The hostess led us to the worst booth in the entire restaurant and then asked if it was okay. It wasn't. The space between the seat and the table was barely a foot and a half -- way too tight for anyone to sit comfortably. On top of that, the booth was right next to the spot where the wait staff stand to enter orders and prep items, so there was constant heavy traffic passing right beside us. We could even smell body odor from people walking by, and my wife immediately wanted to move. What made it worse is that this was noon, and 90% of the restaurant was empty. With all those open tables, they still tried to stick us in that cramped, high‑traffic booth. It felt careless and honestly disrespectful. Once we moved, things improved. Came here for the 1/2 off Cheesecake because this place is too expensive otherwise! The first thing you will notice is how varied this menu is! It can be very overwhelming and don't get me started with the cheesecakes! Too much variety if you ask me, after a while, they all seem to appear to be the same one way or another. We came in at 9PM on a Thursday night, they seated us fairly quickly and the whole place was well packed with diners still. They also had lots of tables and servers, so everything seemed as expected. I'm not sure if it's always this busy, maybe it was the 1/2 off cheesecake deal that brought in the crowd, but it was a good sign for me. This is my first time to this Cheesecake Factory, it's attached to the Towson Town Mall, I parked in the parking lot, not the garage, it was a close walk from the restaurant. The decor was simple and unassuming, nothing really jumps out at you. The music was loud, maybe it was to help drown out the conversations everyone around us was having. Since it was late, we didn't want anything too heavy, so we chose the Fish Tacos. Portions were just right, came in a set of 4, which is nice, some places usually give you just 3. We chose fried over steam fish, it could use a bit more slaw and chipotle drizzle, but it's still good. They came with a side of white rice and then black beans. The beans were as expected, but the white rice was bland and more on the soggy side. So we didn't eat that. The complimentary bread and butter is always so good, it was 2 sourdough and 1 pumpernickel. We asked for seconds but that never came. We got our cheesecake to go because we did not feel like eating too much so late into the night. I think my daughter picked the Turtle Carmel Cheesecake, or some version of it, not sure of the name because the cheesecake menu is a bit much for liking, wish I took a picture. A little over $35 was the damage (tax & tip included), my daughter and I shared one entree and one cheesecake to go. I'm so glad we only paid 1/2 price because the prices these days are outrageous otherwise. I will not return until the next time they run cheesecake special. I've been to a couple Cheesecake Factories throughout my life, usually only for special occasions due to the price. However, my family and I stopped to eat here one day as we were passing through. The server was amazing even though we probably were a bit hangry at arrival. The food and drinks were the best we'd ever had from any other Cheesecake Factory branch before. My friends and I love coming to this location but I will say it can definitely be a hit or miss depending on your server. Most of the time, the servers are friendly and attentive but sometimes we find ourselves having to repeat our order because an entree was missing or we would have to remind our server about extra sauce, utensils, or our first serving of bread. Besides the service, the food is great and the portions are always so large that I often find myself bringing leftovers home. I was planning to go enjoy the Cheesecake Factory brunch in person but had to grab my kiddos from grandma earlier than expected. Curbside to the rescue. I ordered the orange cauliflower (one of their newer entrees) and the crispy brussel sprouts. I loved being able to pull right up indicated pickup on my phone and someone walk right out with my order. My orange cauliflower was still crispy when I got home. The dish had a lovely fragrant smile and an abundance of well cooked mushrooms, sliced carrots and snow peas. My brussel sprouts could have been cooked a bit longer but the glaze over them always saves the day. I'll be sitting down and enjoying these dishes in the restaurant soon enough. read more

Second visit here in a few weeks and the same issues showed up. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant itself still looks and feels great, but the service is uncoordinated. Our potstickers were burnt, a manager came to address it, and yet the item still ended up on the check. Why involve a manager if the correction isn't going to be made? My brother ordered a salad with add on steak. He finished the 80% of the salad before the steak came out. Half our party got their meals then the other half about 5 min later. Meanwhile, the table behind us who arrived and ordered after we did, same number of people received all of their food together. Ours came out in phases, which shouldn't be happening. Our server was friendly, but a bit hard to find when we actually needed something. Yet when it was time to pay, suddenly there seemed to be plenty of attention. That says something. For a meal that came to nearly $200, the timing and basic follow-through shouldn't be this sloppy. Cheesecake Factory needs to tighten up or just close the doors and stop wasting people's time and money. At this point, the only thing served consistently is disappointment. read more

