If you are craving an excellent, old school, no nonsense burger, Bogey's Burgers is the place. This is the kind of burger that I remember eating at drive-ins when I was a kid. The balance of ingredients: bun, hamburger, lettuce, pickle, onion, and sauce, was perfect. The onion rings rank up there with the best in Redmond. If you want one of those gourmet burgers, smothered with sautéd mushrooms, drive a few blocks down the street; but Bogey's Burgers might be the best old fashioned burger in town. We have gone to Bogey's for YEARS! We "use to" love them. But lately, the past 6 times we have been there. Their service has gone down hill. I say, "The past 6 times", we liked them so much, we kept hoping they would improve. Each time we went there, they cant get our order correct. They use too much salt on their burgers, we've even requested NO SALT. * you do NOT use Kosher salt on burgers, too corse. We tried Bogey's one More time. And again, BOTH our orders were wrong. I called in my order then when I got there, she looked me in the face and said $32 for a small cheeseburger and a cheeseburger with bacon then I left the restaurant found out that my french fries were raw so I returned to the restaurant, also mentioning that they forgot to put the bacon on my burger so then the girl put on rubber gloves open up my burger. It appears there was bacon on it it was just so small. I didn't notice it for a $15 cheeseburger. You think you would get some noticeable bacon or at least cook your fries long enough that they're not raw or Aufort to replace them when you mention that they aren't cooked all the way instead of her response, we cooked them for two minutes, so rude never going back. Just had a bewildering experience at this restaurant. Searched and chose restaurant based on reviews as I'm from another state. I ordered two of the most expensive burgers an order of fry's a "Big" shake and a fountain drink. Order totaled close to $50.00. The wait person that rang me up handed me a small cup she did make sure and explain that I was allowed unlimited free refills. Since I created the order to go I explained that I had a cup in my vehicle and asked if I could just fill that to which the wait person responded sure that would be fine. I exited the restaurant to get my cup and returned and had just about finished filling it when I heard a male voice from the back of the restaurant loudly proclaim without addressing me specifically, "we don't usually allow customers to do that". I turned after fastening the lid on my cup to see that one of the two cooks I had observed behind the counter on my initial trip in was turned sideways and repeating what he had originally said but not addressing me to my face, which does irk me. I explained what I was told by the wait person and he looked at me and responded "well she shouldn't have done that but you told her water right and you're filling up soda?" I responded no , I ordered a fountain drink and he quickly and loudly interrupted me and said " I don't think so", as he moved towards the register to check the order which I took as incredibly insulting as were a couple of his behaviors that he exhibited so far such as not addressing me specifically to my face, but calling me a thief is okay to my face?! I told him to cancel my F$&@@& order I don't want to pay his restaurant almost $50 to be treated that way. He promptly asked me to leave and said he would return my money which he did. Bogey's makes one heck of a burger! In fact, its the best burger that I have ever had, which reinforces their claim of being the "Best Burger on Earth"! Seriously, it really is the best! They used fresh, never frozen, premium ground chuck meat! The meat is always cooked perfectly! Every burger comes with Fry Sauce, Lettuce, Onion, Pickle and Tomato, but you can take off any of those things and add other things such as various cheeses and bacon, among other things. The buns are also incredibly delicious and come from a local bakery, delivered fresh daily! All of their ingredients are incredibly fresh and high quality! In addition to their absolute killer burgers, they also serve the best waffle fries I've ever had! And their fry sauce is a masterpiece in its own right! They also serve wings, chicken tenders, onion rings and a wedge salad as well as a few other things, all of which are superb! The staff is also very polite, attentive and fast! Based the reviews, hubby and I decided to try these burgers. He ordered the Bogey Burger (without cheese or other add-ons) but with everything that comes with the burger. I ordered the bacon cheese burger w/Swiss, lettuce wrap and all the fixings. After my second bite I realized I didn't have the Swiss or the bacon. Took my burger back inside (because the dining room is closed for dine-in, we had to eat outside in the cold) and showed them. She told me she accidentally put them on my husband's burger and apologized, like that was all I needed to know. I'm sure I gave attitude so then she offered to switch meats on our two burgers, I declined because my husband was already halfway through his burger. Then she finally offered to make a new burger for me but I didn't want to wait another 15 minutes. By the time I got back outside, my husband was done with his burger. I should have requested a refund but I was too upset by that time. It was 2pm, so not busy. And I was starving because this was the first food I'd eaten today. So I just walked out and finished eating my cold burger. I will say that they do a good job on the lettuce wrap. I was able to hold the burger to eat it. Most places I've been to don't and I end up eating it with a knife and fork. I don't understand why they have so many good reviews, the burger wasn't that good. My family and I loved this place as a family dinner or lunch date. It is down hill now. My son and I ate lunch there today and both are really sick now. We have given it a few chances. This is our last attempt. Tired of getting sick from improperly cooked food and old toppings. The two ladies there serving and making food were very disrespectful because I didn't tip upfront. I wait to go tip my restaurant workers until they show tip worth I'm not afraid to tip well too. I worked in the service industry in my teens and twenties. I know how much a tip means but it's earned. Tip is after the service not before services. My son has been complaining of stomach pains and discomfort. Has had to go in and out of restroom a lot. Leaving that description there. I will not be going back to this establishment. It's frustrating to say this because it was our go to place as a family. If anyone is looking for top notch food. I'd go to the food trucks next door. Forget bogeys. It's now over priced and the people working are extremely entitled and mad about not receiving tips upfront when they serve nasty and old food to customers. If you're going to raise your prices then you better keep your quality of service and have staff that are not entitled and rude to customers. If I could give negative stars I would. We ordered 4 burgers to go and the entire time the blonde chick was looking back at us instead of focusing on the job and completely fucked up my meal. My "Bacon Cheeseburger" is just a plain burger. I ordered no lettuce and of course it came with it. Best burger I've had in central Oregon. Possibly the best burger I've ever had! Fantastic flavor, fresh ingredients, fresh chuck hamburger seasoned to perfection. Y'all had only three people working and the wait from order to take out was about 25mins and worth every minute. NO inside or outside dining. Totally fine with us. I don't even like waffle fries but was told I had to try theirs, and I'm glad I did. WOW! So good! Hard working staff here, and extremely efficient given their circumstances. While I cannot necessarily vouch, due to not having tried every Hamburger on Earth, I have tried a vast number of hamburgers in my lifetime, and declare this place to have the best Hamburger that I've ever had at least.
