Something fruity is going on here... The Cookie Lady Hawaii is a simple organic name for a sweet biz but there nothing simple baking up here, located on the third floor in the 808 Center this little shop is filled with bags of goodies and gosh what a treat! This June 2023 flavor of the month is Fruity Cookie yuuuummm! No I didn't get that one today as Matcha had already caught my eye..."for those who know me" and these thin and crispy treats really hit the spot. With very simple layout it's either a full sized bag or a smaller snack pack which is what I did today for just a little dip as if I got the bag omg! These cookies aren't the giant loaded up but thin to be almost a cracker...for those who's never had one I apologize cause it's gone nothing to show but trust me saying it was so yummy! Flavor of the month cookie has some fruit cereal topping that brings a fun birthday party vibe, there's also Lilikoi, Lemon, Chocolate Chip, even Cookie Lady Special follow them on Instagram @thecookieladyhawaii for all the latest on The Cookie Lady Hawaii. Thank you!

We love the Cookie Lady cookies. The texture and flavors are so good. We had a hard time parking and driving the one way streets, but when we learned where to park, it was easy. The building has cute shops so plan to spend a little time there after buying some delicious cookies.

Looking for crispy, flaky, and buttery homemade-type cookies? Look no further than The Cookie Lady Hawaii, located on the 3rd floor of 808 Sheridan! Its original owner and baker, Dale Muramoto, first opened the Cookie Lady Hawaii in 2009 in Waipahu. She was a career woman, having worked in dental offices, banks, credit union, and even worked as a cafeteria worker and cleaned planes at the airport. And she loved to bake, as it was her hobby, as well as to relieve stress. She made these treats for her two young children and also made goodie baskets for friends on special occasions. As her daughter, Terilyn Lee, grew older, she suggested that she open her own business. Over the years, The Cookie Lady Hawaii offered about 14 varieties of delicious cookies that included: chocolate chip, shortbread mac nut, lemon, peanut butter, cornflake, oatmeal, furikake mix, shortbread arare, and sprinkled. Dale used her personal family recipes that were refined over time, and as a result, her cookies were made out of love. At age 69, Dale decided to retire. With the thought of ending the business, one of her loyal customers came to the rescue. The business was sold to Maiko and Keijiro Ushijima during the summer of 2021. The Ushijima's had moved to HI from Japan in 2017 due to Keijiro's job, and Maiko's love for these cookies prompted her to take an interest in the business. She noted that she had taken these cookies back to Japan for omiyage, and the recipients loved them! There was a condition, however, with the selling of the business. The same recipes were to be used in making the original flavors, and that the cookies were to be made out of love. The Ushijima's agreed to maintain the same inventory, but moved the business to 808 Sheridan to a more centralized location in Honolulu and to broaden its selection of cookie offerings. Lilikoi and matcha flavors were added. And you may even find Dale periodically assisting Maiko at the shop, offering her assistance and quality control skills. Look for these addictive cookies in its signature red bags, plastic jars, and in sampler bags. Simple party favors can also be requested. I've tried the lemon cookies, which is noted as the most popular flavor. They were delicious, light, crispy, not overly sweet, and sprinkled with powdered sugar with a hint of lemony taste. So easy to eat the whole bag by yourself! The store is clean and spacious, with shelves displaying the many different flavors of cookies. You'll meet friendly and personable Maiko, who eagerly wants to assist you. She is most happy to provide a 10% kamaaina discount off of the red bags only. Hours of operation are from Tues to Sat, 10a to 5p, Sun/Mon closed; hours may vary during the holiday season. There is limited parking available within the structure that is shared with other businesses, as well as metered street parking. Wishing continued success to the Ushijima's in their local small business! Support local! I look forward in returning to try The Cookie Lady Hawaii's other flavors, including its #1 seller, the cornflake cookies!

"Me want cookie!" - Cookie Monster Now located on the third floor of the 808 Center, The Cookie Lady Hawaii, is in the perfect position for us townies to get more well-known locally-made crisp cookies that, for years, have shown up as gifts, family, or office gatherings, potlucks, or picnics. The Cookie Lady Hawaii was formerly located in Waipahū. Still, we had never been to her shop, yet we've enjoyed annual assortments of this business' cookies at former office parties or as Christmas gifts. We stumbled upon this relocation when we considered having lunch at the 808 Center and serendipitously ran into a friend who changed our cuisine choice from Szechuan to Vietnamese. As we climbed the stairs to the top floor of the 808 Center, we were "greeted" by a wooden A-frame sandwich board advertising The Cookie Lady Hawaii's location at the east corner end. We were more driven by our hunger for a savory meal but kept this business in mind for dessert but vowed to return. A single salesperson/cashier was assisting a customer when we entered the store, so we just browsed the shelves to see what flavors were available. If you're looking for soft, chewy cookies, you will not find them here. This business' specialty is CRISP and crunchy textured drop cookies. The cookies have a homemade flavor and are sold in various container sizes by weight. The saleswoman asked if we had flavor preferences and offered to assist us with our selections. We eventually chose a bag each of Lemon-Flavored (5.5 oz) and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip (6 oz) cookies priced at $10.35 apiece. Again, since the cookies are SOLD BY WEIGHT, don't expect the same amount or size of cookies of flavored cookies as those with nuts, dried fruits, mochi crunch, or chocolate chips. But the cookies are all so tasty that they'll disappear quickly no matter how many are in each container. This shop also has tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your cookies with a hot or cold beverage from their menu. There is an attached parking structure for the 808 Center, but I don't have any validation or payment information about because we usually come by foot.

