This was a solid experience for a diner! The food was wonderful and exactly as expected. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The diner itself was very clean and had an old school diner feel. If I'm in Richmond Hill again, I'll most certainly be back!

My wife and I had breakfast here on a Tuesday. The restaurant is clean and well-staffed. The coffee is good and hot and the food was served quickly and correctly. We really enjoyed our meals here.

Wow. $50 for one omelette with toast, two eggs up with side of bacon, 1 toasted muffin and 2 coffees. Prices were just raised two weeks ago. There's no reason for that. Their prices were on the high side as it was. Service is good. Same staff. Always a good sign. And food is good. Not arguing with quality or quantity. But those prices are outrageous. Two stars for heavy price increase. Will not return again so soon. And was our favorite diner.

The classic diner definitely lives up to its name. There's no bells or whistles here, just classic hearty breakfasts done very well. The parking lot is really small and narrowly shaped but there's plenty of street parking nearby. We ordered: * Breakfast Quesadilla ($15.50) * Irish Breakfast ($15.95) * Farmer's Omelette ($14.95) * Cheese Blintzes ($12.95) * Large Orange Juice ($4.50) spent roughly $80 with tip. Service here was great, we had a kind server and staff was on point with refilling coffee (which was freshly brewed and not burnt!) I loved my breakfast quesadilla. The mushrooms and jalapeños with the grilled chicken breast covered in mozzarella goodness kept me full all morning. I love how it comes with sour cream, mild salsa, and guacamole. The cheese blintzes were great, it was a good mixture of salty, sweet, and savory, especially when you pair it with the sour cream or applesauce or a combination of both. The rest of my party enjoyed their Irish breakfast and Farmer's Omelette. I would love to come back here for breakfast again!

If you're ever craving the old-school diner burgers that we all grew up on - then this Greek-owned diner is the spot. Diners are a dying breed in the city these days so once we stumbled in here, we automatically were in nostalgia. The burgers were big and juicy and came out exactly how we wanted them. I opted out for the onion rings for an extra two dollar charge and it was totally worth it. They were real in-house made onion rings - large and freshly fried. They also have a parking lot which is great for Kew Gardens. If you're ever in the area, give them a try!

The food comes out piping hot, the service is friendly and efficient, can't really ask for much more. However, my poached eggs were slightly overcooked this time around

Is there outdoor seating due to COVID 19?

Yes. There are two rows of tables, with umbrellas, on the sidewalk that goes along the side of the diner. They look like they'd seat enough patrons at any time.

    Is there parking?

    Yes, plus street parking.

We were also intrigued to try the sangria that yelp raved about. We got a pitcher! It did NOT disappoint. It was a decent size pitcher for the price. Roza came to us and asked if we liked it and told us it was her recipe. No sugar ,No soda .It was tasty, thick full of fruit and definitely had liquor because I left with a buzz She also brought out the rosè for us to try pretty good too very refreshing will definitely do that one in warmer weather. I got the Dbar burger it was good but so big I didn't finish it all. My husband got the rib eye burger. He liked it but it was a little to greasy for him he didn't finish it. My 13 year old wanted breakfast. It was not in the menu but we figured we ask since it is a diner. She got pancakes with fruit and scrambled eggs. My youngest daughter got from the kids menu grilled cheese with fruit she enjoyed it so much we had to order another. Both girls for the marshmallow milkshake they LOVED it! For appetizers we got calamari good but could've used a little more breading. Also got chips with guacamole and honestly for a diner it was delicious. Everyone was friendly. Roza knew she had a bday past since we conversed for a bit and suggested we can sing her happy bday and asked what she liked I told her chocolate cake. They asked for the correct spelling of her name which I thought was sweet. Anyway the staff came out and sang with us super cool. Even the bathrooms are really clean. It was a great experience will definitely come back.I must be honest it's a hit pricey. The price for the pancakes with eggs was $23 when we saw the bill I was a little surprised. Kids' meals are $13 and I thought we were getting the cake (free, lol) since I technically didn't suggest it. It was $12 for a slice. But overall it was a pleasure she even gave us a sample of vodka with lemon and ginger which was actually good and helps settle the stomach.

There's one person who works behind the counter and I assume one person who is doing the cooking. I got the pancakes with blueberries with a side of bacon and the honey cinnamon latte. I heard him making jokes with customers and asking people for feedback. Now to the rest of it: service is weird and slow. When we were seated, we had to wait a little bit until receiving menus. Water wasn't automatically given to us also, so you have to ask. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.

It has very good quality food and excellent service. Other than the owner, most servers barely can communicate in English. However, I always felt welcomed and appreciated. In today's environment with so much hatred in the air, this place feels like an oasis right in my backyard. The food is always solid, with the salami breakfast plate being one of my favorites. It comes with three pieces of juicy and flavorful thick cut salami and three pieces fried cheese, two perfectly cooked running eggs, along with mashed plantains. Delicious! I also like their lunch foods, such as pernil and oxtail. The turkey wings are tasty, but a but dry. Their soups are some of my most ordered items as well. My usuals are the trip stew and cow's foot soup. If you look at the crowd, you'll notice a mix of latinos and locals who recognize this small shop as a neighborhood gem.
