I have the unique perspective of being a parent of two children in different learning classroom…read moreenvironments. My children also have experienced transitioning from one environment to the next due to age and readiness of skills. Here's a few examples of what I love about my children attending Park Cities Montessori in their crucial early years of life. The skill set of building concentration on one activity and putting it away before moving on to the next is huge. It teaches a sense of order, helps build patience and perseverance within a task, as well as learning how to take turns and wait until the work becomes available. No matter what activity the children engage in, there is a focus on the process and the beauty of slowing down. There is also ample opportunities for the children to experience nature. There is the crucial benefit to circle time and singing with one another and building camaraderie with one another as a class family. Zero screen time is a huge piece of what makes PCM great because it encourages children to use their imagination and engage in exploration when boredom arises. The practical life skills that my children have developed is incredible. When out in public, the amount of strangers that compliment the table manners our children have at such a young age is a testament to the time they spend at PCM. We put the work in at home, but it is with the guidance and advice from PCM that has led us down such a successful path. Plus it's super cute to see our 20 month old walking everywhere he goes with his hands behind his back. Finally, one irreplaceable quality that PCM staff demonstrates is the love they have for each of their children. My son was enrolled in Nido from 9 months old- 18months old. His bond was so strong with his Nido teachers that after he transitioned to the toddler environment, he would constantly want to show them the new things he was learning and show off his new glasses. The staff always made time for him and made him feel seen, even at a young age. My daughter started in the toddler environment when she was 2.5 years old and transitioned to the Children's House environment a month before she turned 3. Changing environments was worrisome because she was going to be part of a larger class with new teachers and it's always hard to start anew. However, she was always filled with joy and looked forward to going to school. She would get sad when the week was coming to an end and I know that's because of the love she had from her teachers and the love of learning they instilled in her. I cannot thank these ladies enough for everything they have done for my children. I also have a unique perspective being a toddler teacher at PCM and have grown very attached to my class of children. We learn all kinds of skill sets together from putting on our shoes independently, to what it means to listen and create friendships with each other, to learning endless vocabulary, as well as learning how to navigate through big feelings with one another. The children have become a part of me and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Tears fill my eyes as I write this review because I'm so grateful for Park Cities Montessori. Do yourself a favor and get on the waiting list- fast. You do not want to miss the opportunity for your children and family to join an incredible community.

I was surprised to see children from this school using a playground that looked like this…read more From what I observed, the outdoor area appeared poorly maintained and far below what I would expect from a private Montessori school. There is very little play equipment, large areas of bare dirt, worn-out artificial turf, dirty picnic tables, and the overall space looks neglected rather than welcoming for young children. I am not a parent at this school, but as someone who happened to see the children here, I was honestly shocked. Families paying private-school tuition would reasonably expect a clean, well-maintained, and engaging outdoor environment. I hope the school considers improving the playground or finding a better location for outdoor activities.

They leaned all their weight against the babies when washing their faces in the sink (which can injure their organs), lifted them by one arm (which can dislocate their shoulder), grabbed them aggressively, shoved food in their mouths aggressively, made them stay in their cribs for several hours, yelled at them for wanting to get up or for crying, swaddled them when that's against the law in daycare, and spent a lot of time texting & talking on their phones instead of watching the babies. The Lead Teacher in the Toddler Room was very impatient & squeezed their shoulders when they didn't obey, instead of using redirection. I explained these things to the director, but she said, "It's going to be a lot of work to replace those teachers." I later asked her what she was going to do about the incidents & she said her lawyer told her not to talk to me about it, so I reported the incidents to Child Care Licensing. They visited the school, but weren't able to do anything because I didn't have pictures or videos. I asked the director to install cameras, but she said no. Something must be done to bring awareness to the parents. Those lead teachers are still there & the director doesn't want to make the effort to replace them.

