My girlfriend moved to this area a few weeks ago and I decided to walk up the street to check this place out one afternoon. I come here every day on the weekends now and I'm considering renting a locker if there's anything available; I haven't inquired yet. This is place run by people that really are all about cigars. They know their product and they're in it for the experience. It's very inviting and the clientele that come in are super friendly. I'm a pretty quiet person by default. I tend to come in and keep to myself and I feel totally welcome here doing so. They have a great selection, I always try something new while I'm here. They seem to also stock a lot of pricier, rare sticks that I don't see elsewhere. You'll notice this place is vastly different from those hybrid smoke/head shops and this caters to actual cigar afficionados. Even if you've never smoked a stick before but you're curious, you should absolutely stop in and ask the owners for a recommendation. Smoking a cigar can be challenging. Most of the cigar shops don't have a very nice lounge, and the crowd in the tend to get into uncivilized impolite conversations . The only option is left to smoke is in your backyard, which weather becomes a problem. The next option would be is to find a cigar lounge. that is not too small not too crowded and not too noisy. Well, the cigar factory Lounge perfectly fits all of the requirements for me. The place is beautiful very spacious nicely set up with nice lounge chairs, and an excellent selection of premium cigars. The owner is extremely nice. Good decent crowd. Great sound insulation prevents sound echoing. There are three different sections with huge, comfortable couches that even if you're enjoying your cigar in any section, you can hold a conversation with a friend, or enjoy by yourself without any interruption. Frankly, the only place that I can think of are the expensive and exclusive member required cigar clubs in West LA or Beverly Hills with big price tag and drama. At this place, cigar prices are extremely reasonable. You can bring in your coffee or refreshment and they sell cold beverages to accompany your cigar. And it's very clean! Excellent lounge. Recently discovered them after living 5mins away for years, now I'm here 4x a week. The regulars are inviting, everyone knows everyone on a first name basis. Firas knows his client base and remembers what you like to smoke, and recommends new sticks based on that (WOW!) Selection is killer. Regularly has multiple limiteds from Fuente/FFOX, Padron, Drew Estate, etc and has a ton of boutique brands as well. I've even done work bonding events here and the owners will reserve space for us. Seems like a comfortable, clean, (except for the air lol) establishment with a large selection of cigars to chose from. They have large recliners, large TV , and a few gentleman enjoying their cigars. I happen to stumble onto this place in buying the host of a New Year's Eve party his favorite cigar. I absolutely love this place. I've been going regularly for a few years now, but I have started going most days of the week recently. I treat it like an office, except that with this "office" I actually enjoy being there. There are so many good features of the place that it is hard to know where to begin: (1) the owners are incredibly nice, interesting to talk to, and concerned to make sure that their customers are supremely satisfied. (2) The selection is truly exceptional, and the cigars are always perfectly humidified and cared for. (3) It's clean, spacious and really comfortable. (4) The prices are really reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the cigars. (5) The people who are regulars there are all very friendly, but also respectful of my personal space when I want to focus in on getting work done (unlike some other lounges I have been to where the regulars can sometimes impose themselves on someone who is clearly trying to "tune out" and get work done). (6) The owners themselves really love cigars, and it shows. Both Michel and Firas are extremely knowledgeable and give excellent advice whenever I want to try out a new cigar (I've been smoking cigars regularly for around thirty years, and despite all that experience, I frequently learn new things from both men. If either of them recommend a new cigar to me, I immediately jump on it. Firas even remembers what cigars I have already smoked and how well I liked them better than I do! I don't know how he does it, given the sheer volume of people he interacts with each day). The fact that they love cigars so much--beyond seeing them purely as a way to make money--really manifests itself in the overall exceptional atmosphere of the place. The bottom line is that this store deserves the high rating it has earned in the time it has been in business. I have visited many, many cigar lounges over the years, almost as a hobby unto itself. I have only ever found one other place that even came close to rivaling The Cigar Factory Lounge, but it was a very high end place in Los Angeles that charged a huge fee just to be able to use their lounge. Often enough, in my experience, cigar lounge employees can be grumpy and condescending, treating their customers as if they (the cigar lounge employees) were doing the customer a favor by selling them their overpriced cigars. The Cigar Factory Lounge is the absolute opposite of those kind of places. If someone is a cigar aficionado or just a beginner looking to try things out, you really can't do better than this place. I'm actually a bit embarrassed that I haven't posted a review before this, especially considering all the enjoyment I've gotten from it over the years. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this place. Do yourself a favor and go experience it for yourself, if you haven't done so already. You won't be disappointed. read more

New cigar smoker here. My buddy got me started, but lives an hour away. Nice to have a local brick and mortar shop with good selection and atmosphere. I was kind of intimidated to go into the humidor at first, but Firas (owner?) is down to earth and helped me out finding some great cigars. My friends and I have visited many cigar shops and lounges throughout Los Angeles and Ventura county and this place is by far my favorite. It has the best stocked humidor and fairest prices. I recently bought​ a variety of cigars for a party and got high quality stuff that were not moldy or dry at a great price. I was able to find a good selection of Ghurkas and the Monte Cristo - White Label. I've never seen these at a shop but usually only online. They even have my personal favorite cigar, Sancho Panza. Not a rare or expensive cigar, just not very easily found. The service is great and my friends and I love going here. I'm glad and lucky that this place is right in the middle of Simi Valley. It has been about a month since I first hit the Cigar Factory Lounge. I stand by my first impressions and initial review, 5 stars. I only give it 4 stars now in hopes that the review sticks around for a while. I'm not sure why yelp shows 10 reviews as not recommended (flawed Yelp Algorithm). Guess when a new business opens, it can't have too many good reviews, because they get dropped. Not even one review is worthy?? Read all the reviews and you be the judge. The humidor has filled out nicely with several new selections. The pipe tobacco choices have increased along with the accessories. I expressed an interest in trying a particular cigar and surprise, the next time I stopped by, the owner had ordered it in. I see many regular customers and usually meet somebody new when I visit. More seating is around the corner, which is a good thing, as the crowd is growing. Still the best option for a cigar and escape in the Simi Valley area. read more
