The director Marsha at this daycare clearly doesn't care about the well-being of the children or the concerns of parents. Despite ongoing issues with over-ratio classrooms and understaffed mornings, nothing ever seems to change. When these concerns were brought up, the director was dismissive and unresponsive. It's clear that the management's priorities are not in the right place, and it creates a very unsafe and unprofessional environment for the kids. I cannot recommend this daycare to anyone who values their child's safety and care. The only positive aspect of this daycare is Robin, the one staff member who truly cares about the children and goes above and beyond. Robin is wonderful and does her best despite the challenging circumstances, but it's unfair that she's left to handle everything on her own. The daycare is severely understaffed, with poor management that doesn't seem to care about the kids or support their staff. While Robin is fantastic, she deserves better, and so do the children. Every time I've interacted with the front staff at this daycare, it's been a frustrating experience. They consistently have bad attitudes, and I've caught them lying straight to my face on multiple occasions. It's clear that they have no interest in addressing concerns or providing accurate information. Their unprofessional behavior only adds to the already poor management and staffing issues at this facility. My son was hurt by a teacher here. She dug her nails into his arm and left marks on him. She is "probably going to be fired". While they still tried to get me to bring my kids back, I will not be doing so. For a center with cameras, I thought I could put my trust in there. I was wrong. read more

My son who has autism have been attending for 2 years. He started at 3 years old and the staff was very patient with him. They were eager to do anything to ensure he was comfortable and adjusted well. He is thriving and was ready and ahead of the class starting kinder. Children's Courtyard has been my saving grace! My son and I just moved from Las Vegas, NV and the staff has been amazing. Moving such a long distance has been a little rough, with starting Kindergarten this year and having to make new friends we've encountered a few bumps along the road; however, the school age teachers have been amazing, working with me during the last few months to help correct some issues that we were having and I couldn't be happier. All of the staff at the Children's Courtyard daycare are phenomenal and show my little guy that he is loved. We love it and I absolutely recommend that you meet with the staff there, they have earned my trust and there is no one I would rather have taking care of my son than Children's Courtyard. read more

Please DO NOT send your kids to this child care center. Such a horrible experience I had with my 4 months old baby here. Teachers constantly harassed me about my baby's cry (can you imagine that!)...telling me that he was too loud for them (seriously?!!). I often found babies sitting butt naked under a full blast fan during peak winters, while teachers chatted and fumbled for the baby's clothes. Worst part - they harassed me so much about my baby not liking my breast milk which was emotionally very draining for me. This was not true of course, my baby did not like taking bottles. The staff here is clueless and lack sensitivity towards new moms. I wish I had known this and many bed my baby to another daycare...I was a new mom and this was my first experience with a daycare. I know better now. If you are reading this review...please spare your child the torture...take them to a better daycare where they are loved and held and cared for. read more

We absolutely love CCY! Our daughter has been going there since she was 12 weeks old and she will be 3 November 2018. The teachers are wonderful! Since the change in Director to Tonya- we have seen a 180 and the school has been OUTSTANDING! My Husband and I love that they frequently come up w new, fun activities for the children and love the diversity of the students. Our little girl is taking Spanish class with Ms. Kristen and she is catching on so well. Ms. Chasity and Ms. Amanda are her current teachers and make a daily impact on our little girl when it comes to school work and life lessons. Hands down- we are so happy with CCY and have no plans of ever leaving. read more

Let me start of by saying at first I was really nervous about sending my son here, because he came from a daycare that I grew up in to a daycare I knew no one at ..... the front staff is amazing and very welcoming when I walk in everyday they have a smile on there face ready to greet me :) but most of all I absolutely love my sons teacher Ms.shunna, Edward has been in her class for about 2 months now and he is doing amazing with his vocabulary and can articulate his words very well thanks to her . Keep in mind my son is only a year and a half . Everything was Anon A said below is true. My infant started two weeks back and I already see so many things that could function better in this location. Yesterday I caught a male worker in the infant room w/o booties walking all over kids toys, carpet and their play area. I called them immediately and when I told them what I saw they said "Oh we ran out of booties that's why". Really??? He could have gone in barefoot if that was the case. This shows me how much love and concern this person has for the kids health and well-being and I am suppose to believe my baby is getting the best care while I am at work. SMH. read more

Ah, adventures in daycare land... There is a new director, Shelly, that has been there for about 4-5 months now. Let me be blunt. The quality of this place has dwindled significantly since her arrival. I previously complained of the arrival procedure & nothing has been done to correct it. Instead, more problems have arisen. She has caused good teachers to leave, overworked some & under worked others. They can't accommodate the children they have, yet she keeps adding more. She comes across as combative even when trying to be nice. And the lies! Oh, the lies are terrible. This aren't presumed lies. These are verified because she will tell you one thing then give you a completely different story the next time you speak. I have spoken with other parents who feel the same way. She blames the prior director for her inadequacies. It's like Obama with Bush...that only works for so long until people realize you're full of crap. We are currently looking for another day care center. If I were you, I'd really evaluate this place before signing up. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT send your children there. In March, I tried this place out. From day 1, it gave me a bad feeling. The director is clueless and careless. My daughter was transferring from the Bryant Irvin location because I switched jobs and worked in Irving. She was in the Pre-K class. The teacher in there was awful! I cannot remember the teacher's name but it was an older, African-American lady. She put my daughter in time out on her 1st day because she didn't raise her hand when she was doing roll call. Beyond stupid! Who does that? And where do they get that right to do that to someone's child for something so petty? I called the state on them and made a complaint with corporate. My daughter hated it there. She's scream cry the 3 days she attended there. It was a big mistake to even try that place out. Do not let your children go there. You'll regret it. Trust me! read more

Very Happy with the facility and especially the staff. My son has gone there since 15 months to 3 years. He enjoyed his time, play, food, friends and didn't have much health issues. Staff and teachers are friendly, flexible and caring. They are open to suggestions and think about improving the facility. Even when we moved out of Irving, we kept going here for almost 2 months because of his and our attachment to this place! Ms Katherine and Ms Ambriya had eased our initial transition to daycare. Later Ms Jessica strikes a good balance between teaching, discipline, and enjoying playtime with kids. You know your kid is in good hands and is cared for. read more

Children's Courtyard in Valley Ranch is great. My children attend the camp in the summer which is full of fun activities and great field trips. They love going each day. They are also a part of the after school program which they also love. When we pick them up around 6pm every day,they both ask me if they can stay longer. Ms Em, who is the school age manager, is fantastic and we trust her 100%. This place is wonderful! read more

Please do not send your child here. I am begging you! The fact that my infant son spent some time here, time I legitimately believe will scar him forever, is heretofore my biggest failure as a parent. The infant room exhibited constant turnover and was ultimately staffed by two exceedingly inexperienced college students. In addition to an utter lack of consistency, there was absolutely no structure, no education, no warmth, and constant chaos. We purchased the cameras and never once saw our child being read to and only very occasionally held. Each morning we walked in, we were greeted with an over-populated room with infant ages that were widely varying. The children were almost always distressed and left in out-dated bouncers or worse yet on the floor, where their agonizing cries were largely ignored. I am serious, there are better places out there. Please give your child a chance and find a better place to send you child. read more
