Whoa! Skip a meal and go for a walk before visiting this food truck. The cheesy chick has flavorful bites for warm summer nights. We went with meat lovers, Nutella, and the abc. The line was long and so was the wait, but we were satisfied. read more

I love grilled cheese sandwiches. A lot. The Cheese Chick did not disappoint. I stopped by after the Roller Derby for a snack and had the grilled ham and swiss. There was a bit of a wait because they had just opened and the grill was still heating up but once I got my sandwich, I devoured it. It was exactly what I craved. I wish the truck were near me more often because I'd be a regular based on this experience. The Cheesy Chick is in the process of selling her truck now. I don't know what that means for the future of grilled cheese on the go in Buffalo but I look forward to checking out the truck under its new management whenever that happens. I hope we don't lose our grilled cheese sandwiches. read more

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD. cheesus, pizza samie, buffalo sandwich- all 10/10. i drove 40 mins for it and would do it again in a heartbeat. great and funny employees. read more

Food trucks are not reliable. They keep canceling at Leisurewood Campgrounds. Does not make for a good impression with 800+ leaseholders/renters. Does this mean their customer service is poor at their restaurant as well? It's too bad because I like their food. read more

Oh so Cheesy! Had the lunch combo and LOVED my blttc wrap and homemade Mac n cheese! Such a cute cozy cafe! So personable and very friendly staff! Hands on ownership goes a long way! read more

Great food but slightly overpriced. They have an awesome selection of grilled cheese with rotating specials which are nice. One thing they could change is have thinner bread or just less bread... I've gotten a few sandwiches with 2 pieces of bread on each side. Service is great though and there's rarely a wait :) read more

I was at food truck Tuesday and they forgot my order, no big deal, so I approached the lady taking orders and asked what happened. She told the staff I had ordered and it was missed and she asked what I had. When I told them it was the buffalo Mac and cheese the owner turned around yelling that it was 150 degrees in there and he would just get me my food and give me my money back. I told him he didn't need to speak to me that way and he told me I had attitude when talking to him. I didn't have attitude until after he yelled at me and I told him how unprofessional it was to yell at a customer. The lady taking orders then told me how much attitude I had despite her being friendly in the beginning. Maybe if they weren't all too busy having personal conversations while working and paying attention to what they were doing there wouldn't be so many issues. read more

I had two food trucks cater my wedding, one being the cheesy chick. They were AMAZING to work with even when I contacted them in almost a year in advance and kept in contact with me every time I had a question. They're food is amazing I would definitely recommend them for their catering service as well! We had one gluten free person who was going to bring their own meal but cheesy chick had no problem serving them the same price as all the other meals. They were also a lot less price wise as other food truck quotes!! If you follow their Facebook it's also easy to track them down or find the truck at food truck Tuesday's in the summer!! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I was excited to see they had vegan options so I finally went for it when I was in the area. I was terribly disappointed and I wanted to love it. My vegan buffalo chicken grilled cheese wasn't melted at all, like not even close the cheese was still hard and the vegan chili was cold in the center. The flavors of the chili were decent but warmish chili doesn't work. I was there for my order on time so it wasn't a question of that, sadly would not go back again. read more

I bought a philly steak sandwich for $8 at work today, not really worth the price. I can't judge the whole food truck by one sandwich but I won't purchase this again. This sandwich is average no matter how much steak is on it. Apparently the sandwich is under $7 I was told so they must of raised the price for food truck Thursday's at my place of employment read more

I visited the food truck Cheesy Chick had out on N. French today and it was fantastic! The combo meal was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot, and the customer service was great. Definitely am already craving getting more! read more

Highly recommend! Great food and nice people! Extensive vegan menu. Would definitely go back!

Absolutely love the cheesy chick! The best sandwich is a tie between the philly steak grilled cheese and the pesto mozzarella tomato grilled cheese with added chicken...always satisfies my cravings and the workers are always pleasant to talk to also! Can't wait for Larkin this summer read more

I always give a place a couple shots before judging and I've given cheesy chick it's chance. First time I hit it up for lunch maybe 2 weeks ago there was no line and it was quick. Got The 3 Billy Goat Sandwich and a coke. While it was a very good and tasty sandwich it was very very small (I'd need two for a proper lunch). The veggies and goat cheese go great together. Gave it another shot today. Went down to get lunch about 3/4 of the way through their service and the ordering line was very long and kinda slow (not a big deal to sit outside for a little bit) but I noticed that the menu board was very thin on options today. I ended up getting Swiss/tomato/jalapeno on Rye. The only specialty sandwich was the lucky 7. I was also disappointed that they were out of the dipping sauce I wanted (smokey fireside) and diet coke. The sandwich this time was much larger (typical slice of sandwich rye sized) and still very good with my chosen veggies. They could definitely use more vegetarian filling options than the typical tomato, jalapenos, onions and pickles. Maybe I'll let them work their bugs out for a couple months and give it another shot. read more

it was fine. Food took forever to come (I was late coming back to work), and the options that the menu said were available were not. There were only like 3 choices. It's ridiculous to pay that much for a sandwich that isn't even that great. read more

unable to preorder, when one person commented on that owner was unpleasant and said it's on line now. ordered phill steak with grilled onions and peppers. cheese wasn't melted and onions and peppers were raw. will not order from there again read more

Not the same "Cheesy Chick". I had previously eaten at the Cheesy Chick food truck when it was owned by someone else back in 2012 and it was good, hot and fast. I tried the truck again recently in July and was extremely disappointed. In line with a number of the other recent posters the food took forever once we ordered it and the orders were not even 100% correct. The second issue was that it was the WORST grilled cheese I have ever had. The cheese was not melted either, bread was soggy and the bacon was fatty and cold. I could not even eat it and ended up tossing it in the trash. I usually will give places a second chance but not this one. It is not worth the wait...trust me on this one! read more

