I come to this Starbucks all the time and have never had a bad experience until today. I'd never been helped by the woman at the drive-thru window before--an older employee. My sisters placed a mobile order, and I went through the drive-thru to pick it up. Since it was my first time picking up a mobile order this way, I didn't know the process. She told me to pull into a parking spot and wait, which I had no problem doing. What made me uncomfortable was that, as soon as I pulled away, she said over the speaker to the next customer, "Oh my God, thank you so much for placing your mobile order the right way." My sisters heard it too, and it felt like she was making a comment about us. I've never had any issues with this location before, but that interaction was unnecessary and made me feel embarrassed. If there was an issue, it could have been explained politely. Customers shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable or mocked for simply not knowing the correct procedure. Took my younger sister here to get a couple drinks before a long, emotionally taxing day at her school. I ordered a mint tea and it was great. She ordered a tall mango dragonfruit lemonade refresher with no inclusion (this means no berries floating at the top) since she wanted the drink by itself due to her sensory issues. We paid the full 5.45 for the mango dragonfruit refresher, yet what we got was an ordinary lemonade, which costs around 3.45! They didn't add anything in! My money was wasted. She was crying. This review is for a barista named Chris! On Sunday morning around 9:40, I ordered a mobile order from the Starbucks on the corner of Bouquet and Newhall Ranch Road (across from Chevron and the car wash). I picked it up on my way to church. I picked up the wrong drink! It was not a drink that I would ever drink, so I didn't drink it. I saved it through church and an activity I had to attended after, and then I stopped in at the Starbucks near my next priority and walked in just to see if they'd be willing to remake it 4 hours later, totally not drank. I explained my story to Chris (who turned around from the drink he was making and greeted me when I walked in, by the way) and he remade the drink right away. I showed him the order on my phone and the drink I was holding for "Patricia". He didn't ask any questions at all, just cheerfully remade my venti triple blonde latte. Thank you, Chris, for making my Sunday coffee an unforgettable experience. You warmed my heart and the drink was also perfectly made!! We've been to this Starbucks many times since we moved here about a year ago and lately it's been disappointing. When ordering a chai tea, all I've gotten is milk with just a touch of chai. This has happened twice already. I like going to this Starbucks because it is a little more low key than the one down the street. It can still get congested and you may have to park a little further but less hectic than Newhall Ranch Road. For one reason or another they don't sell Morning Buns at this location- bummer! But I will say the baristas are consistent here. They make the drinks correctly and always add the correct toppings (specifically the cinnamon sprinkles on the cinnamon dulce latte). I don't want to sound like a white washed Cali girl but I use to work for Starbucks and it really does make a difference when a drink is made correctly. Good stuff here! read more

What makes it so great? The staff, the location, and the customers. Let's begin with staff, easily the most friendly, open minded, and customer service based you're likely to experience. These people are amazing. From management to barista. They have remade countless drinks, and keep everything clean. NEXT UP, LOCATION: the location is prime, right next to Chronic Tacos. With near floor to ceiling windows next to the street so the flow of traffic is seen but not heard, providing entertainment and energy. Also, it's one of few Starbucks with parking immediately in front. Lastly, and not leastly (nope, not a real word) the customers. This location has some of LA's most famous regular customers, from the rock band New Beat Fund who regularly hang out, to those funny dudes who drive around Santa Clarita with a giant banana corn in their car The Brother Monkeys. I've also seen the creator of Sons of Anarchy in here, as well as actor C Thomas Howell from that 80's movie "The Outsiders". You wouldn't know it by looking at it, but there are a lot of celebrities at this one. In addition to the stars, this starbucks has really cool regulars as well. People who take time to actually speak with you, Ciel and Cheryl and Greg and Logan. A dude even plays acoustic guitar for people about once a week. Simply horrible service provided by the night crew on 3.29.17. How do you simply not tell a customer the drink is ready? After 10 minutes I decided to conduct a test to see how long they'd go before realizing there was an unclaimed drink. It never happened. I come from CS. If I noticed an unclaimed drink, I would find the customer. Not here. They just kept wiping around it. So rather than drink a watered down beverage or complain, I left it there as a message. I didn't ask for a refund either because I was a willing participant and accepted my role. I guess my curiosity has convinced me that I won't be coming back. Ok so crazy morning. It's pouring, the streets are flooding. My son had his first fender bender in the rain on the way to school right in front of this Sbux. As you can expect, we are standing out in the rain for over an hour, soaked to the skin and cold, exchanging information and waiting for all of the needed tasks to be done. A few weeks ago my brother and I were trying to kill time before our 9pm massage down the street so we wandered in around 8pm on a Friday night. I found myself in the midst of pumpkin season so I was really iffy on being adventurous and trying out the popular drink we all know as Pumpkin Spiced Latte... The cashier understood my dilemma and quickly solved my problem: if I didn't like it, they'd gladly make me another drink of my choice no extra charge. Wow!! A + guys!! I hesitated because I felt bad if I didn't like it but then again, the stars were aligned: no one waiting behind me to get annoyed, the staff offered it up and honestly meant it. ...Okay, fine. Horrible. The customer service is horrible. The baristas are horrible. This location was great when it first opened but over the last month or so it's gone downhill. Twice within the span of a couple of weeks, we have gone and our drinks were so disgusting that we couldn't drink them. Since we paid $15 for 3 drinks and this was the second time it happened, I called the store to let them know the issue. We were refunded our money and I went back to get new drinks. I stood inside the store for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me at the counter. No one did. I finally asked someone for service, and he said that she was on the phone. I finally got help and they pulled up our order. They remade the drinks but one of them that should have been a venti was a grande. By this point, I was over it. And again we got drinks that were disgusting. I have gotten these drinks many times and never have they tasted so bad. We won't go to this location anymore. Had the situation been rectified correctly I would have returned, but after the horrible customer service and bad drinks again, I won't. I hope they improve both the quality of the drinks and their customer service because the location is convenient. read more
