Visited this place for my niece's graduation party. There was no wait on Sat 7.30pm. The food portions were big enough for us to share. We started with lobster dip and tortilla chips, which were our favorite. For our mains, the seafood boils and the ultimate feast, both came with a lobster tail, snow crab legs, shrimp, and two sides, they were delicious and fresh. However, the sesame soy salmon bowl was a bit too sweet for our taste. The drinks were hit-or-miss. Peach long island was nice and refreshing, but the main deck margarita flight was quite disappointing because it had an artificial syrup flavor that tasted like cough syrup. This was my first time ever visiting Red Lobster, and I was very impressed. The meal was prepared really well--nothing was overcooked, which made a big difference. The lobster and crab asparagus was absolutely delicious, and the baked potato stood out too, especially with the coarse salt on the skin. The drinks also had a great presentation with beautiful color, which added to the overall experience. Their rewards app is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, which is a nice bonus. The only thing I would suggest improving is the steak. It was cooked to the right temperature, but the outside was a bit chewy. We decided to sit at a small table in the bar. 2 of the tables had not been cleared yet (2 out of 4 I believe), which may have been a clue but they were busy. An employee brought us menus, silverware, & napkins. There were 2-3 employees at the front desk and one bartender, sometimes 2 behind the bar. We sat looking at the menus for quite awhile. I looked at the bartender several times but she never glanced at us. No water, no "I'll be with you in a minute," nada. I have eaten at this Red Lobster on Lancaster many times and never had such an appalling lack of service. We did leave and as we left I said to the 3 employees chatting at the front desk, "No service!" Service was great. Waitress was patient and very kind. Ambiance was nice. I like how they distanced the customers instead of putting everyone close together. Food was nothing special. We had the shrimp fettuccine. It was super salty and bland. The cheesey biscuits were so salty we couldn't finish them. Very disappointing for the price your paying for this food. read more

Do yourself a favor and order the crab from Fred Meyer. Two pounds for $20 and it's way more flavorful and at least 5-6 clusters in a box. Don't ever want to order from them again. read more

I decided to take my mother to lunch today. She wanted to go to Red Lobster. We got there 2:30ish and were promptly seated by the hostess and given menus. Lunch menu was practically non-existent and most items more expensive than dinner entrees! At 3pm we left. Nobody bothered to come by and take our order or bring us water. The place was so empty I wonder if we were the only customers there. Got my mother a fish sandwich at a fast food drive thru. No plans to ever go back to Red Lobster. read more

We had dinner here after hiking at Silverfalls State Park and were on our way to Portland. We stopped off here at about 5pm and it was busy but not wait in line busy. We were seated quickly and we were taken care of by our server, Taylor who was very nice and efficient. I ordered a Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze beer- $6.99 along with an order of the Signature Seafood Mushrooms as an appetizer- $ 13.99 for (6) They also served us complementary Red Lobster biscuits which are delicious. My entree was the Shrimp Scampi- $18.00 which comes with 2 sides (Baked Potato loaded- $ 2.49), wife had the Atlantic Salmon- $26.99 and my son had the lobster linguini- $ 31.99. We had a gift card here and weren't sure what to expect, but the food was great and the service was amazing! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and attentive. Our server was Dylan R. and he was phenomenal! We got the spend-less shrimp and the admiral's platter. Everything, especially the shrimp was 10/10. We got lots of biscuits, including some to go, and they were warm, moist, and delicious. They have some good happy hour deals on weekdays from 3-6pm. Our group of four had a very unsettling experience yesterday. We had a friendly waiter and our food was tasty. 3 of us ordered soup and salad from the menu. When our bills arrived, their charge was $4 over the price on the menu. We pointed out to our waiter but he said he couldn't do anything about it. Two of us then tracked down the manager and after 20 minutes she made it right and said they would need to replace their new menus which were wrong. My wife and I ate a meal on Halloween(her birthday)and had fantastic service, fantastic food; I can still taste the Lobter Bisque Soup. We don't eat here a lot due partially to the cost and just our other tastes but every time we do eat here the quality of food, even the salads, are incredible....the soup is hot enough that you don't have to eat it all right away like at many restaurants, while indulging on the biscuits, and the rest of the meal! I forgot our servers name(she has graying hair w/a nice, nice, smile and cares for all her customers)....we were too full to get the free dessert that comes w/a birthday rewards member so she gave us some biscuits to take home; what a nice gesture! As a Veteran of nearly 20 years of service, I'd never gone to a restaurant that offer free meals on Veterans day, especially in salem, or.. I went to this red lobster on lancaster drive on Veterans Day. I stood in line as the families in front of me were greeted with smiles and thank you for your service from the host. When I was next, the host turned his smile into absolute hatred and told me to show him my ID. I responded with, you didn't ask any of the Veterans in front of me for their ID's. With hatred in his voice, he said, F YOU SPIC, GET THE F OUT OF HERE. I was so shocked, I didn't know what to do and he repeated himself and all of the veterans and their families joined in and started calling Spic and Wetback, also telling me to get the F OUT. I left, feeling sick that this could happen to a Veteran, treated this way. The sad thing about how I was treated by all of these racists, is that I'm not Mexican, but would rather be, than all those hateful people. read more

