Based on the photos online, it looked like the perfect place for our group to gather. I confirmed my reservation through both the email and text reminders. On the day of our reservation, another partner agency happened to be in town and wanted to join us. Since the website wouldn't let me modify the reservation, I called four times after they opened to see if I could add a few more people. Unfortunately, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to arrive early and ask in person. The Service When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed. The hostess told us we were welcome to walk through the bar to see if we could find a table ourselves, but that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't have anything available. After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events. What disappointed me wasn't the crowd--it was having a confirmed reservation, receiving multiple confirmation requests, making several unanswered phone calls beforehand, and ultimately being left without a table or a meaningful explanation.

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.

The service is excellent--you just order at the counter and they bring the pizza out to you. If you're in the area, do not pass this up. We'll absolutely be returning on our next trip to Arizona!
