I usually get a couple of drinks here and one being their Iced Vietnamese coffee. If you don't know it comes with milk of the condensed kind with a dark roast. It's not as strong as I usually like it but it will do since strong coffee is scarce around here. I say the service is a hit and miss but what's new from a coffee chain. It's been a hot minute since visiting coffee bean. Wow! They have some excellent tasting espresso with the good ice! Nice interior with a mix of seating options. Corner club seats, intimate table for two or community tables. Located in the Rancho Cucamonga town square at the doorstep of the Verano apartments. Service was welcoming and fast! I met two wonderful friends here for a quick morning drink before we headed to lunch. I arrived here first so I ordered as soon as the line went down. Jocelyn was really nice at the front counter taking my order. Everyone that worked here seemed like really busy workers. I ordered a large hot caramel coffee since it was only like 20 or 30 cents more than the medium. My coffee tasted very good! The place is in a location not really too visible from the Haven & Foothill intersection. But I knew it was here because my daughter had a friend that used to live in the apartments behind here. Seating is a little limited, but the three of us were able to get the end seats of one of the long tables. We had a good little stay here. First of all after placing my order and paying cash, he never gave me my change! Second, I have never been in a coffee shop with a seating area and the bathrooms were not available for paying customers. I had to walk across the parking lot and use the pizza place's restroom. If I would have known I would've taken my business elsewhere. I guess that's why a homeless guy peed right outside the window right in front of me while I was drinking my coffee. I love Coffee Bean. I went to this one before picking up my dad from the airport, and I was suprized there wasnt a drive though but the service was quick nonetheless. The girl that helped me was super sweet and patient with me. The drinks are perfect and tasted amazing as per usual. I have been happily enjoying coffee bean for 15+ years now & this is my most frequented location. The service at this location specifically has been top notch. I order for pick up almost every time. They are always so quick. My drink is always ready when it says it's supposed to be. It always tastes perfect. & the maybe 2 or 3 times it hasn't been ready on time & they've been super slammed inside I've received great costumer service apologizing for the delay (which was never a crazy long delay at all). To be fair, this could just be a reflection of the shift it self. From the moment we walked in we could see the baristas did not have an attitude of liking their jobs. They did greet us as we approached, but didn't have a smile and seemed melancholy. We ordered two ice tea lattes. We made the drinks but did not announce they were made, nor had any writing on the cups. I had to ask if they were ours since there were people waiting and we had never ordered these before. I noticed a number of people not knowing their drinks were done, because no one said anything once made. The drinks were also poorly made. My wife and I noticed the ice tea lattes were like warm at the bottom with ice unmixed at top. While waiting for the bathroom key I watched them make drinks. When making teas that use powder and water you either should use a tumbler or another method of stirring. The just lightly swirled it, letting the color change. Though it didn't do the trick. It was way to see this wasn't there only shortcut taken. They also have 2 bathrooms but now only use one for customers. We had kids waiting and a few others for a slow patron. They had no remorse. A few of us just went next door as the baristas honestly didn't care. The store was not clean nor dirty.l, just was. Either way. I was not impressed with any part of the service. I will not be retuning to this location and will be hesitant to return to any coffee bean locations for multiple reasons. It's also impossible to reach out to their customer service team, it's like they don't want to hear your feedback or complaints. So I had to post a Yelp review. I had a horrible experience at this particular location when I placed a mobile order that said would be ready in 10 minutes, but I actually waited almost 30 minutes and was late for work! They looked heavily staffed, so not sure what the hold up was. The girls working just stared at me! Didn't bother to say anything like, "sorry, will have your order out soon". Plus, when I finally received my bagel and coffee, my coffee tasted bad as if it were made wrong! But I was already late for work so I couldn't ask for the drink to be fixed. Sorry could be better. And by better I mean waaaayyyyyy better. The staff is not friendly. I gave them my name and they still auctioned off my food and drinks, instead of using my name. When I asked the "barista" if that was the order for Rae, he said "uh if you ordered a dirty chai, then yes." I was like "okay, thank you I guess." The workers here seem really depressed. The little girl Abbey at the cash register did not greet us until I said hi first. We asked if she knew the bread for the grilled cheese. She squinted her eyes and say "uhhh" for about 20 seconds before I asked if she could ask someone else. She asked if we wanted the grilled cheese warmed up, which I understand but we mentioned we are staying for here. I also ordered the egg white and veggie egg bites and the egg white pesto wrap. She started telling us the amount we owe before I could order my drink. I ordered a dirty chai with nonfat, I specifically ordered less milk, and it's like they put extra. See pictures. I don't like Starbucks specifically because of the horrible customer service, we went out of our way to come to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and it wasn't even worth it. The bathroom is also in a disgusting manner. The inside of the store has two large rows of tables. They have not rearranged the tables Ian's chairs back into their original location. It's just two communal tables. We had to sit in the lazy boys chairs on the side rather than eating at an actual table. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the drink was not sweet which I asked for so that was good! and the egg whites were half decent but the pesto wrap is not good. I usually always get the chorizo breakfast burrito which is good! But just thought I'd try something different this time. This is my third time visiting this coffee bean location and I'm truly disappointed and unimpressed. The second time I visited this place I paid for two large hazelnut lattes both with an extra shot of espresso. They clearly made it wrong since both coffees were mostly milk (this is my go to order and I know how it tastes/ looks). Today, I ordered a strawberry matcha and it tastes like a strawberry milkshake. If I wanted some milk with a little bit of strawberry jam, I could have made it at home and not pay 8 dollars for it. I attribute all of this inconsistency and lack of quality to the employees that seem like they don't want to work there. You walk into the establishment and not one employee smiles or welcomes you. They take your order because they have to. The drinks is just a reflection of the environment they are working in. Not going back to this place! read more

Today at 339pm I went through the drive up window. I tried to order an ice mocha they are out of whipped cream. First of all how do you let that happen? That is a very important factor and people look forward to having that on their drink. Fine whatever so then I ordered regular coffee with creamer. I start to drive away took a drink of the coffee it was so strong so I took off the lid to see if it had creamer. This time I went for the summer special, midnight mocha cookies & cream. Couldn't resist the mocha with cookies & cream. It was smooth, not too sweet, love the little bits of crunch and the spurts of sweetness from the cream. I could've done without the whip cream but that's okay. My son took the matcha his favorite go to drink. I always feel guilty when he orders that. Both were excellent drinks to enjoy while we got busy doing what we do on our phones. THE nicest and most helpful person took our order tonight. I came in with my son who's trying out 30 days no dairy, and the helpful employee went over some non-dairy options with us. She even read the ingredients of the various components which comprised the drink he ordered. She was great. I usually go to the drive-thru Bean, but this one is located in a far less congested parking lot. Although we were the only customers, the inside is big enough (especially now, without the tables) so that even with more customers, you wouldn't feel packed in. If you like hazelnut and Oreos, try it ice blended with almond milk. It's sweet but not sickly, syrupy sweet. Looking forward to going back for something else soon.
