This isn't the fanciest airport lounge, but it's the only one at CHS. The nice thing is that it's available for all flights going out as the two terminals at the airport are not separated and close by. We had almost an hour before our flight departed, so made a quick stop here. During the morning, there were a few hot breakfast items like eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuit, and toast. They also offer the typical yogurt, fruit, cereal, and snacks. It's decent and gets the job done. There is also a bar area, but it was too early for that. The servers came around picking up the empty plates pretty often. There are only two private bathrooms, so the line was a bit backed up at certain times. Might be one of the worst airport clubs I've ever been to. Pay 60 dollars to circle the "club" constantly trying to find a seat. Super crowded for most of my stay, though toward the end, around 4:30 PM it started to clear up. Salad bar empty. No real hot food choices. The bartenders were super fast and nice, but the drinks were pretty terrible. At least in Savannah I get into the lounge for free by having Delta first class. Priority pass members get in free, but that's AMEX platinum. I have reserve. I'm not convinced it wouldn't have been as good to sit at a decent bar or restaurant, but I guess for the three basic drinks I had, as well as snacks, it paid for itself. read more

This is one of my favorite airport lounges! The check-in process is easy, and the front desk knows I am a seasoned traveler when I presented my boarding pass and Priority Pass without being told to. I made my way over to the buffet and helped myself to a few rounds of delicious food that ranged from shrimp and grits to French toast with powdered sugar and syrup. The Irish bartender was nice and loves chatting with guests. Make sure to tip your bartender, even if the drinks are free. There are plenty of staff maintaining the cleanliness of the lounge. The only downside is that they have two restrooms and one appears to be consistently out of order, which has been an issue most of the time that I visited. read more

No branded lounge at CHS but this lounge is very clean, spacious and the staff is always friendly! They have a couple seats that over look the lower terminal and more single tables towards the back. Always a line for the bathroom and sometime the food options are not too full but they usually have biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The bar is always loud and more lively. read more

Upon checking in there was a sign that stated there was a wait. Easy process to get on the wait list, but the lady at the front desk was very rude. There was easily 20 empty seats when I finally got in, so I'm assuming it was a staffing issue. Certainly not the best Priority Pass Lounge I've been to, but not the worst either. Staff are friendly, the food selection is better than some other lounges, but still pretty mediocre. Decent amount of seats, but definitely one of the smaller lounges. Charleston Airport (CHS) is one of those airports where as a United customer, there is no branded lounge here. As a matter of fact, none of the big carriers have lounges here. There is only one lounge here, and it's The Club CHS. As a AMEX Platinum member, I get Priority Pass access to this club. My flight this morning was at 7 AM but I got to the airport around 4:30 AM. It's nice that I was able to check out this club. After I took the elevator to the upper floor and checked in, I noted that the club was not busy at all. Food wouldn't be available until 5 AM so I just grabbed a drink and sat down. Once the hot food was put out, I grabbed some scrambled eggs, bacon, and some sausage gravy. It wasn't bad and at least it was fresh from the kitchen. The staff was always walking around to grab dirty dishes and stuff and were really friendly. I had a nice seat by the windows that overlooked the area between the sterile area and the outside hall area. It's a cool place to people-watch if that's your thing. The seats were comfortable and as I was there really early, it didn't start filling up until I left the club around 6:15 AM. My only complaint was that the electrical outlet and USB outlet did not work at my chair. If my travels brings me back to CHS, then I will definitely relax here before my flight. read more

I flew fr Charleston to ATL, and ATL to LAX. I arrived with enuf time to enjoy the lounge. Problem is, it took me an hour to get in. I barely had 30 min to enjoy the lounge b4 my flight. The food was decent. I had wraps, seafood salad and some olives w/ salami. The food was fresh, but nothing stood out. The ambiance was ok. There is a nice bar in back to watch football. The bartender and other staff are really nice. All in all, a decent experience in a small airport. What I didn't like is that several guests were here over two hrs. If you are supposed to arrive 2 hrs b4 your flight, and be at your gate 30 min b4 dearture, you shouldn't be in the lounge longer than 1 1/2 hrs. The lounge should limit the amount of time customers can spend in the lounge. I hate lounge hogs. read more

This is the only lounge in the airport. Because of that - and because of Priority Pass being readily available with most travel credit cards nowadays, this lounge is quite busy at every hour. We were lucky enough to arrive when it wasn't so busy in the morning, so we entered without issue. I only discovered this lounge when I got to the airport as I hadn't given it a thought beforehand. As it was the morning, there was a standard breakfast buffet + fruits. Because we ate at the hotel, I didn't bother eating. However, there was coffee/water and the typical fun stuff. The lounges are where most people sit. There are an array of seating options to desks, lounge chairs, sofas... you name it. We only hung out at the lounge chairs and didn't realize that there were way more seating options. You can get some privacy I believe if you walk around the lounge. Try to find one of those loungers. Don't expect world class food or drinks here, but it's enough to keep you occupied before your flight. read more