Great service!! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a side of the Mac and cheese. I am in HEAVEN! Everything including the brownies were top notch! This place is 100% worth checking out!! I'll be back! Not to mention prices very reasonably! 10/10 read more

Stopped in at the new Williamsville location for lunch. Friendly service and and an awesome grilled cheese featuring mozzarella, marinara and pepperoni. Served quickly and tasted fantastic. Got the potato salad as a side but there were multiple other options including soups to go with the sandwiches. The menu also included wraps, salads and Mac-n-cheese. A great addition to the neighborhood I definitely recommend giving it a try! read more

Probably one of my least favorite food trucks in the area. Both times I've gone I was displeased with my order. I don't understand why the buffalo chicken has bbq sauce, especially when we live in Buffalo and know that's not how it should be. Also, my cheese is never fully melted. If your name is the Cheesy Chick, I expect them to know how to make a proper grilled cheese. read more

Not the best. I ordered their club and was surprised at the lack of well... everything on my sandwich! I cannot believe I paid as much as I did for what I got. Big fan of supporting local business but come on. Mediocre at best. If I order an $8 sandwich I expect a little more that just obserdly thick bread and Kraft cheese. read more

This is a small sandwich shop with personal attention to your order. Gluten free options are a must and my sandwich with pesto and mozzarella and tomato was excellent. The traditional grilled cheese was just what you want for comfort food. Will be back!!!! read more

Ahh grilled cheese - one of America's most classic comfort foods. With a twist, Cheesy Chick transforms this nostalgic after-school snack into a gourmet on-the-go meal. I was a little disappointed to see that they only had 2 specials yesterday but I went w/ their most popular "ABC" - apple, bacon, cheddar sandwiched b/t sourdough for $5.50. Thought it was a little steep for the size of the sandwich but each ingredient stood out on its own. Hopefully next time I go, there'll be more specialty options. read more

The Lucky 7 for $5.50 was delicious. However, the wait was long. The sandwich was really small for the price. And they ran out of the "ABC" which was the reason that half of my office came out to try the Cheesy Chick. Overall, I'm sure she will have a successful stint in Buffalo Food Truck history. But, she needs more specialty sandwiches and less wait time for those on a half hour lunch break. Cheers! read more

Love their food truck and finally visited their Eastern Hills Mall location. This place has awesome food! I am now a Cheesy Chick addict. I love the Philly Steak and the pesto with bacon is wonderful. Great specials. A "must" stop! read more

Have been striving to try Cheesy Chick for a long, long time! Was so worried when they shut down, but I am ecstatic that they are back! Had my first sandwich today, a Grilled Cheese and Bacon on Texas Toast and it was absolutely delicious! 5 Stars! And will be back for more! read more

Tried The Cheesy Chick's Food Truck today on my lunch break. Was a little weary when i saw they didn't have much of a line at all, but I decided to order anyways because I was craving something cheesy. I ended up ordering the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese and a side of Mac & Cheese. First I'll start with my thoughts on the side it was pretty good, but with the sandwich it ended up being too much and next time I don't think i will order a side. My grilled cheese on the other hand was delicious, but beware it's not your typical Buffalo flavoring, on top of the Buffalo sauce they also add a BBQ sauce. I really enjoyed the combination of sauces, it was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The chicken was really good & most importantly the bread was crunchy and not soggy. Is there anything worse than a grilled cheese sandwich on soggy bread. Another great thing was this trucks service, the food came out quick and hot. I'll definitely be back. read more

Do yourself a favor and try the Philly cheese steak grilled cheese. THere is a little something delicious and different about this sandwich. I had intended to share it with my husband, but asked for his half back because it was so fantastic. Friendly, quick service. read more

The Cheesy Chick truck came to my office for lunch today and the food and service were really good. They came several years ago and it was a pretty terrible experience - 45 minute wait time for a cold sandwich with the wrong stuff on it - but they have really gotten their act together. I ordered the pesto sandwich - mozz, pesto and tomato - and it was delightful. The thick bread was just as crispy as a grilled cheese sandwich should be, and the balance of fillings was just right. It was served quickly and while it was hot, the cheese was not completely melted. Still, it was a satisfying and filling lunch. read more

I walked down to the Cheesy Chick today to check it out. I was really disappointed in their menu options -- only two veggie things to try, none of the things I wanted from their online menu available. They should be more clear about what they're offering each day. Decided not to order, so wasted half my lunch break. read more

I am so utterly disappointed. I had a few bucks for lunch and wanted to try the food truck at essjay today. I ordered the veggie wrap.. mistake. If you're going to charge $6 for veggies, please, make it something to remember. Lettuce, tomato, onion, olives, and shredded american cheese with italian dressing slobbed on. I'm sorry, I wanted to enjoy a good lunch, I should have just drove the extra quarter mile to wegmans. read more

Private lunch. They arrived late with zero communication. We had associates that left because the truck was not there and they had work to do. When truck finally arrived, it was staffed by one person. The assembled small crowd had to wait patiently while each order was cooked, prepped, & plated by one person. This took forever. I never ate the food. I had to leave to get my kid to an appt. I stopped at my home and made turkey sandwich. They booked another lunch prior to ours and apparently got held up. Whatever, COMMUNICATE!! Call, text, email. Just let people know the problem so the organizer (me) does not look like a jackass. I've booked other food trucks before and they have been professional. Not this one. read more

This little sandwich truck is sorely under-rated, and top of my list when it comes to the Mobile om nom scene in Buffalo. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered some home made creamy tomato Parmesan soup to dip their wonderful sandwiches in. read more
