I'm so sorry I didn't get her name but I will say this was my sons 2nd haircut ever and she was nice, patient and did an awesome job giving my son the cut he requested. He looks so handsome, thank you so much my new fiend at the Corner barber shop. Also, she gave me his hair as a keepsake because it was LONG and I appreciated that off top. Man this guy messed my head up. I asked for a regular hair cut, tapered, not too short. The hair on top is uneven, with long strands like he didn't even finish. The taper is way too high and he left a single patch just chilling and burned my neck with the clippers. He then proceeded to try and blow the excess hair off my face and neck with a blow dryer. Sometimes pointing it right into my ear until it hurt my eardrum. You gotta be some kind of a retard to pull this off. I've done a better job on myself without a second mirror. If you do go there, make sure one of the ladies cuts your hair. The two sisters that work there are on point. The guys are trash. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Linh for over 10 years. She does such a great job that I drive all the way down from Scripps Ranch just for a hair cut every week. Hands down cleanest fades and attention to detail. I've even tried there other barbers there when she was busy and never left disappointment once. Can't go wrong. I am skeptical about using different barbers but I needed a last minute haircut + I was in the area. Here are my thoughts: Pros: -FAST (got in & out within 30 mins @ 2pm on a weekday) -FRIENDLY staff (welcomed me) -GREAT price point! After many failed attempts for barbershops for my boys, I came upon this place thru google. And I must say..they are great!!!! They get 5 stars bc they did a really great job on my kids hair! They both have diff hair types. One is corse & curly and other is surfer hair style. They knew exactly what to do. And my oldest walked out so happy with his cut! And so did my youngest. They take their time and pay attention to what their doing. They are really busy but worth the wait & money! Which isn't even pricey. Compared to others I went to thinking location near my house was worth it but NO! Further out for me but I don't mind a great job done! Thanks for making my boys cut a great experience!! I've been coming here for my hair cut for many years. i've to say i't always a great experience. I recommend to everyone come to the lady on the second chair, she always wear a white barber shirt and the lady sit by herself on the other side. these ladies are the best! every time I come, I allowed my self to relax and trust whatever they did. I forget to tell you guys that these ladies just work on open hours. when you come late, they may leave. they open 9 to 5:30pm on M_F 9 to 5 on sat 9 to 3 on sunday. if you come later than this time just only one lady left that is not one I recommend. read more

I drive all the way from Vista to get my hair cut. Prices can't be beat and the barbers are excellent. My go to barbers are Linh and her sister. Great attention to detail from both. This barbershop of barbers used to cut hair in Mira Mesa and moved to Spring Valley. Most of the good barbers left, but there still are two originals. The sisters. The older sister that is on the right when you walk in towards the back. The only barber chair on the right. She gets down. That's if she is available. You may have to wait a while because customers like to wait until she is available and let others go ahead when a barber is available. $12.00 for a haircut. Everyone there is decent, but there is a newer young skinny asian guy. I would avoid him if you can. He does not know how to do fades that good and had one of the sisters come and finish it up. Cash only, so if you need and ATM then hit up the liquor store next door. Hope that helps. read more

My go to spot. Cuts are hella cheap, and the attention to detail is on point. Got my cut by Wendy and she takes her time making sure my taper skin fade comes out fresh. They also use this special clipper that has like a hair suction application to it, so all that hair they cut doesn't get over your clothes or shoes. The only downside is it can get a little busy in there, but what can you expect, if it's good... it's bound to be busy. read more