We arrived about 6am on a Sunday to a huge welcome upon entering and then grabbed a comfy seat overlooking the terminal. Lots of chairs, tables, couches to choose from. Plenty of juice, coffee, espresso machine with warmed cups. Bar was open but we went with just breakfast items with choice of fruits, muffins, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, yogurt parfaits. We chatted with Bernice who was a pleasure. My husband recently got a rewards credit card with club privileges in some airports, and this was my first lounge experience. It's nice to have a club in an airport that doesn't do international flights and is our home airport. This club is not very big and they have a few food items you can order from a menu on a QR code. Best of all, they have complimentary Albanese gummy bears (the best brand), sesame trail mix, and banana chips. The bar has a large selection of drinks in the bar, including a few signature cocktails. My margarita was way too strong and I couldn't drink it, and the coffee machine was out of order. Thankfully, there's a fridge counter with canned sodas and a diet coke hit the spot. If you need to work, some chairs near thr bathroom have small desks and low walls and almost reminded me of cubicles. It beats working at the nearby Starbucks or library. Some reviews mention a wait-list, but we didn't run into this, and the elevator was in service as of November 2023. You cannot use this lounge if flying INTO Charleston, so we won't see it again until our next trip, but we will go back before future flights. read more

If you can get in (which we had no trouble with, as we were flying out early on a day before a holiday) then this is a great lounge. Food selection for breakfast was good and appetizing. Espresso machine worked, and there were coffee syrups and milk options. Seltzer gun shot off flavors - maybe needed to be cleaned, or maybe just weird local water. Space was clean and comfortable, with decor that felt welcoming while also being "cool". Bathrooms were clean and located inside the lounge. Did not get a chance to use the bar, but selection seemed good. Location is perfect regardless of which gate you're using. read more

There are a few snacks you can grab yourself. Otherwise you can order some snacks off of a menu that are brought to your table. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available too. Plenty of chargers, but only a couple bathrooms, so there can be a wait for those. Very friendly staff! They've been especially sweet when I've had my now 3-year-old with me. read more

The Club at CHS makes traveling through the Charleston airport a breeze. The food is great here and the service is always quick and friendly. I love to grab a coffee and a handful of the breakfast options before my flight. They have scrambled and hard boiled eggs (both are good), lots of fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, and many other made to order options. There's generally open seating but it's not a huge area so it can fill up. You can access the club via priority pass or also a membership I believe. I love this lounge! This is our home airport- after living in the DC area, I'm so glad ro go to usch a clwan not chaotic loud airport! Anyway, the lounge has a menu you can order from. They are small bites which makes sense not to waste food and be able to sample a few bites! The seating area and desks are to the right if entering meanwhile to the left is a buffet style and then a very nice bar area. The whole place is very inviting. They change thwer menu once a month and feature a local item. This month it's shrimp and grits since we are in charleston. Staff is very welcoming- I asked if they had milk (I didnt realize it was available to serve ourselves) and they happily came over qith a glass. read more

The bartender was nice. The food was replenished. I believe there are certain improvements that could be made, however. - The cleanliness of the seating area I thought could have been better. A lot of previous visitor's dishes were on all the tables and I cleaned them up just to sit there. - The bathrooms were out of paper towels and were not kept clean. - Coffee machine was broken. - Lastly, the elevator was broken so we had to knock upon entry and walk up 2 flights of stairs. I have been in club lounges in other airports and this CHS club did not live up to what I expect from Charleston. 1) I arrived around 5:30 on a Sunday (airport was not very busy) and was told I would need to go on an hour + waiting list. I was texted at 6:15 and was thankful to have the opportunity to check it out. However, I don't understand why there was such a wait list as the place was practically empty. They need to Increase capacity. 2) There were hardly any snacks readily available for those rushing to get a plane. In addition, the flavored waters were almost empty. I understand it was the end of the day, but they should have remained somewhat stocked. Luckily, I had time to scan the QR code and order some free snacks: crudités and ranch, avocado hummus, ham sandwich. I also ordered a glass of rose from the bartender. 3) the bathrooms are at the far back corner of the lounge and are not labeled. This requires asking other passengers who are attempting to relax or the concierge. For those of us who are paying the fees to get priority pass or other passes, we should expect better. My recommendations would be 1) increase capacity 2) have more readily available snacks and drinks and 3) clearly label restrooms! read more

The staff don't seem well trained, front desk staff were blowing up balloons for some sort of company-mandated festivity rather than actually attending to customers hoping to check in. The staff inside were standing around having loud personal conversations right next to what should have been quiet seating. Babies crying, dogs barking. Only 2 bathrooms, both not looking like anyone was checking to tidy up. The espresso machine was broken!!!!!! And though I got in right away, when I left there were 20+ very grumpy people waiting around outside as it had gotten too full. I was still glad to sit there but there are sit-down food options in the terminal where I think on balance you'd be more comfortable. read more

As a frequent traveler, I appreciate anything that makes it more enjoyable. Chs lounge does just that. From being open early, 5am, to impeccable service, they knock it out of the park. Quick elevator ride up 1 floor. Show your pass or pay 35, you're on your way to an all inclusive airport resort. The food is always good, I recommend the sliders and gumbo. Polish that off with a few cocktails and you're ready for the 5hr flight to LA. Did I mention the view?! Elevated over the main concourse, enjoy views of the plane and walk way. Service is always quick so don't worry if you're running late. Do yourself a favor and step into the lounge and take some stress off traveling. read more

Definitely better than standing in line for one of the few vendors in the airport, this lounge was chaotic. They prefer you go on a waitlist which is the first priority pass lounge I've ever seen implement this. Bar staff was so kind, definitely the best part. Breakfast was at the butt end so the options were just OK but the lunch was decent with some good dessert and a tasty turkey bacon wrap. They keep tables clean but it is super busy. Only two bathroom stalls for the whole place so that's a bummer. read more

This was a pleasant and worthwhile spot to kill some time before our flight. The food was fine-- plain chicken salad sliders, chicken stew with rice, salad, snacks.... The real winners were the drinks and the overall service. The servers made you feel like they really cared and wanted to make your visit nice.
