Hurry up and make a reservation at this magnificent restaurant before it's awarded a Michelin star and becomes impossible to get it!
Hidden on the street of Bruton Pl, off London's Berkeley Square, this restaurant celebrates art and craftsmanship in a stunning intimate setting. The chef Larry Jayasekara, with more than 20 years of experience in fine dinning, displays a refined modern cuisine like no other.
The restaurant offers impeccable service from the moment you arrive. The standout staff is attentive and knowledgeable, assisting you thru out the whole experience. The attention to detail is immaculate.
Each dish was presented in a prestigious way paying tribute to the high quality ingredients that are in fact brought from their own farm or island, adding a unique and personal touch. In every bite is clear the chef's passion for his craft and how he tries to integrate you into his world. I was truly in awe the whole time we were there.
Some outstanding dishes were the Japanese Otoro tuna with roasted foie gras and golden oscietra caviar, as well as the Norwegian king crab with lemon verbena and mushroom purée bisque, both mouthwatering. For main dish I had the dry aged sirloin beef with BBQ lobster in a béarnaise sauce which was out of this world succulent. We also had some potatoes sticks as a side dish that I still dream about them. Also, I almost forgot to mention, the BREAD!!! Best bread I've ever had. Buttery, flaky, airy, just perfection!
At the end of our service the team also showed us around the other areas of the restaurant including the amazing private room and the open kitchen. Next time I visit I will ask to be seated at the open kitchen's counter bar to have a more fun and interactive experience.
Thank you to The Cocochine for one of the most memorable and exceptional dinning experience in London! read more
