I spoke with Jonathan a month ago to arrange services. At that meeting we discussed the timeframe for which I am available to be home for the first few cleanings. I called to schedule the service and again told them the time I am available for the service. Yesterday, I once again confirmed the time. Today, I was having cell phone trouble and called to tell them that my phone was glitching and I may not be available if they call or text. I again told them, I would be home to meet them at 2:30. Today, Trey told me that they are not the company for me and cancelled my service 90 minutes prior to my service. This company sucks!! I am a previous employee and I can say this is the WORST job I have ever had .. They are poor at communication and management is horrid . I was let go over a text message sent from tray extremely unprofessional to say the least . They care more about time spent in house as opposed to the quality. In the time I was there they lost like 30+ customers over quality in the span of a month .. Do not hire this company to clean your home. The cleaning staff do not clean thoroughly & when brought to the attn of management, you will receive nothing but excuses. We hired this company to clean our home bi-weekly, there was zero consistency in scheduling or which "team" was going to show. As mentioned before, when addressed to ownership/management; nothing but excuses. The first cleaning fee is double the cost as it's supposed to be a so-called deep cleaning; it is not. The team didn't put attention to details, & did a crappy job. My wife & I decided to give them a chance in hopes of the service improving; it never improved, every subsequent cleaning was equally as deficient as the first. This was basically a waste of money altogether. There is a so called rotation that they claim to follow, they don't follow it at all, if you address it, again, nothing but excuses. This is a family run business who clearly have no Business Administration backgrounds as they cannot effectively manage their staff, and they don't even follow up by returning calls to customers or really even caring whether they keep or lose a customer. I highly recommend NOT hiring The Cleaning Authority as they are just plain not going to do the job you're paying for; as the saying goes; "I hope they don't wipe their butts that way!" Tell me how you would rate after seeing our pictures after they left‍ need I say more- we bought a new stainless steel refrigerator in March they used something dirty on the front and scratched the front both side of the doors- never told Matt the owner because we feel he wouldn't take responsibility for his staff- we gave them about 3 months but with the last visit and our refrigerator ruined it was over- there is nothing like paying over 100.00!for someone to clean your house and then you have to clean it after they leave- we had them at least 3 months with different teams- I can only think of 2 times we didn't complain about something- read more

Every time they had cleaned our house, they always missed something, once it was a whole room, another time it was the laundry room, the other time they didn't even clean around the toilet, we can't get our fridge clean anymore it looks like it's scratched all up, and no one would come out here and look at it, or they would not offer to come out here and finish their cleaning job, not very happy with the services would not recommend them. We contacted The Cleaning Authority on a recommendation of fellow neighbors. I was very clear with the person I talked to, he said he was the owners son, that because of complications from CoVID our house had not been cleaned in months. I was told that was fine and not to worry. The came and cleaned our house and did a wonderful job we were so happy. We were told by "owner's son" that they would be back in two weeks. They never contacted us again. I called mid October talked to another son who said he would get us on the schedule that he was sorry they missed us. No calls or people coming to clean our house. Last Friday I talked to the mom (owner) she said that there had a problem with their computers she would call me back when she figured out what happened. Nothing again. Today I called yet again, she told me that there was too much pet hair and their cleaners vacuums couldn't handle it. So they were declining us as clients. I must admit I find this whole company shady. The ghosting, the excuses, it seems like a very unreliable company. read more

I have had a pleasant experience from the start. Matt is professional and flexible. He took the time out to come to my house to give me an accurate quote. He was patient when I wasn't ready to start service immediately but kept in contact, not bothersome by any means. Then, after the first clean, I was really sold. I am not exaggerating when I say, the minute I opened the front door, I thought, it looks and feels really clean in here. Not to mention, it smelled clean. It did not smell like a bunch of cleansers, it smelled fresh. They exceeding my expectations and even sealed the deal with my husband who was not totally in favor of paying for a service. When I first used the cleaning authority I was impressed by their customer service and their management. I get that they were a caring personable team. I recently returned to work after maternity leave and needed to switch the day the team comes out, when I called and arranged for a new day Matt was telling me how they had to drop a customer for canceling too often-essentially making me feel bad for needing to make a change. Regardless we had agreed on a date with a time frame of 12-2. At 1:50 I hadn't heard from anyone so I called the team was running late, the first gentleman I spoke to said 30min to an hour then the manager (Matt) called to say they were wrapping up and would be over soon. Unfortunately I believe with a two hour window and no notification that they were running late, that's unacceptable. Instead of just apologizing for running late Matt told me I was in a 1-3 slot, they texted me so I know for a fact I was not. Then he proceeds to tell me they can't schedule me this week, or next week-not a problem. His suggestion was that I just put my account on hold, which I agree too and then he hangs up on me. This is extremely poor customer service I have terminated my contract with the cleaning authority as a result of this interaction. I understand that they are a growing business, and maybe it has become overwhelming but it does not give them the right to speak to people the way they have spoken to me, nor does it give them the right to be late with a two hour window-if they need to lengthen the time frame then that's what they should do.
