The food is amazing and not just the chicken!! I group order through grub hub for our office several times a month. The food always comes fresh and with everyone's name on their item. This seems simple but many restaurants do not follow this request and when 15 orders arrive and they all look the same it's a nightmare. This is one of the first places I ate a year ago when Covid restrictions first started and I was not notified by Grubhub the order was ready and sat in the parking lot for a really long time before going in and finding out it had been sitting there waiting. The location is perfect for our office but I think I may switch to pick up since even if we place our order at 10:30 it doesn't arrive until 12:30. I enjoyed every moment of eating at The Chicken Shack. The staff were so sweet and welcoming and it felt very inviting. The place was clean and provided fast service to everyone. The wait time on receiving the food was good. It came fast and hot. It was my first time there and ordering food was super simple with the help of the owner. They checked to makes sure that everyone dining in was satisfied. Truly genuine and sweet staff. The food was amazing. So this is definitely a walk in and take home sort of place the decor is not inviting you do not want to stay and eat that is for sure. Also no beer I mean who does wings and doesn't have beer? I ordered 12 piece wings and the garlic fries. The garlic fries were really good a little expensive and it would have been nice to have an aioli or some type of dipping sauce. Popped by after reading the reviews as it's been hard for us to find good food around here. Very nice and clean FOH. Employees are very nice and you get a great vibe from them as soon as you walk in. I got boneless wings with potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad is literally to die for. The boneless wings were amazing. Wherever they get their chicken from, it's the best I've ever had. The honey BBQ sauce tastes so homemade and I wish I could take a whole bottle of it. The owner was very nice and came up and we talked for a while and got to know him. I do have one criticism, and that's the sauces. Not the sauces themselves, which are great, but the confusing pricing. There are some sauces that are written in white on the menu and those can apparently be included with a meal, and some are written in yellow, and those are extra. But it doesn't say anywhere how many sauces you get with a meal, which ones are included, which ones are extra, how many you get with the larger (10/20/30 piece) orders, etc. It's confusing every single time. If it would just say on the menu what you get with a meal it would make ordering much simpler. read more

Literally the best fried chicken ever! The chicken fingers were lightly battered and super flakey, the meat was moist and so delicious! The oil used to cook was clean and clear. You could tell from the fried batter on the chicken. The expertise of the frying reminded of the Michelin star restaurants in Japan. No lie. The garlic fries had freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top. Who else do you know uses shaved Parmesan on garlic fries? And fresh too! The chicken legs and wings were perfectly done! Moist when you eat the meat and perfectly cooked. Even after you clean off the cartilage from the bones, it's still moist! Mac 'n' cheese was perfectly al denté and real cheese was used. You can see the shaved cheese melt on top of the noodles. The owner is very friendly and wants to get to know the new customers. Felt like I walked into somebody's home and was served with true southern hospitality. Come to find out, the chef is 17 years old and enjoys cooking. WOW! Is all I can say. We try the Chicken Shack for the first time today. 1. The food was wonderful we try the tenders, wings, Cole slaw, and baked beans. So much better than KFC, but price is a little higher. But my husband found out next time we will share a order as the portions are very large. One thing I liked the best the tenders weren't just skinny ones like you get at most places they were nice thick ones. 2.Customer Service was Great. Made me feel very welcome. 3.It's very clean in there. 4. Not frozen food tasting at all. Their fries are shoestring style with great salty flavoring. Their Mac n cheese is homey style, my kids love it. I like their chicken options and all the side options! I went to the thrift store that is right beside the chicken shack to look through their newest items and I was thinking I would go to the chicken shack and try it and take some home for my husband. Since I was just trying them I did not want to get a huge order so I ordered the five chicken fingers. I agree with someone previously that said that the sauces are confusing and some of them you have to pay for and some you don't. When I took them home my husband could not eat them fast enough. We feel like the coating is on point for seasoning and quality. I felt that the chicken was a little chewy and not the best quality. The place is clean and the staff was friendly.
