The Coffee Cup is such a cute spot with great aesthetic vibes -- cozy, bright, and the kind of place you actually want to sit and stay awhile. I ordered a hot matcha without milk, and it was delicious. Smooth, well-balanced, and not overly bitter. Simple order, but they did it right. Only thing is they are definitely over priced.

Super cute coffee shop located in the shopping center. The coffee options were creative and delicious. I got the Girl Scout latte, and it was wonderful! The girl behind the counter was super sweet and welcoming. There are a few chairs and a counter for seating options. Highly recommend stopping by! I loved it so much that I visited twice while in town for only two days :)

Love stopping by The Coffee Cup for their speciality lattes and their Redbull Refresher. I usually add lemonade and a flavoring to my refresher - it hits the spot when you need to work a long shift at the mall. They have a nice selection of baked goods as well. I really liked the cinnamon babka. They have a rewards system as well which is really great if you go often. I would definitely recommend trying their seasonal drinks. Staff is always friendly and service is pretty quick as well.

I had the best cherry cold brew with cold foam from here and the baristas were so friendly and kind! Highly recommend!

If you come to Providence Mall, this is the best coffee stop. Hazelnut chocolate is perfect for a cold New England day. Americano is very good. Staff are pleasant. The atmosphere is lovely here, green friendly.

First time here it was a last min pick and a good one at that. Checked in but go talking and forget pic. Coffee and latte were amazing. Will be coming again. The place was small and cozy and very cute.

I always notice people sitting, with laptops and different treats inside and today was the day to give it a shot~ I ordered a ice matcha latte and the barista offered if I wanted to add sweet cold foam, where a large list was pointed out above the counter, of all the flavors offered. It was such a long list, and I was pleasantly surprised! I got a lavender cold foam, matcha latte! I was having an off day, and the staffs simple kind treatment and and patience of me picking out a good treat for myself made my day~ Clean and chill place to stop and take a shopping breather!

Was on our way to another coffee place in the mall, but the ambiance of The Coffee Cup stopped us in our tracks. The storefront is bright, yet calm and we knew we had to stop in! I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon oat milk latte and the person who took our order helped my husband decide in an iced strawberry green tea. Both drinks surpassed our expectations! They were so delicious and exactly what we needed. We also ordered a warm blueberry muffins that was incredible as well. Do yourself a favor and bypass the larger chains in the mall. Stop into The Coffee Cup instead. I promise you won't regret it!

Delicious coffee! Terrific customer service ! And the space is definitely insta worthy. I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted caramel flavor or hazelnut flavor and asked if I can be "Surprised" and she definitely passed the vibe check. I also decided to try the sugar cookie which was also bomb it's not too sweet and pretty big! I just wish they weren't only located in the mall because I want this coffee shop everywhere!!

I work in the mall and usually pop in to this place at least once a week to grab a snack and some type of tasty beverage. The staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and I enjoy their assortment of bakery items and ready made grab and go snacks in the cold case. It definitely beats the other two "chain" coffee shops in the mall and is worth checking out.

Service: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Welcoming vibe as you walk by. The ambient drawn us in. We were in need of coffee and hoping it was our fix. As you walk in there are seats on your left and right. The cashier is about 15 feet from entrance. It has an outdoor feel because of the green plant back wall. The cashier was very nice and energetic. Orders were taken with ease. We ordered a hot cappuccino and iced cold brew black. Both drinks came out perfect. Cappuccino has good amount of foam. Iced cold brew black was very refreshing and smooth. Drinks came out quickly and with quality. We didn't think we'd find something good. Thought it would've been Dunkin' quality, but it's 100 times better! Price is reasonable. They have croissants and bakery items that looked good. Will have to try them on our future visits. We can only recommend the two drinks we ordered.

5 Stars for a great strawberry matcha latte and phenomenal cappuccino…read more This coffee and matcha shop has so much more to it than a typical coffee shop. It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

I like the branding, brightness of the cafe, and the fact that there's a decent amount of seating. I got the Iced French Vanilla Espresso Latte + Espresso Teddy which was well-made, bold, and enjoyable. I think the Espresso Teddy is actually made with cold brew and not espresso which I expected given the name and would have preferred. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the slow melt and the boost of caffeine I got as I kept sipping. And it's super cute! The Iced Mont Blanc was also a good try; the sweet orange flavor was subtle and surprisingly enjoyable adding a bright taste to each sip. If I'm ever back in Providence, I would totally come back and maybe try their matcha drinks.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

Inquiring minds want to know and I want to see what's buzzin' so I found a parking across the street and headed towards the Brown Bee. The second I walked in, I knew I found a hidden gem in Providence. The baked goods look like a true professional baked them. Ever grab a tray of croissants from Costco? I'm sure those bakers question their life. These baked goods look like the bakers put time and true methods to achieve the level of a quality baked goods. Take for instance their pain au chocolat. Simple, yet elegant with a classic golden hue. Brown Bee, I commend you on your mad skills. My wife and I stopped in for coffee. I see a great line up of coffee choices: Halva Latte, Pistachio Latte and a Bee Latte made with cayenne. That sounds a little too on the wild side so I ordered two Spanish lattes. Made with condensed milk, smoked chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt, this is perfect for a cloudy afternoon. I also order a cookie to split between us, a Brookie. The lattes were perfection. The sweetness from the condensed milk and the smoked chocolate gave the drink a nice balanced flavor. The Brookie? Fudgy, chewy and the right amount of chocolate made this an afternoon delight. Just passing thru, thanks Brown Bee Coffee for a great Providence experience!

There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.

Also, within a block of Brown University making the ambience modern, perky and resilient. I was thrilled at the food options being that it's a cafe. My wife and I started with a vegan breakfast sandwich (brioche rolls filled with vegan egg, sausage and cheese) I washed mine down with an Italian soda which was not too bad, but it was canned. Of course, I can't be in New England and not have New England clam chowder. The chowder had plenty and I mean plenty of clam in it but it did get a little cold due to the weight of my server. The service was absolutely amazing. The young lady was so nice and I got the feeling it was her first day though. So, grace given there. She tried hard to remain friendly and positive. She even returned to ask if my wife would prefer to add vanilla and cinnamon to her latte. Nice touch! The manager training our server had his hands full but still took the time to be nice to us.
