I pretty much stop here every day now. I love the staff, coffee, pastries and the atmosphere. I also love the outside seating. The coffee loft is my coffee spot now. Also there is on street parking which makes it very easy if your going eastbound on Lincoln street. Coffee Loft keep up the good work this is a great place. read more

Cute and cozy little coffee shop. Great coffee and good environment to work or relax with friends. My only complaint would be about the music. Who ever controlled the music would frequently skip around between songs, making it a bit of a distraction. There was also a stretch of about 30 minutes when no music played at all. Wonderful place to grab coffee and catch up with a friend. Baby friendly and gorgeous artwork on the walls. Definitely a hidden gem in the MetroWest which will hopefully continue to see much traffic. Haven't tried the regular coffee, but the Mocha was definitely one of the best I've had. It tasted like real chocolate went into it rather than a chocolate flavored syrup. Also had the caramel apple cider, which was delicious. I appreciate, though don't expect, a coffee shop that has alternatives to caffeinated beverages other than herbal tea. The spinach quiche was very tasty, and had the look and taste of something made in the shop, rather than purchased from a bakery. They also had some soups, though I would not call this a place to come for lunch. It's a coffee shop with a few baked goods. The baristas were both very friendly and conversational, something I expect in a local coffee shop. Not a Starbucks-y chipper nice, but real people who seem like they like other people and may be interested on what they have to say. They add to the warmth of the place. The set up inside includes table and chairs or couches with a coffee table, either seat is a place to stay as long as you'd like. Outdoor seating as well in a cordoned off patio. As mentioned in other reviews, the walls are covered with art flowing over from the attached gallery. I didn't get a sense of pretentiousness, and would be just as comfortable walking in here with sweatpants as with skinny jeans. read more

The Coffee Loft is a hidden gem in Marlborough. Instead of going to Starbucks, come here for a great cup of coffee, smoothie, sandwich or pastry. The Coffee Loft offers an assortment of pastries made in house, many of which are gluten free or vegan! The best part? The gluten free pastries don't taste gluten free at all and if you didn't see the sign, you would have no idea. The baristas at the loft are super friendly and prices are great. The decor in the loft is super sweet and if its your first time, make sure to check out the Bohemian Room in the back with comfy seating and mood lighting. Check out the local artists work sold around the loft along with the paintings spread around the loft. Definitely worth a visit, a great place to sit and focus on work while sipping on Jim's organic coffee. read more

I really like the quaintness of this coffee shop - the atmosphere is just my style. I ordered a chai tea and they serve full leaf tea which is awesome. I also ordered a Mexican quiche, and it was very good. The consistency was very light and fluffy, and the crust was really flaky and buttery. Great place with a hipster vibe that is definitely unique for Marlborough compared to any other coffee shops in the area. I stopped in to try out their cold brew after hearing a lot of positive things from family and friends. Not surprisingly the coffee was fantastic reassuring me of everyone else's reviews along with a very friendly staff. The shop has tons of specialty drink offerings as well from tea, to lattes, cappuccinos and so on. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area that is trying to switch it up from Dunkins or Starbucks. Their iced coffee is very good if not better than Starbucks. The thing that bugged me is that they do not offer organic milk. Why would you have organic coffee and put conventional milk in it?!? i came here for Quiche...all the reviews and everyone raved about the Quiche... Came on a monday at like 1:00 and they said they didnt have any Quiche..they ran out... What? i drove out of my way 40 mins just to try it and i ddnt get to..how do yo rum out of Quiche? when your main dish is Quiche...oh well i tried..wont be back... the coffee was ok and i tried the coffee cake and it was ok too..inside is really comfy and cozy though..if it was closer to home i'd be hanging out for awhile.. read more

Good coffee and tea selections. They always have a soup, small main dish (sandwich, quiche, etc.), and some dessert thing available. Also smoothies. It's very clean, and the staff are always friendly to customers, although I have occasionally had to overhear their personal conversations which is unprofessional.