I ordered to go and arrived at curbside pickup, called the number on the sign, and was told my order would be right out. I waited for 15 minutes and called again. I asked for an update and said I had been waiting 15 minutes. The staff member (different from the first) who picked up the second call started to ask about how I placed the order, and informed that she doesn't do curbside delivery for certain types of orders. I didn't understand what she was getting at and just said, okay, well I spoke to someone 15 minutes who said my food would be right out. Since seafood is always a favorite of mine, I have no concern I won't find something I love. I invited a friend who was meeting me from out of town. She reported (after we were seated) that she had concerns due to a friend's comments (neg. reports from Ptld area establishments). The food was delicious. I had the seafood feast. I enjoyed the crab and the lobster tail. I could've asked for more butter. The coconut shrimp was really good with some kind of creamy pineapple dip. Red Lobster tends to market itself as an upscale chain, when in reality it's kind of on an Applebee's level. Our server was great, and one of the main reasons I still found last night's experience to be A-OK (3-stars). Most of our group went with the "Friday Fish Fry", which is cod fish & chips at a lower price; and I added a cup of chowder. While we waited, they brought out their Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The biscuits had nice texture, but they were absolute salt bombs. They went well with the bland chowder, but were almost inedible on their own. This wasn't off to a good start, but luckily the fish & chips were a little better. Mine came with two large pieces of fish, one of which was good and crispy, with just a little oiliness; and the other which was soft and greasy -- I was having serious deep-fry overload after eating that one. The fish itself was thick and perfectly cooked, and it was very nice with the tartar sauce. It just would have been nice if they were a little crispier, and less greasy. The 'chips' (fries) were the best part of the meal, with a nice golden, crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. For dessert, I went with key lime pie, which I found to be too sweet, without enough lime tang. My daughter got the super rich chocolate cake, which was more my style -- but I wanted something lighter. I'd go with the cake next time. Overall, everything tasted okay; but it was way overpriced for the quality of food. I'd go again if someone gave me a gift card, but that's about it. read more

She is so intelligent, enjoyable and I was delighted to have her wait my table. She is quick and extremely professional. The food is excellent as is the beer and the cheesecake is "to die for." I always love red lobster! This is a place to go if you want big plates of seafood and aren't worried about prices. I tend to come here for my birthday to splurge a bit. Their appetizer bread is always amazing and comes free with the meal. The dishes come in big portions and I always leave with leftovers! Went to Red Lobster for dinner 9/21/23. Hubby ordered Endless Shrimp. Each serving came to our table fresh and hot and he loved it and ate until he almost popped. I came in for their salmon BUT got Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp and Scampi in the yummy butter instead. Like some other patrons mentioned, we are an "older" couple... OK, I said it. Ordered a Fish and Chips dinner for 2 this evening via phone in order and I questioned the price on the dinner for 1 piece of fish and a handful of fries. I asked the person I placed order with if the price was right ($20.00/Order). I stated that $40.00 was kind high for just piece of fish and a handful of fries. He told that there is actually 3 pieces of fish. I told it only showed one piece in the picture. I was sure that there was 3 pieces. I got home with our order and there only 1 pices of fish and most of it was batter. Red Lobster should hire people that know what they are talking about.
