The…read moreBurgundy Lounge is the upstairs bar inside the motel, and the pool bar is an outdoor bar inside a large building by the pool. The bars host live music and events, and I believe you may be able to rent them as venues- including the pool for pool parties. Pool passes are also available for those who want to swim or go to the pool without staying at the motel. Both of the bars have similar menus for cocktails, and the bartenders can also make you anything you want. They also have a few mocktails and NA options as well as sodas/tea/etc for the kids. Megan is one of the bartenders there, and she is wonderful. I had a blueberry cocktail that was flavorful, sweet, and strong. The cocktail prices (~$12) are reasonable for quality drinks and a few dollars cheaper than downtown. The bars, pool, and motel are all retro and make you feel like you're back in the 1970s. I haven't stayed in the motel and cannot rate that, but I have been inside a room, and it had a retro feel and is very clean. It is a motel so the doors face the parking lot, but everything feels very safe and the motel room prices are reasonable too.

Staff was super friendly and responsive. There are several amazing businesses in walking distance: Herbert's Vintage for matcha/coffee, Rebel Taqueria, and King BBQ. Spot has an amazing bar/lounge connected that has the BEST staff. Neighborhood is still up and coming but this place is a gem!

Absolutely wonderful & intimate comedy show setting. This is an up close and personal experience,…read morewhich is harder to find in the past few years. This was our first visit and excited to come back! The building is attached to Kings BBQ for delicious before show bites. We went for their "Golden Hour" and loved every moment. Glad we got there early because the parking lot does fill up quickly. There is additional parking around the venue, if it's full when you arrive. The entrance leads directly into a large bar area, with seating along the whole counter. Basically this area is half of the building so is surprisingly large. They offer craft cocktails, local beers, and wine by the glass. The second half of the building is the stage and seating. Personal space is a premium here as every spot is used for the audience. We saw 3 two seaters tables along the back wall as welk as a few tables in the front row directly at the edge of the stage. Both areas are considered "upgraded" seating/tickets. Use that info when buying tickets. The rest of the seats (at least for our show) are open seating. My suggestion is not to wait too long to find seating once the doors open. Not that there is a bad seat, but I do like to have choices. We had two openers and the main headliner for our show. Everything ran smoothly, with good volume and pacing. They then had a merch area set up after the show, back in the lounge/bar area. This got a little extra cosy but everyone was respectful. We would 100% come back for another show!

Very intimate and fun! You may get called out , lol! The bar is easy to get to and the staff is…read moregreat
