Picked up an absolute delicious corn dog at the Corn Dog Co food truck. They had the truck at the river surfing competition last weekend. The prices are decent and the quality and flavor is well worth the cost. The Corn Dog was cooked to perfection, the staff was super friendly and kind. There was a great vibe coming from the staff and it was nice to be able to sit by the river and enjoy my meal. They offer to top your Corn Dog with honey, mustard, ketchup or sweet chili sauce. 9/10 on this Corn Dog one of the best I've had. read more

Happened upon a festival in Sisters last weekend. We were planning to visit a truck at The Barn, but when my husband and I noticed the corn dog truck...we decided we needed one. They definitely had the longest line there...must be good, right? Yep. It was a wait, not horrible considering the line, and the service friendly. We ordered an Epic and a Mini, both with chips and a drink. You can opt in to ketchup, mustard, and/or honey after they buzz you up. The chips are just your everyday average spuds, but the corndogs are definitely top-notch and calorie-worthy. Went for my normal corn dog. Next thing we know the cook Joshua let us know he had a new special inspired by a cheese ragoon. Fried ragoon mix covered in batter and panko, smothered with chili sauce. It was as good as you would hope for. Definitely going to come by more often to see what other specials he is planning on trying. read more

Fresh made corndogs and other delicious fried stuff! You had me at fried... Epic dog was very well done. Crispy on the outside (if you're getting 'to go' and will be a bit before you eat it, ask for the sauces on the side and reheat first then add sauces) and It's quite large so I should have got the smaller version bc I wanted to try the cheese options too. Needless to say I didn't make it through it, but put my best effort bc it was good! Young men running the truck and personable and warm. Kettle chips are perfectly cooked and salted nicely. Finally made it there Friday and it did not disappoint, all the hype is true. Simple menu, I went for the Epic Corn Dog and a Mozzarella Cheese Bomb. I got a little direction for the young man working when asked what I wanted on it - choices are mustard, ketchup and honey. I went with mustard and he inquired about honey? I'm reluctant to try something new when it comes to dressing my dog, but I tried the honey. The combo of mustard and honey was pretty darn good. Where these "corn dogs" shine is in the batter. Light, slightly sweet and a little crispy. I tried two menu items, but in all honesty, one dog would have been fine. More than enough to satisfy the lunch crowd. They make their own chips as well, but I didn't try them. You can get a combo, I think by adding three dollars and then the dog comes with a drink and chips. New food truck in town. Right now they're operating out of the parking lot at the south-side Les Schwab tire place. Drive south on 3rd past the last roundabout and turn right. *Apparently they've moved to the Bend Factory Stores as of Feb 6. - Epic corn dog. A basic foot-long dog. In my mind, this is the go-to menu option if you're hankering for an old-school corn dog. Tasty, big, greasy. Add mustard and you're there. They do offer honey but I'm not a sweet kind of guy and besides, the batter seems to have a bit of sweetness anyway. - Cheese bomb. A small appetizer-sized thing, the cheese bomb is essentially a mini except with cheese as the basis instead of a dog. Choice of cheese. I did pepper jack. It's good. Frankly, after eating the large Epic, I wasn't ready for any more battered and fried food but I wanted to try it anyway. The Corndog Company (they operate trucks in other towns too) seems to be a customer centered outfit, at least this truck is. They aim to please and very much operate in the Bend way, which is to say friendly. Prices are downright reasonable. $6 for an Epic dog that will go a long ways to filling you up. We are visiting from out of town and I saw the Corndog Company on Yelp, there were great reviews and I love a good corndog, lucky I called them, the location on Yelp was not accurate, a really cool dude gave me their updated location and we drove over to where they were, we ordered the Epic and the smoked cheddar dog combo that came with home made potato chips and a soda, super nice guys working here that were very friendly, when our food came we also got ketchup, mustard and honey with our corn dogs, these were by far the best corn dogs I have ever had! We ate those and then split a corn dogs with sweet Chile sauce on it, We had a deep fried Oreo and a Girl Scout cookie for dessert, all at a reasonable price, 100% recommended read more

Yum! I love a good corn dog! They are a guilty pleasure of mine that I rarely indulge. This little side of the road food truck makes a good one...or should I say good ones? I had the epic combo which was a foot long basic corn dog that comes with fresh made kettle chips & a canned pop. My husband had the smoky corn dog. It was good, and not too smoky but we both decided we preferred the epic, which was larger & a more traditional corn dog. Now we have another place to frequent when we come to Bend. The service was great. Due to Covid, they "dress" your dog for you. We both had mustard & honey on ours. Very yummy! We also tried the corn dog battered wedge of cheddar cheese. Like many others have said, this truck has the absolute BEST corn dogs in the world. We found them at the Bend Fall Festival and even though $10 is a little steep, the epic dog delivered! I love that they use all beef hot dogs to start, and the breading was perfectly fried. I got mine with honey and mustard. I've never had honey on a corn dog before, and I don't think I'll ever go back. It's probably a good thing I don't live in Bend, or else I'd hunt for this place on the regular. I want to leave them a 5 star review so bad, but I'm conflicted. We've been coming here for a couple years now. Their corndogs are hands down the best we've ever had. Better than a hand dipped fair corndog. We've tried the mini (it's the size of a regular corndog), the epic (it's the size of two corndogs!), and the cheddar cheese bomb (sooooooo good!). The corndogs come with the option of mustard and/or honey. Honey? Weird, right. NO. It's so delicious! Who would have know. And the honey and the mustard together are amazing. A year ago they had homemade kettle type chips. I don't know if you've ever had a homemade kettle chip, but if not then you are seriously missing out. The corndogs are the best thing, with the homemade chips right up there. Now to why I'm conflicted on my rating. We went on 12/16 and ordered what we always do. When we got our order we were really disappointed to see the chips had changed. While still probably kettle chips, they were not homemade. Maybe some will think we're being ridiculous, but there is a huge difference. When asked we were told that it was getting to expensive to make homemade anymore. Ok, I get it. I hate it, but I get it. It would be nice if they had that written somewhere; on their website or somewhere? We bought extra chips with our corn dogs which isn't cheap, so that was disappointing to say the least. The bigger problem was them being there at their set hours. We went back with a group on 12/23 to share one of our favorite spots. After looking up their hours on their website we headed over that way. We arrived a little after 12 to unfortunately a closed up truck. No sign at all. This isn't the first time it's happened. There have been lots of different excuses. We are very understanding to stuff happening. Maybe they should change their hours on the website or their Facebook page? Something. Anything. We drive almost 20 miles to find them closed when the website showed them opened. read more