Possibly the best cookies on Oahu... The Cookie Lady recently moved to Honolulu from Waipahu! The cute shop is currently located on the third floor of the 808 Sheridan Center - the same level as Sushi Murayama and Le's Bahn Mi. I saw a post on Instagram and felt happy that these cookies are closer to me...for gift giving! I'm afraid to open a bag for myself because the bag will soon be empty of those delicious, crunchy treats! I usually park for free on Sheridan Street. One side of the street (next to Walmart) has metered parking and the other side doesn't. Choose wisely! Service is cheerful and efficient! Stop by and get a bag of the Chocolate Chip Cookies or the Lemon Flavored Cookies! The Furikake Mix Cookies and Cornflake Cookies are also popular! Note: closed on Sundays and Mondays. Open from 10am to 5pm.

I was sad when they had to close the original location for The Cookie Lady Hawaii an so excited that they have reopened in a location closer to Waikiki! Parking isn't as easy here as it was in the old location and although it's new ownership, the cookies taste the same! They seem to have more of a limited supply of the different options as we were looking for more of the larger plastic containers as they are easier to transport back to the mainland, but were glad to see they still sold the larger containers as their website didn't mention those containers. My favorite are the lemon cookies and the cornflake! Their cookies are not soft and chewy but thinner and crispy. Try them out, I love them and stop to buy some every time I'm on the island!!

My favorites: Peanut Butter and Lemon Flavored

The best cookies on the island period! New location and new owner but same great old fashioned recipe! My favorites are the Lemon Flavored and Peanut Butter. Highly recommended.

A friend gave me some Cornflake cookies years back and I thought it was the best cookies I've ever had! I've always told myself whenever I go back to Oahu, I must stop by Cookie Lady Hawaii to buy some Cornflake cookies to bring back. Well, I did finally come back to Oahu, and I came to Cookie Lady Hawaii the day before I had to leave Oahu. I looked around the store... and there were no cornflake cookies to be found! The girl working there told me they were all sold out for the day, and they'll stock them again tomorrow afternoon. My heart was crushed... my flight is at noon the next day so there was no way to get the cookies on this trip. That is until the girl kindly asked when my flight is and chatted with someone in the kitchen. She told me they can have cornflake cookies ready when they open tomorrow at 10am. I was overjoyed, and I did not care if I was going to be late for my flight LOL. She took down my name and how much I planned to buy. I got to the store as soon as they opened the next day, and they had the cookies ready for me! Thank you so so much to the girl helping me, and to the owners and kitchen staff for accommodating my schedule. This was very kind and meant a lot to me! I will definitely be back again!

I needed to buy something local to bring back to the office and a bag of the Cookie Lady Hawaii cookies did the trick. The cookies were thin and crispy and pretty darn good. I brought back a bag of the Furikake Mix and wanted to also purchase a bag of the Mochi Krunch but that was still being baked in the oven and we didn't have time to wait for it. Needless to say, the office was happy and satisfied with the Furikake Mix cookies.

First, let me preface by saying I prefer chewy cookies over crispy ones. However, The Cookie Lady Hawaii's cookies are insanely delicious and addicting! My favorites are the lemon, chocolate chip with mac nuts, and sprinkle...however they're all really good!..and that's coming from a person that typically enjoys chewy cookies. I'm afraid to ask what the nutritional values are..maybe that's why it's not posted on the container. Give these cookies a try and you'll be hooked! Just a side note, since these cookies are crispy, they can break easily. If you're gift giving, keep that in mind if presentation matters.

Scrumdillyumptious! Melt in your mouth goodness. I almost finished a bag all by myself. I couldn't wait to return home and eat it up with a glass of milk. There are all sorts of flavored cookies from mochi crunch cookies to the normal flavor chocolate chip. Today was my first time and I'm in love with first bite. I asked the cookie lady what is the most popular flavors, she told me furukaki and the lemon cookie. I only had $10 (she only takes cash or check) so I decided to try a flavor that I usually like, sprinkle cookies. A bag cost $6.50. I'm going back to try the rest of the cookies. Hopefully, I'll make in time to try out the other flavored smaller bags. It's 3 cookies for $2.