I picked up a carryout which I haven't done here in many years because something would always be wrong. They didnt disappoint. I asked for extra sauces, I received extra of most but not all. I ordered the chicken texmex that we use to get all the time for years. My jaw literally dropped when I opened my container to see how small they are now and definitely are not as good as they use to be. I also ordered the chicken pot stickers ( I tasted a friends a few months ago when we dined in) I did not pay attention to how tiny they are, they are delicious but tiny for the price. There's alot of food shrinkage just like with the cheesecake. I use to get the cheesecake back in the 80s so I have something to compare it to. The slices were huge. ( Inner Harbor) for less than $7. Their pasta machine wasn't working and my order could not be prepared properly according to the menu and recipe. They didn't say that at first and so I ordered another dish with pasta and the same thing happened. It took them too long to let me know that. My family finished their food before mine ever came out. We were there probably an hour longer than we needed to be. However, the manager offered me another meal option and offered to make it with rice and also comped my meal and gave us an additional discount. I always enjoy dining at this location. I tend to go straight to the bar for immediate seating (I'm normally alone) and the spot I prefer was open. I don't remember the Bartender/Server's name, but she was very good - friendly, attentive & helpful. For some reason, my go-to beverage is no longer available (Mint Green Tea) but She offered a Sweat Tea & that worked. I ordered the Orange Chicken & was pleasantly pleased when she offered brown rice as an option - didn't know that was available. I also ordered the Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes. Although the temperature when they arrived wasn't optimal, I still enjoyed them - I was hungry & didn't want to wait longer. My main dish came soon thereafter & it was well prepared. 12/31/2024 Our annual drive down for our Anniversary Dinner. We usually go on the 30th but decided to wait a day. There is a parking garage attached which was a godsend due to heavy rain when we left. We arrived around 4:30/4:45 got our name on the table list and sat at the bar and ordered a Martini and bourbon until we got called. The bartender was extremely attentive and friendly. Drink pricing is a little expensive.... It was Happy Hour until 6:00 and they do have a really nice HR Menu for various food items. Dinner was very good, our appetizers and main courses were served hot, full of flavor and well presented. For being NYE early evening, they did not appear to be behind in food preparation, they were busy but not overwhelmed! Our server could have been more attentive and should have checked in more on how our food was, the effort was made but could have been better. The decor has not changed, the lighting fixtures are very colorful and unique, areas were very clean except the men's room, broken sink water handle, paper towels on the floor, seems no focus on the restrooms.... For the most part I've always had a pleasant experience. I usually order one of their salads. In fact I had a salad 8/11/26 and ordered one this evening 8/15/26. Well, when they brought the salad out, as I began to toss it around I observed that the lettuce was withered. There were several brown pieces. The manager this evening (black male) comes to my table to see what the issue is and begins to tell me that what I was seeing was the dressing and that they always make the salad fresh. I'm 42 years old. I know what a fresh salad looks like and it doesn't look dull and soggy. A fresh salad is bright and crunchy. I was even willing to order another salad since he claims their salads are always fresh but when I said I'd order it he shut that down and suggested I order something else. I declined. It would have been nice if he listened and stopped trying to disregard and dismiss my claims. I'm used to management being apologetic and assuring that whatever I ordered would be top notch. Our party of 25 African American teenagers and adults was separated throughout the restaurant, while a white party of 15 received special arrangements to sit together. Several tables were empty, yet staff refused to move us. We felt rushed, dismissed, and discriminated against. General Manager Josh Schartman refused to speak with me. Stopped here for a quick meals with a few close girlfriends during lunchtime. The server was attentive to all of our needs. I honestly haven't been to Cheesecake in years but, I was excited to try it out. I ordered a martini (I forgot the flavor) but, it was really good. I ordered the Thai chicken lettuce wraps and did not disappoint. I wanted something lite as we were here for lunch and those Thai lettuce wraps did the trick. Everything was so good and flavorful. I've never had a bad experience at the Cheesecake Factory. The food is always amazing and the wacky decor makes it such a nostalgic and wonderful time. We came for our anniversary date. Our wonderful server, Sarah was on it all night long. She was super bubbly and sweet. She went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. She was prompt with food and drink delivery despite how insanely busy it was for a Friday night. I ordered the chicken Madeira because it's my favourite. The sauce with the tender juicy chicken breast with creamy mashed potatoes is heavenly. Getting a perfect bite of cheese, chicken, mushroom, and a bit of asparagus is hard to fit on the fork but my, oh my is it tasty and delightful to the pallet. We ended up getting our cheesecake to go. However Sarah comes out with these delightful little hot fudge sundaes on a decorated platter. Came on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30pm and were seated right away. The atmosphere is the classic low lighting that is characteristic of Cheesecake Factory. It took the servers quite a while to bring water and bread, as I think they mixed up who was assigned to our table. We ordered food and a non-alcoholic cocktail. The food came out reasonably fast but they never brought the drink. Food was tasty but portions were slightly smaller than I remember them being in the past. I love this Cheesecake Factory location . They are professional and the wait is never too long whenever I go. The service is consistent and the restaurant is clean. Depending on when you go it can be a bit loud but it's not unbearable. I'm obsessed with the bread and butter and the crab dip. I almost always order the pasta carbonara as my main entree but sometimes I'll switch up and get the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. You can't leave without dessert. Among my faves for the cheesecake are vanilla bean, pineapple upside down and red velvet.
