I know I've left a review before of this store. To not see it, is extremely suspect. BUT, what timing. I had a bad experience and I should never have a bad experience when picking up my cups of coffee. I've been coming to this location for almost a year now. I MISS ANTHONY. He was the manager for awhile and he was the best! Abruptly gone. Now, I don't know who the manager is, it doesn't seem like they have one. And there doesn't seem to be a rotation of regular baristas. As if turnover is high. Sucks when you're a regular and require your coffee to be perfect. You'll get someone who makes the drink right.. then they're gone. I frequent this location so much that when a regular is working, I can recognize their voice and they can recognize mine. Today.. girl at the drive thru. I've seen her before but today not sure if because it was 230p and a little busy for the afternoon (no excuses) she was overwhelmed. Again, no excuses. I order the same thing, every day, all the time. So I know exactly what my drink is supposed to not only taste like but look like. When the woman at the window handed me my drink, it was completely too light, AND I ask for extra caramel every time. Caramel around the cup and on top, is my always order. When I got my cup, did it have extra caramel? no it didn't. So when I mentioned that to the girl, she goes oh well sorry... Wrong answer to the wrong person. What she should have said was I'm so sorry, and offer to make it again. But No, she made me wait at the window for a minute. I know she saw me at the window with my arm out with the cup. She essentially closed the window on me when I was still talking to her complaining about my drink. So now I'm pissed off. When she comes back, I tell her straight, I need this made right. She takes it from me and not happily. I can see her kind of stomp it down on the counter and then she turned, so I can't really see the counter she's working off of. almost instantaneously she pops up with another drink. And now it's saturated with caramel. Mind you I didn't even get on her about the coffee sitting as long as it had been sitting in the cup to how it was already melded together as much as it was. When you give me a fresh cup of a dry iced Americano, I should be able to still see the separation between the espresso and the half and half. And coffee drinkers know that an espresso shot is only potent for so many minutes after it's brewed. So please don't play with me about my cup of coffee. But this lady did and here we are. read more

I feel like the drinks here are just okay however I did recently just order their cookies & cream ice blended drink & was pleasantly surprised by how good it was so I could see myself ordering this again. They also gave me a free hot chocolate through the app but it unfortunately tasted a little off. I think it has to do with the kind of milk they use. Prices are little high here I think you're better off going to a local coffee shop if you're looking for better quality. I do recommend using the app for freebies & reward points. A drive back drink while heading home on Interstate 5. The featured drinks are Horchata coffee & fruit flavored energy drinks. I just wanted a basic drink & ordered the Americano w/ Vanilla Syrup for additional $1. I like the roasted coffee bean aroma & vanilla syrup for that added sweetness. Service was terrible!! I waited in the drive thru line for about 30-40 mins I'm not even exaggerating. Both of my coffees were disappointing and they didn't even have the items to make my original order which was a honey latte and a soy latte. I wouldn't recommend this place at all you're better off getting a latte at McDonald's than at this location read more

Came by while waiting for our car to finish charging. Aside from the fact that they ran out of chocolate syrup, the service when placing our order was not very hospitable. They were very short and seemed irritated that we were even ordering. When we asked for the bathroom code, they were hesitant to give it to us; reason being "someone is already in there." Minutes went by and no one exited the bathroom. Pretty sure they were planning on closing early because it was dark and empty inside. read more

Wow! I genuinely hate to do this. So my drinks are always yummy! But the drive thru wait time in the morning ! . In line for (and I counted) 20 until I got to the mic. I got the (we will be right with you talk) then, 7 min until they got back on the mic. Then another 3 min at the window! What in the customer service is going on? I will say, if you have somewhere to be, do not come to this location: if you have nothin but time to blow, sit, and reflect in the drive thru, this is the spot to be! read more

Ordered at 9am came to through the drive the around 9:10 there was two cars in front of me and I left the drive thru with my order at 9:32. Definitely would not recommend if you have work or trying to get something quick unless you have at least half an hour to spare. read more

Worse location ever! Don't ever go here if you're on a time crunch. They literally take forever just to make a single drink which in turn backs up the drive thru tremendously. Also this location makes the drinks terribly as well. I'd be willing to let the long wait slide if my drink was at least decent. read more

