We worked through an entire kitchen full of items, multiple china cabinets packed with decades of dishes and collectibles, an entire dining room filled with paperwork, hundreds of photos, and hundreds of articles of clothing. There was also a full music room with thousands of records, plus a spare room that had essentially become a storage room over the years. Lindsey stepped in and immediately brought clarity and structure to what felt like a total disaster. She helped create what I can only describe as "organized chaos". We originally decided to go with the network that worked with the company that helped us with the leak. It was going well and we got what we needed from insurance but for the rebuilding side of the project we didn't feel like we were much of a priority so towards the end of September, we reached out to Monica because two of our neighbors used her and were super happy. Monica came out right away and during our first meeting, I just knew that I wanted to work with her due to her creativity and professionalism. Once we pulled the trigger and hired Monica (we had to get out of our contract with the first company so that took some time), she started right away. We went and picked out all of the pieces for the remodel together. She listened to our thoughts and incorporated them into her designs for us. We had our entire downstairs redone. All new floors, new paint on all of the visible walls downstairs (went upstairs too), new baseboards, new sink and fixtures, we extended our counter to allow for open seating, refaced kitchen cabinets with new features that I wanted to add. We redid our guest bathroom as well. Refaced cabinets, lights, mirrors new paint and fixtures. Our family room got a fireplace make over too. I also have new light fixtures and chandeliers throughout our downstairs that her electrician installed for us. He also replaced and added sockets for us in the kitchen. I'm sure there is more that we did, but I'm drawing a blank. I'll add! But long story longer, it's November 17th and just a couple more little tweaks and we will be done and this only because we keep adding stuff to do because we love how things are coming along! We coordinated a date via yelp and Garth was very responsive. When that date came, Garth brought a full team with him to handle the multiple items. They worked for over 4 hrs in my space and put in work! The noticeable spots I tried previously to get out caused no stress for their machines and they paid close detail to my sectional and chairs who took on most of our daily usage. There was a communication breakdown regarding the area rug when Garth cleaned it accidentally but he was a good business man and did not charge me for that mistake. The whole experience was great. I am so happy with the new kitchen! The cabinets are so well made - not like the typical cabinets other companies were going to produce for me. The solid maple drawers have beautiful dovetails and there are full extending pull-outs in the pantry. The interior of the cabinets is maple as well. Once we got to a point that we were closer to a decision, the business owner stepped in and helped us. We placed a deposit and scheduled an install date, which was yesterday. The crew showed up and in a couple of hours had removed our old carpeting and installed our brand new floor coverings.
