I've ordered here a couple of times for lunch, and it has not disappointed. The lunch special is a real deal, especially with prices rising everywhere. If you're looking for a filling meal that actually tastes great, this is one of the best spots around. I ordered the 2-piece tenders combo, which comes with potato wedges and a piece of toast. The tenders were fresh and made to order, and I really appreciate how clear and accurate their spice levels are. I'm a big spice girl, so I went straight for Bonfire to test the waters, legit heat, very spicy, but still flavorful. For the second tender, I stepped down to Spark, and it was still plenty spicy. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and fully cooked inside (nothing worse than an undercooked potato!). The toast was a nice addition and rounded out the meal well. She honestly saved my dish in my opinion, with her recommendation to add coleslaw! I got the SPARK-level buffalo chicken Mac and cheese with wedges. I didn't go in expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I don't usually like hot chicken style spots. I feel like it's overrated and most of the time it's greasy. The chicken is delicious, super fresh, juicy, crispy. Not overly greasy. Flavorful. They have potato wedges, a+ standing out from the crowd already! They also offer jumbo shrimp. Honestly, the shrimp was the best thing there. Don't skip the shrimp. You have to get those. Other places give you this limpy, skinny piece of toast but here they give you a Texas toast (thicker slice)--oddly, I really enjoyed the toast. It was good. I didn't really like the house sauce but the honey mustard paired so well with everything. The Mac and cheese wasn't really my favorite but my friend really enjoyed it. The food and service are what are great about this place. The mild glow spice is great and their tenders are a hearty size.... I just think the portion sizes on the tacos are hit or miss. They look huge in these photos here, but the $6 Nashville shrimp taco is small and slight larger than a frozen taquito. The flavor was awesome... just small.