This location is the slowest I've been to. It never fails. When I think it's just a one off thing, it happens all the time. One time I was the second car behind another car. I waited 28 minutes before it was my turn, but I got to the window and still had to wait for my drink while the employees were chit chatting. They offered no apologies or nothing. On this particular day, I ordered my drink with a shot of espresso which they forgot to add, but I had waited so long so I did not go back. What prompted me to write this review today is because I've been in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes again. I pulled off and they forgot my shot of espresso again. Ordered one drink from the coffee bean on Newhall ranch road drive thru . it took over 15 minutes for them to come back to me to tell me they're busy with online orders. I would still have to wait. Drive thru time is at times more than 10 min during the morning . Suggestion : they should have drivers waiting for large orders who need to wait more than 5 minutes pull up to te parking lot and let the rest of the line pass through . read more

Been regularly coming here because the coffee is decent and the avocado toast is good. Go through the drive thru for a quick easy transaction. Today I asked if they could put the chili flakes on the side as they normally put it on the toast. Had a little back and forth with the girl taking orders at the box but didn't think much of it and pulled forward. Then I hear her taking the next cars order and taking about how the girl before them "pissed her off" and then mocking voice repeating our interaction THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU SPEAKER to a customer (probably was an off the clock employee or a friend). This is highly inappropriate to do through a drive thru speaker...then I got my food. There was not enough of a negative interaction for then my food to be purposely messed with this employee lost her cool and handled herself in the wrong way which ultimately effects the business she works for. She had a long ginger/strawberry blonde pony tail. Their products aren't good enough to be treated like this by a hot headed staff. read more

This coffee chain is better than Starbucks. I've seen so many of these locations in 2013 but it seems like now there are less of them. I honestly hate lattes but I gave this place a try. Honestly, the iced vanilla latte here is so good. I don't know what Starbucks does but it's not working out that great. I also ordered a caramel latte in LAX but that was too sweet. Another thing I like about this place is the ICE LEVEL. I don't feel scammed for my money as they put a "regular" amount of ice compared to Starbucks. After trying this place, it makes me not want to get Starbucks unless I am desperate. Will definitely come back here for their drinks! read more

I just love this place so much. Their coffee tastes like coffee & not like chemicals-- (talking to you pagan logo place from Seattle) They have good coffee, their macha, mocha and vietnamese iced coffees are yummy but Belgian chocolate is definitely my favorite. I love CBTL. It's my favorite coffee shop. However, this location is horrible. The drinks are not consistent from visit to visit, the people who work here are, generally speaking, rude, and it takes FOREVER to get through the drive thru. At first, I thought it was just a fluke, maybe they needed to work out some kinks in the process, but now it's been years and they just cannot get the orders out in a timely manner. I wish I could stop here instead of Starbucks every morning, but there's no way unless I happen to be running 30 minutes early, because they will take forever to get you your drink. I came in and ordered a large coffee, plain. I wanted something fast bc I was in a rush. After I ordered, she told me to wait a few minutes bc she was waiting for it to brew. That is completly fine with me. I waited from 6:22am and it was now 6:28. I asked how much longer only bc I saw that she forgot to add the grounds to the coffee maker. She said it will be a few more mins. She was polite, she was just doing her job. But I told her I had to go bc I have an apptment and will be late. So I asked for a refund. The manager came over, she looked pissed bc I inconvenienced her and she gave me a refund. She never appologized for my wait. I was only greeted with a rude demeanor. The staff in this location is focused on the drive through and not in store customers. I waited at the register for 5 mins before I was even greeted. There were 4 people working and not one was focused on in person customers. When I finally got help the barista walked away before I could pay and I had to call him back over to pay for my drink. When my drink was ready I was not informed it was... just placed on the counter and it didn't look like the drink I ordered. So I asked if the drink was mine and was rudely told yes. I asked why my drink did not have whip cream or look like the visual in store and was told I have to ask for whip cream and the visual was just for decoration. So I the customer has to assume that my drink will not look like it is advertised!!! I don't know who manages this store but the staff needs some training. read more

Let's begin to say that I think Coffee Bean makes one of best Chai Lattes I've tasted. But today, when I drove up to the intercom to order, it took 2 greetings as to whether I should drive up to the window or or it was closed. Then once I placed my order I was asked to go to window. Then they had me waiting there at least five minutes that I decided to shut my car off. By this time there were 2 other cars behind me. I think the wait was too long and then this happens. Driving down I5 we always stop here coming and going. Coffee Bean is my favorite coffee place but we dot have any in our area so I have to get my fix when we travel. This location doesn't have the friendliest employees, it doesn't have the cleanest location, it doesn't have the nicest kept up bathroom or the best selection of foods but they do know how to make the cookies and cream blended here better than any other location I have found so far! They chunk theirs so full of cookies you can eat them with a spoon but no other spot does it that way. I dont know which way is right or which way is wrong but I do know which way I prefer!
