A small, Canadian chain in downtown London, it fit our needs perfectly. It has a casual atmosphere with a huge menu and lots of beer on tap. TVs for the game, and lots of seating for the group of us. Even better, the wings are half price on Wednesday and beer is $5 a pint. I call this a win-win for us! The wings have never let me down. They are delicious! I recommend the Smokey BBQ, then add the hot sauce on top (all the flavours are conveniently located in bottles on the table so you can customize to your tastes). The corn bread muffins are huge and filled with a cube of melted cheddar and bits of jalapeno. I could eat a dozen of these. My guilty pleasure though? Those pork n' beans! These are shockingly good. I often order a side of these on their own. They are packed with flavour and pieces of smoked pork belly. Lou Dawgs isn't the fanciest joint on Richmond Row but if you're looking for a chilled out southern bbq vibe, this is the place to go. Plus, they have a decent vegetarian menu for your veggie pals to enjoy. They have live music on some nights and even brunch on Sundays. Oh and don't let me forget, $5 shots of Jack all day, everyday. Happy hot pot the servers give you a menu which a marker is included you simply choose dinner or lunch menu by ticking a small box continue by following the menu down choosing from an assortment of items 1st: choose your broth from normal to ultra spicy 2nd: choose from : bok choy, mini bok, fungi, mushrooms, enoki, spinach, winter green, baby corn, rice etc. Meats: chicken , lamb, pork, beef, kobe beef. 3rd: While waiting for your order to come your server places the broth and it sets to boil in 10mins. During this time go to the back room (sauce/drink station) opotsite the bar area. You will find asstmt of sauces here from seaseme seed, BBQ, satay, peanut, hosan, Siracha, minced garlic, mined onion, coriander, leek sauce... Mix and match the sauces how you want then grab grab a drink and head back to your table. Going forward your yummy foods will start arriving, simply start placing your item in the boiling soup with chop sticks provided (they give a scoop for those not so good with chop sticks) the veggies cook much like your own home so don't leave them in to long.