just now New I would…read morelike to start off by saying.... I am a first time grandmother and it is truly a blessing. We did not think that we would have needed childcare... but I must say the search has been so stressful annd overwhelming ...until Celebree and Mrs Mindi. I have researched, called and read reviews of all the prestigious child care facilities locally. It's crazy because I just started a new job ... working Monday thru Friday getting off at 5:30pm.. so that makes interviewing any childcare facility during the week IMPOSSIBLE. And wait... mostly all the facilities are closed on the weekends. My daughter is going to school during the week and doing her exterm... so .. she could not visit as well. I spoke to many facilities that just could not accommodate a visit after hours... nor a scheduled visit or interview on a Saturday morning. I found a few that would allow me to send someone else to view on my behalf during the week... or just simply direct led me to their website. Well, I was blessed with a call back from Mindi at Celebree letting me know that she was willing to open up the Daycare just for myself, my daughter and my grandbaby to visit Saturday at 9am. The facility is closed on that day... however the accommodation was stellar. Not only did she give us a personal tour... but she allowed my baby to get down and experience the facility briefly. We were not rushed at all... she went over everything. Mindi didn't know how much this meant to me. She sacrificed a portion of her time.... Just for us. No directing me to a website to pictures. She interacted with my granddaughter.... and she was just happy and full of smiles. This made me feel confident about making a decision of choosing Celebree. The fact that she made us a priority... when so many other childcare facilities were willing to just let us walk away. My granddaughter was just another child to them... but Mindi made us feel like family! And that's important... as parents we must feel secure in knowing that we are leaving our babies in safe hands... and with people that truly care. We start next week, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I stopped by today... just to confirm and do paperwork and I was greeted by Evette and Celeste. Both friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience... as it should be anytime one is making a decision about care for a child. I am so thankful for Mindi calling me back... because if not... I would have been stuck with basic choices... instead of getting the best in service! I appreciate all of their time, patience, and concern! Thank you!

From the moment I walked through the door, it was clear that this preschool goes above and beyond in every way. These two women were so welcoming and kind. It's evident that they have thought through every detail to ensure a nurturing and educational setting.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT taking your children to this childcare center. The staff is very…read moreunprofessional and the caregivers do not take proper care or pay close enough attention to the children. My son came home with a deep cut on his finger and busted lip and no one could explain what happened. They offered to change his class which I did but never felt comfortable because the new classroom was not Visible from the outside as the first one was. I've witnessed caregivers being very rough with the children , including my own , when she was changing his diaper and didn't realize I was standing outside the window , she throw up down very aggressively and changed his diaper rough. I convinced myself I was being paranoid because he's my "baby" but i wasn't. As mothers we have intuition and we have to trust it. Mother to mother, find another daycare, there's tons of other options within miles. I will also try to upload the photo of my sons injuries and the email I sent addressing this matter.

This place is huge! I was surprised when I found out that they care for almost 300 little ones…read moredaily, the whole place is so clean and organized. Since the Centre is in the SW Medical complex, they cater to the babies of those employees but non-employees can bring their little ones here too. My two year old has only gone for a day but she absolutely loves it! I'll update later... Update: It's now 5 months since my initial post and I'm just so grateful for this place. I love that parents have to go through 3 passcode protected places to get into the facility: once to get into the parking garage if you go that route, once on the external door of the daycare, and once more after you've checked your little ones in with your fingerprint. Other daycares make you wait upfront and they go get your kid....not a fan. I like the built in accountability that places on staff. If a parent can walk in at any moment, staff really have to be fully aware of every action taken and word spoken. I have an infant and a preschooler who both love it. There are set schedules for each class and my infant has gotten super strong from all the tummy time she gets. She loves being around the other babies and they grin and giggle when they get to bounce up and down on their bouncers together. The staff are wonderful and I haven't seen any turnover. Parents of infants, take note, there's pretty much always a waiting list. I've talked to several moms who put their little ones on the waiting list while they were still pregnant...but you might get lucky.
