    Clay house burger

Clay house burger is so good! Like insanely good for a cafe. And the coffee is perfect. Will come again.

There's a parking lot with plenty of spaces. It's in a strip mall and not hard to miss. Very spacious inside, but I do feel like it could be warmed up a bit to make it more welcoming. The woman at the counter was so friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job answering questions. The food was reasonably priced as well as the drinks. They had a great selection. The food came out fast as well as the drinks. Cute place and recommend.

We actually ended up grabbing one of the last tables in the place. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. It's warm, cozy, and full of energy. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. One of the crêpes we got was the Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake, which was sweet, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't overly sugary but definitely dessert worthy. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delicious!! Our specialty coffees for the month were also excellent. They had a fun Valentine's themed lineup, and both drinks were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I got the Not Your Sweetheart Latte and Ryan got the Chocolate Heartbreak Cold brew. If you go, one thing you absolutely have to try are their chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They have Rice Krispies in them so they're crunchy inside, and they're ridiculously good. Yes, it's a local coffee shop, so prices are a little higher than a diner, but honestly it's no worse than Starbucks and the quality, atmosphere, and uniqueness are miles better. They also have multiple locations, but the Lebanon shop has a great vibe and is clearly loved by the community.

I quickly googled cleanest restaurants near me and Hearth Family was the closest. We were so pleased to walk in and have the smell of coffee and tea greet our noses!!! It looked clean too. We were the only ones there. After we placed our orders another couple walked in. We ordered a steak, stuffed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, salad, chicken Alfredo, Manhattan clam chowder, fried mushrooms. The soup was very good. It tasted homemade. The potatoes in it were so tender! The clams were a bit chewy. The fried mushrooms were crispy on outside and juicy inside. I thought a chimichurri sauce or garlic aioli on the side wouldn't been a great complement to this appetizer. The salad was a regular garden fresh salad but the blue cheese dressing was very creamy and delicious. The steak was typically as diner steaks are. The Alfredo sauce had no flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente but with no salt so it too had no flavor. The chicken tasted like frozen chicken and I was afraid to eat it as some of it looked like it wasn't fully cooked. I should know better not to order pasta at a diner! My bad, I really wanted good pasta. Well the other items were good. The service was great, attentive and friendly. There is plenty of parking on either side of establishment. The restrooms are hot as an oven, no a/c!?!?

The restaurant is clean every time I go and I like that they have small juke boxes where you can play music while you're waiting for your food. I came here with my wife and daughter recently and the waitress we had was nice but she was barely at our table and too busy to top off our drinks. I will only come back if they work on their lunch and dinner options.

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.

We had a party of 8 and our server was awesome and didn't miss a beat. From the outside, looks small. On the inside, TONS of seating and comfortably as well! My wife's meal was supposed to come with a free donut that we did not get. I was disappointed with the use of single use syrup, butter and cream packages. Those single use containers aren't recyclable and not biodegradable. I was surprised that this business isn't concerned about the environment.
