    Super doggo friendly!

This place is absolutely wonderful! Dozens of delicious craft beer, and ciders, the friendliest owners and staff, fun games and coloring books, live music, super chill and always good energy. Oh and VERY doggo friendly!!

    Fancy pudding- golden stout yummmm

Great hidden gem in Chico. The guys know their stuff. Lots of beer choices. Tv's and music. All is good. No stouts on the day we went, but the FANCY PUDDING golden stout was amazing. If you close your eyes when you take a drink, you think that it's a regular dark stout.

    Cheers! Ciders all around.

Ok so this is exactly what Chico has been missing for years. Chico Taproom is located in the strip mall along side Gingers & Round Table Pizza. It's an odd spot but the inside is spacious and open. Plenty of tables and bar seats make it great for big groups. They also had several CIDERS on tap, a must for any bonafide taproom in my opinion. They also had several table top games as well as ping pong and giant jenga in the back room. The staff were knowledgeable and willing to give samples of anything you wanted try. The place cleared out by around 11 PM on a Saturday, but didn't close until midnight so depending on your scene you can arrive either earlier when it's more crowded or wait it out. Would absolutely be back and would recommend to friends and family in the area who want a solid place with friends and want to avoid he masses of college students downtown.

Definitely a fan of this new taproom! It's close to my house which is a major plus, and they have a ton of beers on tap. They allow you to bring in food (whether it be from home, take out, delivery, etc.) and they have a really great game selection. A lot of bar seating as well as bigger tables for groups. Their outdoor patio isn't open yet but they said it would be within the month and dogs are allowed out there when the time comes!

Drink the last of a keg... you get to wear this sexy chain!

Perfect ambiance, not overstimulating, and space is nice and airy. It's my own ritual; I always order beignets, and they are consistently good, light and fluffy. This time I ordered the open face toast with bacon (I'm totally butchering what it's actually called), but it was giving eggs benny, and it was so so delicious. Their hollandaise sauce tasted house made so I asked my server (Katie, amazing, 5 stars. Super personable and friendly) and sure enough I learned B Street is a scratch kitchen (absolutely everything is made in-house). IMPRESSIVE. The whole dish was very hearty, exactly what you'd need after a night out and it didn't sit heavy. Thank you B Street, I'll be back soon ;)

Drinks were fun and fresh Staff attentive and really made us feel welcome Vibe - LOVE IT! The booths are amazing and I love that it was the towne lounge so there's lots of history! Food - the lobster lasagna was delicious. Prime rib cooked on point and loved the sides, they were a little small but the meat made up for it! The duck, it had good flavor but wasn't our favorite good sides though!! 2nd time there.... Staff seemed a little stressed and not as friendly VIBE - LOVED IT! The music started right when we got there and it was perfect for our dinner date. Food - kinda made me sad. The halibut was cooked well but over salted and when it was plated it was a little rough looking. The lamb - tough and did not enjoy it, the rice was bland but the veggies were on point! The others had lobster lasagna and enjoyed and the prime rib and it was just so so that night. drinks: Espresso martini was tasty but served in an odd glass!! Wine was nice and of course when you get anything on the rocks you know what you are in for. Sweets: The Cassata (if I spelled that right) sounded amazing but left us unimpressed. The apple tart had great flavor and was warm which was a nice touch! Overall the 1st visit would have had 5 stars but the 2nd is really a 3 stars so I went with 4. I will try going back because I really want them to do good and enjoy the atmosphere there!!!

Once we found our seat, no one brought us menus...we ended up making friends with the couple next to us and looked at theirs. I told the server it was our first time there, and I'm used to a different response other than being met with silence. I asked if she recommended anything and it was as if she didn't want to interact. We ended up getting pho, steak skewers, rice tots, fried chicken sandwich. I ordered a mocktail which was great. Food was ok, would like to try something else next time. Hubs thought the cheese on the chicken sando was "weird". It's a pretty bar.

Sunlight danced across playfully colored walls, instantly making the space feel welcoming and alive. Innovative and classic cocktails are offered alongside beer and a modest wine selection. The mocktails looked wonderfully thirst-quenching, but my soul was calling for an orange wine. It served its purpose quite nicely. The menu centers on healthier bar food options, and the intention comes through beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and lovingly prepared rather than simply assembled. The offerings lean playful, with subtle Asian influences that keep things interesting. Our group chose to lean in on the more indulgent side of the menu. The rice tots? Unexpected, whimsical, and absolutely worthy of sharing, crispy little conversation starters. We enjoyed this starter with a little bowl of seasoned mixed nuts. But let's discuss the pastrami sandwich. A glorious indulgence layered with melty cheese, kimchi slaw, and piled onto a locally baked brioche bun. Restraint was simply not invited to this meal. My dinner companions opted for the cheeseburger and were completely delighted. Classic in concept, but elevated in execution, right down to the burger sauce, which struck that elusive perfect balance of tangy, savory, and craveable. And the fries? Skinny, McDonald's-style (yes, that's a compliment), with exactly the right crunch and seasoning. Roselle manages that lovely balancing act of feeling casual yet intentional, playful yet polished. A very happy little find in Chico, California.

We had kids with us, so we got there an hour before it became 21+. Everyone was friendly, the food came pretty quick relative to how hopping it was. We ordered: Pho-rench dip (w/fries)--I think this was a DDD sandwich, so it's not some hidden gem, but it was super tasty. You cannot go wrong. The slight lime-iness of the dipping broth really kicked it into turbo. Also, we all likes the steak fries--a note on that later. Chicken Cheese Steak (w/fries)--my wife loved it. I tried a bite, and it was great--a little mushroom-forward, but we like that. Mac and Cheese--do not be fooled by the slightly smaller bowl, it is very filling. My son can eat his birth weight in pasta, and he had to tap out! I tried a bite--it was creamy (not grainy at all), and was just the right amount of salty and cheese-funky. Grilled cheese and tomato soup (w/fries)--perhaps the least successful for my family, but only because my daughter prefers a smoky/spicy tomato soup, and this was more on the sweet side. The griled cheese was of the "crispy cheese on the outside" ilk, which my daughter thought was really good. So, totally would go again. IMPORTANT NOTE (to people traveling through Chico, or who don't want to take leftovers)--the sandwiches are pretty big, and the add-on fry order is also sizeable. If we were going again tomorrow, we would either order 1 fry instead of 3. Or split a sandwich. Very very good pub.
