City Golf is a great experience for beginners and pros and everything in between whether you're wanting to dodge the sun, the rain or just wanting to hone in on your skills. I took my husband there for his birthday and selected a bay for two people. This was our first time so we didn't really know what to expect. We picked a virtual course in Korea which was on the tougher side but still had a good time. The bay was semi private which was exactly what we wanted. The ball sets up automatically and upon each swing, it rolls down the side and another ball sets right up. You can also pause and take a look at your swing analysis. My husband always asks me what's wrong with his swing so this was perfect. You're able to see where the ball made contact, face angle, back spin, and all the analysis you can request for to make your next swing better. They offer custom club fitting and classes. If we didn't live so far away, this would be a good option to improve our game. Plenty of parking since it's inside the shopping center where HMart is at. Go up the escalator and you'll see it in the corner. Easy to find. Easy to park. No hassle experience. Great place to would come again if in the area.

Such a cool place! I took my daughters here and they were stoked that they could watch themselves on the screen. The touch screen launch monitors are fairly easy to use and you can make just about any adjustment you can think of. My girls enjoyed tracking their performance. Great alternative to an outdoor range, especially now that it's getting colder. If we lived closer, we would be here all of the time! The space is very clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The cost is $30 per hour or $15 for 30 minutes. They also offer packages and memberships. They are located inside of the City Center which is an indoor shopping center. You can park in the garage with validation. The range is super accessible and convenient.

This place was a pleasant surprise. If you want to stay cool and go to indoor driving range that is super high tech and gives you all kinds of data to confirm that you suck at golf. This is a place for you. On a serious note, the data and the videos help your golf game out a lot. After this I went out and played nine holes and my game improved. I'll be back soon

Empty place insisting they were full.

I liked the perfect system so much, and it was so nice because it was raining, hot, and perfect to practice at night.

Ask the Community - The City Golf

What bay has the putting green/simulator?

We have a putting area separately. You will have to call the store to make the reservation for that.

Can I play virtual courses or is it more like a driving range?

It's more like a driving range. We do not have any course that you can play on.

Do you have slow motion alignment equipment?

Yes, rangex system has slow motion cameras for swings (front & side) and for ball striking as well.

Do you have to bring your own clubs? Starting over at an older age and don't want to buy the wrong clubs. Thank you.

Hi, yes, you will need to bring your own clubs. We do not have any rental clubs available. Thank you.

Does this place offer paid instructor or how does it work? I used to take golf a few years ago but have not taken any lessons or touched the club since 2 years ago. I would like to come back and take some lessons. Thank you for answering

Is pricing per person or per bay? And do they offer food/drink at the facility? Are you allowed to bring your own?

Our policy is 1 hitter per station, so technically, the pricing should be per person. No, we do not sell food or drinks at the facility. We do provide water.…

But it now caters to a younger crowd and has substantial co-working space. I've certain found more members using the facilities but also discovered quite a bit of new programmings like the Pilates classes, mahjong club, live jazz performances and movie nights. I was not really sure about the change at the beginning but I am now fully embracing the new LAAC. Many of the staff and members have been here for a long time and it is nice to be greeted by familiar faces when coming to the club. The restaurants are pretty decent. Love to top my salad with a nice piece of salmon after workout at the Famous Players or have a tasty glass of scotch while enjoying the live jazz performance at the Invention. The sports bar Duke's has great happy hours and fun monthly evening karaoke or chess club meetings. The only thing I complain about is the need for shock absorbance and insulation of the noise or moving the weight station. The northwest corner of the Famous Players near Olive Street shakes every time the weightlifters drop their weights, which is very annoying and distracting for the diners. Feel like the ceiling or floor is going to drop out. No joke. For now, I would sit as far away from the northwest corner as I possibly can. But hope the club would look into it. I have been trying to sign up for the monthly wine tasting but they are always full. Maybe consider having the event more frequently or scale up? Regardless, I am still exploring all the new offerings at the club and really pleased with the Pilates classes and the live music performances. Although I am apprehensive when I first see the co-working space and the influx of new members, I now appreciate the additional events and classes that come with the new members and hope the club continues to do well and do better as I am here to stay.

As usual, water in the room costs money, and there are a few other products with hidden price tags in the room, too. Surprisingly, toothbrush and toothpaste was not provided. The water for showering also doesn't get too hot. In terms of the athletic space, the machines were very easy to access. There was never a wait even on weekend afternoons. The lap pool was my favorite part - clean and calm. There was some miscommunication between the lobby and the store, as one said there is no reservation system but there in fact was. But even when told all the lanes were fully reserved, more than half weren't in use. Parking is a bit of a hassle; for non-members it's definitely not worth it. At the time of visit, the parking machine wasn't working. There are also sperate elevators for parking vs the athletic club / hotel area which was a little confusing. The stair numbers also didn't coordinate the best with actual level.

The sim tech was a game-changer--showing me an instant replay (on the grass!!) of my club face and impact, which made it super easy to tweak my swing right away. I can see this being the perfect spot to bring a coach, especially when the range is crowded or noisy. As a beginner, I sometimes feel a bit self-conscious getting coaching feedback at the range... so this was a great change of pace! I also had so much fun with the Puttview--it's a great way to practice putting differently (my fave games were Putt Pong and Darts). Plus, it was nice to relax in the lobby area after practicing and I definitely took advantage of the snack bar LOL. I was initially worried about parking, but there was actually tons of street parking right out front or just a block away on the residential streets. Overall, highly recommend whether it's for solo practicing, golf lessons with a coach, or socializing with friends!