We picked up a variety of pastries, including a few matcha breads, the chocolate emoji bread, bacon onion bread, and the Cinnamoroll blueberry bread. My boyfriend mainly had the matcha breads and his favorite was the matcha mochi an-pan. I tried some as well and really enjoyed the combination of red bean paste and chewy mochi filling. The chocolate emoji bread was so cute, but flavor-wise it was simply bread with dark chocolate inside. It was good, but nothing memorable. The bacon onion bread was probably my favorite, it was savory, flavorful, and satisfying. I also enjoyed the Cinnamoroll blueberry bread. The blue sprinkles made it extra cute, and the blueberry custard filling was yummy. For drinks, we ordered the Cinnamoroll blueberry iced tea lemonade and the blueberry white chocolate cold brew. Unfortunately, neither drink had much blueberry flavor. The iced tea lemonade tasted more like a classic Arnold Palmer, while the cold brew was a bit too sweet for my taste and wasn't my favorite overall. While the bakery items were good, they didn't completely wow me. That said, the Cinnamoroll collaboration was adorable and made for a fun experience.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife around 1:20PM. We walked right in, ordered a drink,…read moreand even grabbed a table to relax from all the craziness of Waikiki. I say this because we drove by this place plenty of times in the morning and there was always a ridiculously long line. The barista was super helpful and guided us to where we can order since it was pretty much empty inside with no line. She recommended a latte with honey, vanilla, and oat milk, so we got the iced version to share. The drink was so smooth and the atmosphere was perfect to just enjoy the AC and people watch out the window.

I used to absolutely love Kona Coffee Purveyors. For years, my wife and I made this place part of…read moreour Waikiki routine. I've waited in the long lines. I've walked out of the way from hotels just to get coffee and pastries here. I'm not even a pastry person, but this place made me care. The coffee, the croissants, the sandwiches. It used to feel expensive but justified because the quality was there. This last visit felt like the magic was gone. We came back during a long family trip with our two young kids, and the service was cold from the start. One employee seemed more interested in her phone and side conversations than the customers in front of her. The coffee was handed over messily, with liquid spilled on top like nobody cared enough to wipe it down. My wife also asked for a cup of ice when there were barely any people in line and instead of simply helping, the response was curt and dismissive, as if asking for something small was an inconvenience. The frustrating part is that this place built its reputation on details. Great coffee. Excellent pastries. Long lines that felt worth it because you were getting something special. Now it feels overpriced, indifferent and tired. Maybe the pastries are still good. Maybe the coffee is still technically good. But when the hospitality disappears, the whole experience changes. What used to feel like a destination now feels like another expensive Waikiki coffee counter coasting on reputation. I hate writing this because this place used to be a must visit for us. But after this trip, I'm done making the trek.

Since it was their anniversary on Sunday, also got their celebratory funfetti cupcake which also like their baked goods did not disappoint. The croissant base of many of their pastries is flaky. When fresh it crunches with every bite that you take. This time around we had the cinnamon roll, mango danish which had a chocolate mochi filling, and their char siu bun. It's such a neat take to have char siu in a croissant. We are used to having it in the doughy bao bread but in a croissant, savory with a crunchy outside tastes so much better. I love sweet but this one wasn't overly sweet, who would have thought that mango and chocolate pair so well together. It's the summer months, fresh mango on pastries. It was the perfect ripeness. For the cinnamon roll, you honestly cannot forget get their cinnamon roll...It's flaky and again the frosting is not overly sweet. Can't wait to get another box of their pastries again soon.

It's a cute little shop with benches facing the windows to people watch. It was hard to pick one item, but I ended up trying the Char Siu Croissant. I loved the flavors combining the sweet glaze and the savory meat. It's now one of my go-to weekend treats!

I love Pipeline Bakeshops Malasadas! I have been to several Malasada places in Hawaii but | love…read morethere's the best for the following reasons: 1. the size of the malasadas: some restaurants tend to make their Malasadas smaller and when places do this it ruins the overall texture and quality of it. The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. They have ice cream, cakes, and other desserts Also tip: if you are ordering a malasada also order a coffee or a matcha drink to go with it. The cinnamon sugar from the malasada just matches so perfectly with a drink this restaurant is also a nice place for walking! There's lot of stores and restaurants to walk around! I'm trying to remember but I think there was a book off that was not too far from here! If you either drive or maybe walk. Service: staff was super helpful and friendly while I was there. I was having an issue with my online order because my phone was being glitchy and they were so nice in helping :) Also wanted to note their branding is so cute!! They even sell merch items too

However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? BOOM SHAKA LAKA!!! the glizzy was yummy with the sriracha mayo drizzle. service was fast, you are personally served by them if you are getting takeaway. it is by a number system. it is on the third floor of some mall, pretty easy to find. if you can't find the mall just look for the GIANT teslas at the entrance. aka the little goblins of musky ahh crusty ahh elon musk.

What was interesting was how many birds were trying to come and steal your food from the table! Be aware of that. Service was good, food was alright. I ordered a noodle dish with shrimp in it. But maybe I would come back to try some other items.
