My girls got the loaded fries. They were also good but too salty. Advice for others-- make sure to park in the lot & not on the street to the side. This was my first time to try this place. Four cars parked on the side street and all 4 of us had our cars keyed. Really frustrating. I might try the other location next time to see if a safer location. read more

Well now this is cute place. I remember when it was a wine bar! Pet-friendly also! There is a small dedicated parking lot. I was able to find parking but I also came around 10am. Plenty of seating inside and outside! Table and booth seating inside. Outside table, swings couch-ish options for your buns. Outside they have a big connect four and regular size board games to partake in. They do serve food however I only had the coffee. Ube cloud was good but I think the brown sugar came out more than the ube. The color was there. The pandan matcha cloud was delicious. Specialty drinks, noteworthy food, a covered patio with temp control (well fans) and ofcourse vibes...all of the vibes. I mainly clocked the chill yet professional work crowd. I can in on a Monday morning after a seeing my PCP for the yearly. Twas a rainy day. I have been here in the evenings for the bar on multiple occasions. What I didn't know is that about a month ago, they added a coffee bar in the mornings. Woot! Colton was working the cafe this time through. Very nice guy. There were about three ahead of me, so a slight easily manageable wait. Colton knows the menu. No food just yet, but they plane to have some solids for the coffee hours in the future. I ordered the Pistachio Cream with oat milk. Delicious! As most "craft" coffee joints are these days it's a little heavy on the wallet. After taxes it's an $8 cup of coffee. This is the new standard. I used to think Starbucks was expensive, now they are one of the cheapest. Exciting times we live in. But it is really good, and I do highly recommend this joint. They have a very green code with plants and everywhere. And it's not crowded, which makes me happy. Parking is easy when no one is here, but at night during rush it might get a little crowded. They have a really nice outdoor section too. Solid spot for coffee and work. I was iffy in the cocktails in the evening, but that was when they first opened. Would have to go back. read more

Pretty solid experience here!! Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, right on time for their happy hour, which starts at 3pm and ends at 6pm on Saturdays. They have a nice patio with 4 people, or more sesatings and a few swings. A bit of green grass in front of their kitchen (food?) truck. It's perfect for a 60s degree day weather. Once it gets too cold, it's nice to hide inside, where they have bar seatings, booths, high tables and one table of 6. I saw a couple bringing their dog so I assume it is dog friendly. They do offer WiFi and witnessed several customers with laptops and books. We ordered their cappuccino and a few cocktails (HH time!). In this economy, we appreciate that my bill wasn't exaggerated!! $3.75 for a cappuccino and between $7-8 for HH cocktails. A plate of plantain chips with chimichurri sauce for $4.50. Staff was upper friendly. This place does get busier as the night goes on. The speakers are slightly bit loud but nothing you can't fix with noise cancelling headphones ! They also have board games and other food to offer. Now, the coffee place is separated from their bar. So if you wish to mix coffees and bar orders, you have to place your order separately. The Coffees Garden started about a month ago and the bar has been operating since March this year. Maybe it'll take some time to merge both ? Pretty cool concept - a cocktail bar and coffee shop in one! Two things I really enjoy. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon for a quick coffee run. The place has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. There's a nice, spacious patio with turf, seating, and TVs so it's perfect for hanging out on a nice day. The indoor space isn't huge, but there are a few tables and bar seats. I had my toddler with me, and he loved exploring the outdoor area. They've got all the standard coffee options, but I went for the pistachio cream. It was decent - a bit heavy on the cinnamon for my taste, but I liked that it had actual pistachio pieces in it. The drink was also beautiful. The barista mentioned they make their own pistachio syrup, which was a nice touch. Overall, not a bad coffee stop! The pistachio coffee and golden hour were both so good! I am a sucker for pistachio and Ube. So, I will definitely have to try that next time. The environment was so pretty and I'd love to eat there soon. We just wanted a quick pick me up but I'd have loved to try the food as well. I rolled into Coffee Garden on a sunny Sunday morning at 9:30, dreams of a cozy breakfast dancing in my head. I picked this place because the Yelp reviews were practically singing, but alas, my breakfast dreams were dashed. They said there is no food! just coffee and teas. They told me the bakery and food to cook was running late, and my empty stomach was not amused. Still, the staff were nice, they explained the situation with a smile, even though I was practically plotting my next move, hunger-fueled. I did use the restroom, and it was clean. And the patio seating? Adorable. I half expected a garden gnome to bring me a scone. What really won me over, though, was the convenient parking in the back and a super cute little play area, perfect for an afternoon Sunday vibe. I had a really disappointing experience at The Coffee Garden in the Heights. Before ordering, I spoke with three different employees because I have a dairy allergy. I specifically explained that I needed to make sure everything in my drink could be made dairy free, including the milk, syrups, cold foam, and any other ingredients. The first employee told me they had no idea and wasn't even sure if they offered dairy free milks, even though the menu clearly advertises plant based drinks made with oat milk. The second employee said he was "pretty sure" my drink could be made dairy free, but he didn't check or verify the ingredients. He continued to ring up my order even though he wasn't completely sure. Finally, I asked the barista directly and, once again, explained that I have a dairy allergy. She assured me my drink could absolutely be made dairy free. After she handed me my drink, I noticed it had cold foam on top. I went back and asked what the cold foam was made from and whether it contained dairy. She replied, "Yes. Did you not want dairy at all?" That response honestly shocked me. I had already told her, and every employee before her, multiple times that I have a dairy allergy. Hearing such a casual response after repeatedly explaining my allergy made it seem like my concern wasn't taken seriously at all. This wasn't a preference or a dietary choice. It was an allergy that I made very clear from the beginning. A coffee shop should know the ingredients in its drinks and have staff who understand how to handle allergy requests. You would think a coffee shop that promotes plant based drinks would understand what it means when a customer says they need their drink to be completely dairy free. I hope management takes this seriously before someone is actually harmed by a mistake like this. read more

I love this place! The ube cloud is my favorite and you can't go wrong with a honey and cinnamon latte with cold foam on top. Very delicious! Lots of outlets available inside by the booths and the bar. There's a few outlets outside too for good weather days. The parking is huge compared to most cafes in houston as well. Would not recommend. In terms of coffee/teas- Don't get their matcha. I paid 10.00 for an oat milk matcha and got a full cup of oat milk with some matcha clumps at the bottom. In terms of service we sat down at a table at 10:48 am with our order, and at 10:50 the staff came over to the table to put a reserved sign on it and tell us to move.
