    I brought my Silverado into Maritime due to it not being able to start correctly. I brought it here…read more3/21, and was told that the diagnostic results will be given to me by the weekend- leading to a call about the supposed issue being the cylinder and key. I received another call about their ALSO being electrical issues, and the technicians were going to check and see what was failing; therefore telling me I had to wait until next week to get my car back. After they figured out the trucks issues they gave me my price and I gave them the go ahead- they told me I should have my vehicle by Saturday, then by Monday, and then eventually today 4/1 I finally got it, but I can't say I'm satisfied with the results. The key fires right up- they also gave me two new ones, and the replaced cylinder works just fine. Since I was getting my trucks issues repaired, I decided to fix my broken cylinder on the drivers-side door. To my surprise I get a call saying that they replaced the broken cylinder, but it doesn't work because the rod and actual lock inside of the truck is broken too- ???? You mean to tell me that they opened up my door panel... and didn't realize that the rest was damaged? They still had the audacity to tell me they could charge me more to order parts and whatnot, and fix the issue but one of the parts was discontinued so it would be a little harder to find. Yeah, no thanks. This was a hard lesson to learn, but at least my car starts up normally. Lucas was great, but it started getting old quick. Hopefully I won't need to bring my truck to the dealer again, but if I do- it probably won't be here.

    WARNING -- DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP…read more I had been speaking with their salesperson for over a week and made it very clear that my credit is low and that I urgently need a car to work and take my child to medical treatment. They repeatedly assured me that I was approved and that the payment would be about $300 per month. When I arrived at the dealership, they aggressively pressured me to leave a deposit immediately. Trusting their word, I paid $4,500. Only AFTER taking my money did they suddenly change the terms and say the monthly payment would actually be $560 -- almost double what was promised. I refused the deal and requested my money back. Now it has been over 10 days, and they still have my money. They keep telling me to come back "tomorrow" for the refund. Each time I go, they ask for my card again, claim they processed the refund, and then nothing happens. I have already been there multiple times. Today I called my bank, and they informed me that the refund was canceled by the merchant. Meanwhile, my family has been without a car, my wife cannot work (she drives for Uber), and I am struggling to take my child to school and treatment because of this situation. This business uses bait-and-switch tactics, high-pressure sales, and delays refunds while holding your money hostage. Be extremely careful. Read the 1-star reviews -- those reflect the real experience. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this dealership.

The design, the comfort, the technology--everything made me feel like I had made the perfect choice. I was so impressed that in 2025, I brought my ex-wife to the dealership, and she ended up getting an IONIQ 5. And honestly, that car is a showstopper. The futuristic design, the smooth electric drive, and the premium feel make it one of the most beautiful cars Hyundai has ever released. Both experiences confirmed one thing: Hyundai is on another level. Their vehicles are reliable, stylish, and packed with innovation. I couldn't be happier with our decisions. Highly recommended!

    BEWARE/WARNING TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS…read more I can say with heartfelt emotion Balise Hyundai of Fairfield confirmed my car buying experience to be the absolute WORST! My experience with Balise has been one of the most stressful, frustrating, exhausting, time-consuming, and damaging customer experiences I have ever encountered. I cannot recommend this car dealership and believe its devious business practices and untrustworthy pattern of conduct warrant closer scrutiny by consumer state and federal regulators. I canceled my vehicle warranty and was entitled to a $3,450 refund that was to be applied to my loan balance. A refund check was issued and sent to my finance company Ally Financial, but later Balise placed a stop payment on the refund check. I can only speculate Balise's motive for placing a stop payment on my refund check as the finance guy, Nicholas Salmeri (who is no longer employed there) did not seem too happy when I canceled the warranty that was added to my loan agreement without my knowledge. Subsequently, Balise's actions and the disposition of the warranty refund became the subject of a prolonged unresolved dispute. I spent an extreme amount of time contacting the dealership, the warranty company and the finance company (via phone calls, via emails, and in person) to resolve the warranty refund issue. I experienced months of the dealership shifting the blame, confusion, unanswered questions, and conflicting information. The dealership failed to provide clear information regarding the handling of the canceled warranty refund and did not adequately explain why the warranty refund was not properly credited to my loan balance. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase dealership staff to rectify offenses and misconduct. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, the total disregard for the financial harm caused to me or the lack of accountability by Balise merit review by state and federal regulators to determine whether applicable consumer protection laws, lending requirements and refund processing obligations were properly followed. What should have been a straightforward warranty cancellation turned into a serious financial dispute that caused significant stress and financial hardship. Balise's misconduct has caused my car to be repossessed as the loan amount allegedly owed was directly related to the unresolved warranty refund. The financial and personal consequences of Balise's actions have been significant, and the lack of accountability has only compounded the damage done to me. I have filed complaints with the state and federal regulatory agencies and preparing to seek legal counsel to recover all damages suffered and pursue statutory damages under Connecticut law.
