Came here for lunch on a weekend afternoon and was greeted by a kind staff member. He explained how to order online using the Toast link and how you can pick it up at the "online orders" line and in the regular drive-through line if no one is there. There is also a walk-up window in the front and a few tables on the side for outdoor seating that he says they plan to fix up for customers. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was very good. The waffles were soft and had a good flavor while the chicken was freshly fried with good batter. The only thing is that the chicken was a little soggy because it was hot when they put it in the box, so I would recommended they air out the chicken with some ventilation in the box. The prices are great and the quality of the food is great as well. Definitely recommend. The wait can be a bit long because the food is fresh, but it was under 10 minutes, and it seems you can fix that problem by ordering online. 12/10 it's THAT good! I got a Mac chicken sandwich and it was super flavorful and filling! I will say, the chicken is cook to order, but I personally don't mind waiting for that kind of quality. The food was fresh and the chicken was so good! I took a bite before I could take a photo, so the sandwich may have a piece missing...haha The location isn't perfect, but don't let that stop you from trying this place! I think I like it better than most other chicken chain restaurants. They also have other non sandwich items...like a salad, Mac bowls, chicken & waffles. I ordered the waffle and chicken (fingers) combo (X2). Food=The waffles were not made at the moment ordered. It seemed and tasted like it was warmed up in microwave (I love waffles and can tell the difference between freshly made and warmed up mushy waffles.). The chicken were "chicken fingers". The menu doesn't state the type of chicken. It would be good business if it stated the type of chicken. I assumed it was bone in chicken pieces not chicken fingers. I don't like chicken fingers. It was only until I got home that I realized it. Now, I know. It wasn't bad. Just don't like chicken fingers. Portions were fine. The soft drinks were fine. 2) Ordering: big issue and over charging. The cashier and mgr didn't listen to my concern on them over charging because according to them the "machine is perfect" and customer is not. I had the manager use his calculator and add up 2 of the same orders with taxes. It's when he realized I was right and cashier system was programmed wrong and over charging customers. The fact that they didn't care to listen to what I was saying floored me. After all was said and done neither apologized for over charging me and being wrong. If you order one waffle and chicken meal it comes out just fine. It's when the cashier adds 2 orders of the same that they charge $3 for add on drink, while the 1 order of the same charges $1.50 add on. Their trust in their cashier system is law not understanding (like I told them) that a person has to program and into numbers for it to do it's job. I'm no fool and know the operation of these units. Unfortunately, people don't pay attention and often over pay for items. I pay close attention because I've come across many situations like this and I work to hard to let a company steal my money. It appeared that both employees didn't care what I was saying and kept saying that their machines is perfect and I'm wrong, when I know numbers well. Anyhow, I didn't receive an apologize for the mistake. I knew this was a new place and staff are in training, but the owner of this company should train their staff to be better listeners and offer better customer service. Definitely, fix this problem and many more as outlined in this review. I had to ask for the dip sauces, utensils, napkins, which comes with the order. Why? Because they didn't give me any. Focus on details like this is also a training factor. 4) I looked to see if they were making my waffles fresh and at that moment, but I didn't see any waffle machines. Owner, if you're reading this post... it would be good business if you allow customers to see their waffles be made fresh and in front of them. Your business will fly over the top with business because who doesn't want a fresh and made upon order experience? Professionally, I travel worldwide to try new places and observe all these details and post my reviews. I train many new and destroying business and help them gain or increase their customer flow. So, take this free advise and see how you could become a franchise. A business must have these qualities: Fresh and delicious food; 2) Visual desires: see food being made freshly and have see the entire restaurant appears clean and in order; 3) have reasonable prices (which yours does); 4) have exceptional customer service. Making sure staff are knowledgeable and kind to customers with a desire to hear the complaints. People don't complain just to complain. No paying customers want to eat dry, not fresh, reheated food, and tiny portions of food. I'm not talking about Texas portions of food, but what the customer sees being advertised.
