We actually ended up grabbing one of the last tables in the place. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. It's warm, cozy, and full of energy. You can tell it's a community favorite. We ordered two crêpes and a couple of their February specialty coffees, and everything was fantastic. One of the crêpes we got was the Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake, which was sweet, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It wasn't overly sugary but definitely dessert worthy. The other was a savory crêpe with called California dreamin' with provolone cheese, bacon, spring onion, apples, and arugula with a balsamic glaze and garlic aioli, which ended up being such a great combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delicious!! Our specialty coffees for the month were also excellent. They had a fun Valentine's themed lineup, and both drinks were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I got the Not Your Sweetheart Latte and Ryan got the Chocolate Heartbreak Cold brew. If you go, one thing you absolutely have to try are their chocolate covered peanut butter balls. They have Rice Krispies in them so they're crunchy inside, and they're ridiculously good. Yes, it's a local coffee shop, so prices are a little higher than a diner, but honestly it's no worse than Starbucks and the quality, atmosphere, and uniqueness are miles better. They also have multiple locations, but the Lebanon shop has a great vibe and is clearly loved by the community.

The staff are cheery, and super kind that makes you feel oh so welcomed. We sit and are immediately greeted by a warm server who asks if we wanted coffee...we say "of course" and she sit a pot on the table for us to fill as we need...I believe this was their bottomless coffee option. Then, to order we split things....we split the fig and pig benny and the bacon and cheddar quiche. Both were DELISH! The fig and pig was a perfect balance of sweetness from the fig jam with the buttery notes of the hollandaise and savory of the ham, brought together with a perfectly poached egg. The only criticism I would say to this dish, is that they slightly broke their emulsion with the hollandaise, but it still tasted very good! As for the quiche, it had a perfectly flaky crust and the filling was the right balance of bacon to cheese ratio that made you keep going back for another bite. I also loved the side of seasoned tomatoes; it was a perfect fresh contrast to the decadent dish it was paired with. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

The location has some homage to Lebanon and it is great for serving up a great party atmosphere! We got Caramel Millionaire, Peanut Butter Oreo and Vanilla Party for our daughter! Their…read morecupcakes are hands-down the most flavorful, soft, decadent little masterpieces I've ever tasted. I have never had a bad flavor here. Not once. My year-round ride-or-die is the Strawberry Champagne... dreamy, sweet, a little bougie, and absolutely addictive. But the current seasonal obsession (pictured) is the Cranberry Orange and I am not kidding... it is obsession-level good. I'm already plotting to buy a dozen to freeze so Future Me can still thrive when the seasonal menu changes. The whole atmosphere? Gorgeous. Classy. Bright. Feels like you walked into the Pinterest board of a person who actually has their life together. And if you haven't tried a Cupcake Split, stop reading this and go fix your life. It's the perfect half-cupcake, half-soft-serve combo with fun toppings that make you feel like a kid again. This one is Cranberry Orange with vanilla soft serve and chocolate shavings, and I need it framed on my wall. Friendly staff, stunning space, ridiculous desserts... Yeah. You'll probably catch me in here at least once a week. Don't judge me -- judge the cupcakes for being irresistible.

Antique woodwork, stained-glass windows, a full ballroom, old books tucked into every corner... it honestly feels like stepping into a storybook. If Belle had a favorite coffee shop, this would be it. I ordered the Christmas Chai Latte and it was Christmas in a cup. Super hot, cozy, and perfectly spiced. Our everything bagel sandwich (bacon, egg, cheddar) was so good, especially paired with the atmosphere. Ryan went all in on the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha, and yes... we absolutely leaned into the seasonal drinks and have zero regrets. Even though it sits on the edge of a 55+ community, the vibe is welcoming to everyone. When we arrived there were just a few tables filled, but by the time we left the parking lot was packed. Clearly the locals know what's good. If you love beautiful spaces, seasonal drinks, and a quiet, charming morning out, you need to go. Alden Press is a whole experience, not just a coffee stop.

Kudos to Harvey and his staff. I had a great meal today and really enjoyed the tour of the original mansion!
