I love this Starbucks location. I love the cold AC blasting at 5:40 pm with the 87° outside in Rancho Cucamonga. Absolutely absolutely loved the warm greeting from Izzy and Marc. The team here was happy and having fun. This store was super clean and well organized. The sugars, stirrers section was well stocked. I loved my Iced Coffee with the extra shot. If you need your drink ready on time based on the mobile orders eta, don't come here, especially during the weekday afternoons. I order my drinks on the app based on the estimated pick up times. I understand the time give is an estimate but when I order a drink and it says eta 7-9 minutes but it takes 20-25 minutes it's annoying. They are also always "forgetting" to start/finish my mobile order. I only come here to get my kids a treat but even they are over the wait times and issues. This has happened more then once or twice. Wanted to try this Starbucks because of the better ratings than the others nearby. Plenty of parking nearby. Several tables and chairs outside as well as inside. I love the softer single chairs. This store is larger than other stores that I've been to. Employees are very friendly. My order of a caramel brûlée ice coffee didn't take long at all to be completed. (Covid-19 Review) 05/2020 This location is open for mobile orders but you can also walk in and order from the register. The whole lounge area is closed and the entrance is set up so you can only for a small amount of people in at one time. I did a mobile order and they ended up forgetting my almond croissant . Wasn't a bad thing just meant i got my croissant warmed up fresh(which is amazing) I feel reluctant reviewing places in this time, but i guess i can update it as things start to change. Overall good service as always. I went inside to place an order and Manny took my order, no eye contact no hi welcome, I ordered my order, Manny tells me the total, and is tapping his pen waiting for me to pay. I tell him thank you and he walks away from me. Fast forward 3 seconds later he starts laughing and joking around loudly and smiling with two other girl coworkers. Oh so he is capable of being pleasant? He hands me my food, I say thank you again. He ignores me and talks to his coworker. I literally felt like I was disrupting him? I don't know, I could be nitpicking, however in a time of strife and where everyone is saying to boycott Starbucks, I almost regret my visit. I'd rather go to a small business owned coffee shop to get my drink/food and where they'll actually reply with "you're welcome, thank you, and have a nice day." I'm leaving a 3 star for this establishment. It's not great, but not terrible either. I don't like the fact that out of all the Starbucks' in the area, this one does not have a drive thru. Major inconvenience if you're on the way to work in the mornings and have to get out and wait a super long line. But the inside is clean and the baristas work really hard and are good at what they do. Kinda not a fan of the shortage of power outlets here, if setting up a laptop, you may wanna bring an extension cord and a power strip and share with others. Internet is a little slow, and this is due to where Rancho Cucamonga sits relative to physical infrastructure. You are not likely to find businesses running on 1000 Mbps connections. For example, residents nearby at luxury apartments can get like a max of 50 Mbps on a cable connection, any higher than that and you need to literally rip the ground out to lay down fiber infrastructure... WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN IN ENGLISH? Your maximum speed at this Starbucks on your laptop/tablet/phone is going to be slow as hell compared to other cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix, etc. This single point alone is what makes me scratch my head about a town like Rancho Cucamonga. It's a damn nice town, don't get me wrong, but businesses that set up shop like Starbucks are severely limited to what internet speed they can make available to their customers. Again, this is an OK starbucks. The drinks are made well here, the baristas work hard, but there is a lack of power outlets, no drive thru and somewhat slow internet especially during peak traffic times. So who doesn't love Starbucks honestly. We all spend enough time in them lol. During my trip home I had to work remotely and this is the Starbucks location I decided to use. It was close to everything I need and the baristas were sweet. So overall a win. Until I had to use the restroom. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I waited until I had been to this location over the next few days to review. So we all understand how nasty a public restroom could be but honestly I expect more from a Starbucks location. I pay a higher price for items I could find in my local grocery store. This experience has me wondering if the employees have another restroom as they just can't be okay with the way they looked. So there is no real way to describe this locations restroom so I took a photo. Just know I slipped more times than I could count. I didn't know if children were playing in the bathroom or if there was a leaking pipe but that shouldn't even be a thing I think about. Side note I checked the bathrooms at different times of the day. I usually just held it throughout my 8+ hour work day until I got back to my home away from home. Gone are the days of the "cleaned restroom" check sheet that use to have the employees initials next to what task they completed. read more
